I am not sure if this is the place to ask but i wanna build a restaurant site for a friend, However he wants to himself be able to change the menu around if in a years time it changes etc, In WordPress is there an easy plugin which allows you to do that? Or does it have to be done manually?
For example if there is an easy content managing system out there? Im really dont use word press so im not sure , i mostly code
Thanks
The most common way to do this would be using Advanced Custom Fields plugin. It allows you to create custom fields, so that you can create custom areas that the client could edit, without breaking the styling of the site.

Does anyone know if I can integrate GrapeJS into my own website so clients could build their own websites using it? IF anyone has done this, how easy is it and are there downsides?
This question is pretty open ended, but I'll take a shot at it.
The short answer is yes, you can use Grapesjs to allow clients to make their own sites; however, the details matter.
Grapesjs by default doesn't know anything about your stack, website structure, metadata, etc. You will need to either supply plugins or implement those features yourself. I've worked on a project for a company that used Grapesjs to implement single page apps and I'll include just some of the tweaks we had to manage.
Hiding certain layers that only confuse average users.
Hiding pretty much all of the styling, and using traits to allow people to pick from some predefined styles.
Take the html, css on store and generate the final html page, and store it in our static serving folder on the server.
Implement a wrapping "App" component that has traits for the different metadata we want users to control (open graph metadata, title, etc)
and those are just the big things, I'm sure I am forgetting several small ones.
For your application, you'll also need to implement a custom trait for links / buttons that allows you to link from one "page" to another. As well as, a way to allow a user to pick which page to work on.
The long answer is Yes, but Grapesjs is only the starting point.
Yes you can.
However it is not straightforward.
If you want to build a Drag Drop Editor like GrapeJS Demo, here is the Source Code - https://github.com/artf/grapesjs-preset-webpage
You can see an implementation at https://codegres.org/dragdrop
I'm currently creating a website for a school project, and I would like to add a search bar in which we can look for a word on the website. It would work like a traditional Ctrl+F (Command+F) but for every html file on the website, and then present the result either on a pop-up or on a different page.
I believe this requires a specific software, but I don't know which one, and I'm pretty sure I don't know how to use it.
Thanks for any insight on how to do that!
You have a plenty of options. The particular choice will depend on your site specifics (is the content static or dynamic etc.). Anyway you will need to build a search index. I suggest to use something almost ready to go. See elasticsearch and a crawler for it.
One easy way would be to use Google Custom Search if the website will be online.
Another option would be to build or use an existing php search script. In this case your webhoster must support php. for static webpages this is not the best option, as the script has to search through all files everytime you search something.
It will be a lot easier if you use a CMS (Content Management System) to build your site, they usually have the Search-functionality included or as an addon.

I am building a couple of websites for a company. The problem is that they do not know any HTML at all, which means that if they would like to change a text or edit something on the webpage, they would need to get a programmer to do it.
Is there any better way for them to edit texts than login into the server and edit the HTML file?
Some sort of an admin page in a sense.
You have several ways to perform what you want to do :
You can create yourself an admin page
It will be longer to code, you will have to take care of every security issues that may exist. But at the end, you will be sure that everybody can change what they want, without editing something they shouldn't.
You can use a Content Management Systems (CMS)
A lot of thing will be already coded for what you need. But you're not sure your users can't be lost somewhere they shouldn't be and start editing some essential things.
Furthermore, some CMS are known to have security issues.
If you want to use a CMS, you should look at the list of existing CMSs (PHP section), the most popular being wordpress, magento, drupal ...
Why don't you use a CMS like WordPress? Easy to use, easy to develop.
I have to code a little html site in my informatic class and we have to give it to a client when finished. The thing is, he wants to be able to add posts regulary without having to go into the code. Is there a way to, like, translate raw text into an all-ready tag and automatically implement it on the website ?
you could use wordpress. Is it possible to convert your website to wordpress template? It have admin panel, also there is application for iOS. You could post through emails. It is quite complicated to make it by yourself as there are few security issues you have to be aware. Other way is to use other frameworks like http://get-simple.info which uses text databases in files.
I am currently in an internship and making a website for someone. I have nearly finished the website and they would like a way to easily edit the website without messing around too much with code. They have no development team and once my internship is over, obviously they'll be stuck and they would like a way to edit the content on the website. How can I go about doing this? I mentioned a WordPress site to them but they didn't like the sound of that. Are there any other ways in which I can allow them to have this functionality?
Cheers
You can either create a Wordpress-similar, with a login, and while navigating through pages they would have options normal users do not have (e.g: delete, etc).
Or you could create an admin dashboard, where there would be every settings.
I think the second one is the best option for you, as it doesn't require you to modify any pages already created, and you will not have to adapt the style of your website to those supplementary options which would be shown on every pages if you used the first option.
Edit:
Or you could have all the content of the website in files, so that they simply need to edit the files to change the content. Even though I think option 2 is better, this one is a lot simpler to put in place.
