My application is running on dot net 3.5 framework and i want to integrate the SharePoint online from 3.5 framework application so it is possible to integrate that ?
Because the Microsoft.SharePoint.Client Assembly is available in 4.0 on wards so is there any way to connect the sharepoint online from my application which is running in 3.5 framework can't convert application to 4.0 straight away because it's a big application and i want to implement sharepoin online with this application.
I have googled and found two possible solution as mentioned below:
Make a new project and Compile it into 4.0 with COM compatibility which does not seems an good idea because it required to add the manifest file from all the invoked function which is not feasible for me.
So i am looking for a easy solution to integrate the 4.0 dll into 3.5 without com or is there any way to use CSOM libraries into 4.0 ?
I am looking forward for forum response. thanks in advance :)

With .Net Core 2.0 not supporting Report Viewer, is there any other alternative way of doing this?
I found alanjuden's solution (https://alanjuden.com/2016/11/10/mvc-net-core-report-viewer/), but actually looking for official references.
We have migrated our project from .Net Framework 4.5.2 to .Net Core 2.0. However, stuck up with these reporting files as core 2.0 doesn't support.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Look at this answer, it might help you.
RDLC Local report viewer for ASP.NET Core and Angular(>2.0)
It looks like Microsoft is working on it (or better spending on it, but no official packages seems to be available just yet).
Other references can be found here:
https://github.com/aspnet/AspNetCore/issues/1528
Where they mention PDF libraries and export functionalities
Another library that might help you: https://www.nuget.org/packages/AspNetCore.Reporting
Commercial solution: https://help.syncfusion.com/aspnet-core/reportviewer/getting-started
Other possible duplicates:
Rendering .rdlc reports with ASP .NET Core
Microsoft LocalReport (rdl) in ASP.NET Core MVC App
I found this package useful. I have successfully created a pdf using the RDLC using this library. I'm hoping to write a blog post on that soon. https://www.nuget.org/packages/AspNetCore.Reporting
However there's a major issue in this library where when you have multiple files it doesn't work properly. It uses some internal caching so whatever the first requested rdlc file only will work.
Update:
I have written an article on how you can integrate this library to generate a pdf. Please check this link.

This could be a really dumb question, but I just can't seem to open the v3 solution file.
I experienced something similar on the vNext, but after an hour or so it resolved itself and seem to set itself up ok for future access. This v3 has been running overnight and still not loaded.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Really you need to supply more information - what operating system are you on? Which development environment(s)? Which SDKs do you have installed?
V3 is currently being developed in Xamarin Studio (v4.0.2) on the Mac for iOS and on a custom build of Xamarin iOS and Droid plugged into VS2012 Ultimate on the PC - with WP7.1 and WP8 SDKs both installed, and with resharper (and a smattering of other code too)
I've checked in a lot of code in the last 24 hours - so it's worth getting the latest again from source control and seeing if that helps.
If it doesn't then is there any more information published to the output windows about what is going wrong? I've personally had a lot of problems and a lot of wasted time with the Xamarin plugins in VS2012 - the activation modules are a nightmare (which is why I have a custom build currently installed)
I want to use Mvvmcross to make application for several platforms.
I use Profile 104 for PCL library like Mvvmcross, but this profile target .NET 4.5.
I want to target .NET 4.0 to use my application on Windows XP.
To do that, I add the xml files
MonoAndroid, Version = v1.6 +. Xml
and
VSMonoTouch, Version = v1.0 +. Xml
in the profile 143 which allows me to target. NET framework 4.0.3.
However, I have a compilation error because it can not find the ICommand interface.
This interface is not in the same library between version 4.0 and 4.5, is it why it doesn't work ?
Or should I recompile all Mvvmcross libraries with profile 143?
thanks,
This is a Portable Class Library limitation.
See the table on: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg597391.aspx
Model-View-View Model (MVVM)
Only 4.5
This means that if anyone wants to use MvvmCross on earlier .Net platforms then someone has to build and maintain a non-PCL version.
Since the maintainer of Mvx (me!) has decided to only maintain PCL versions of MvvmCross, then any non-PCL support will have to be created by the community.
For WPF this shouldn't be too large or difficult a job - but it might be...
Alternatively, somebody might be able to do something funky to get the ICommand working... I've retagged this question with portable-class-library to try to lure in some of the MS experts.
The new Netbeans 7.3 Beta 2 adds a really nice feature for creating an HTML5 application. It also provides a great way to create a Java Server based Web Application. But there does not appear to be any way, within the Netbeans IDE, to take advantage of both technologies in one project.
Is there a way combine these two type of projects, so there is only one web directory structure with both the HMTL5, js, and web services files?
This is definitely planned for the next release, but it is not yet possible in NetBeans 7.3. You can follow this enhancement request to see progress in this area: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=222236. If you'd like to experiment with this, you can build NetBeans with the patch attached to that issue.
I am getting into ActionScript-ing and SQLLite development.
What are the essential development IDEs and utility tools I should get set up for a smooth development experience?
It would be great if you categorize - as free and paid-for-software.
I am accustomed with the Microsoft "free" experience in terms of - Visual Studio Express edition or SQL Server Express edition.
Are there similar counter parts for this platform?
FlashDevelop - Open source IDE for flash but no visual designer. As far as SQLLite you can actually create and manage the databases all with actionscript but if you want to edit/create them with an IDE there are several open/free solutions, from a quick google search we have:
//SQLLite DB manager/admin tool made in Adobe AIR
http://www.dehats.com/drupal/?q=node/58
//Same idea but open source made with QT so probably C/C++
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/
//FlashDevelop
http://www.flashdevelop.org/wikidocs/index.php?title=Main_Page
Flashdevelop is pretty much king when it comes to code hinting/completion, pretty much what you'd expect in features from microsoft VS IDEs. There is also a pretty good user base and thus many tutorials/documentation and project templates.
I too use the DB admin tool formerly from www.dehats.com, which has since been renamed Lita and put on GitHub . However, a significant drawback to Lita is its complete lack of runtime error reporting when executing SQL queries.
Mauricio Piacentini is an excellent programmer, but Flash developers should be aware that his
SQLite Database Browser does not support the non-standard features added to AIR's version of SQLite, such as additional column affinity types.
So, as a complement to Lita I've been using Paul Robertson's Run! app. It doesn't have as many features as Lita, but it supports AIR's version of SQLite and it does report errors in your SQL queries.
Like Ascension, I'm a fan of FlashDevelop.
