My SQL reporting server was working for a while but just recently, the reporting server web portal has stopped working and I get the following error shown in the pictures attached. I have also checked the SQL reporting server manager but for some reason, it can't find the instance name..enter image description here

I have a SQL 2012 instance called LTT which contains a database called ReportServer$LTT. I have installed SSRS 2017. After the installation of SSRS2017 it is using SSRS as its Report Server Instance. But I need it to use LTT. How do i change the Report Server Instance? Using SQL Management Studio I am unable to connect to <servername>\LTT Report Server and I get the following error:
The Reporting Services instance could not be found.
(MS.sqlserver.managment.UI.RSClient)
I am also unable to connect to: \SSRS and get this error:
Unable to connect to the server at \SSRS. The specified
URL might not be valid or there might be a problem with the report
server version of configuration. Specify a different URL....
You'll need to remote desktop to the report server. Then open Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
Click on the "Database" tab. From there you'll be able to change the database the report manager uses.
I am unable to download report builder on client's browser. Its showing following error screen (right bottom) and error log.
SQL Server 2017 Standard Edition installed on Azure VM. SQL Server 2016 Report Builder also installed on Azure VM. Report display working perfectly with SSRS Report URL. I have checked on both link http & https its giving same error. Also i have implemented Microsoft.Samples.ReportingServices.AnonymousSecurity. I am using google chrome browser at client where i have installed "ClickOnce for Google Chrome".
Please help if anyone have any idea.
Thanks
I'm unable to generate a report from the web based interface (Report Manager). The same report in my Visual Studio project works perfectly.
The error which appear when trying to generate the report from the web is
"Cannot create a connection to data source"
The log file error is the fallowing
Cannot get edition information from catalog server.
The report data is retreived from an SQL Azure database.
How come the report can work inside my Visual Studio project but no more once deployed?
I've tried both SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2008 on fresh machines and both gives the same result.
Thanks,
After a half day of troubleshooting this issue, I discovered it was because the edition of SSRS I am using does not support Azure SQL Databases as a data source.
I am using 2008 Express Advanced Edition. It appears Standard or above is required for this.
See this article for more information:

I have recently installed SQL Server 2012 Developer on my laptop. I created a simple SSRS report using AdventureWorks201. The report builds fine but will not deploy. I get the error "The specified report server URL http:/localhost/Reports_MSSQLSERVER2012 could not be found"
I am able to browse to said URL without issue. I can even upload the report and run it just fine. I am using an administrator account in both cases (on the URL and within SSDT).
Is there some reason why SSDT cannot see the URL I am specifying?
I am new to SSRS. I have developed some reports using BIDS using SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) when I run them from my machine reports are running ok. But there are not appearing from SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS). Even when I open SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) in a web broswer
I can not see the reports on SSRS. How can I ensure that these reports are appearing or can be seen on SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) URL?
Please help.
Have you deployed them?
Right-Click on the report and go to Deploy
or
In the Build menu select "Deploy projectname"
You may have to set the project properties first for TargetServerURL to something like
http://SSRSserver/reportserver
They can be found in the Project menu under "projectname Properties"
There are two options to deploy your reports on server -
1] You can directly deploy it from your VS by right clicking on your report & selecting deploy option, here you need to mention target server -
http://[server name]/ReportServer
2] If you are able to access report server then web browser provide one option to upload your reports. So you can upload your report directly on report server (.rdl file). Here you need to set proper connnection string & permission rights to access the report.
Hope this will help you..!!
