Content resize ionic 2 - tabs

I'm having a problem with usage of content.resize(); in tabs with native keyboard plugin. Can any anyone guide me how to use and where to use content resize with tabs when the content dimension changes due to native keyboard appearance? Below is the code I'm using:
this.keyboard.onKeyboardHide().subscribe(() => {
this.isKeyboardHide = true;
setTimeout(() => {
this.content.resize();
}, 500);
});
I'm unable to resize my child view content once the android keyboard appears. Here is the sample code on github.

how can solve the ReferenceError: window is not defined in service-worker at pwa?

ReferenceError: window is not defined
progressive web apps using at "add to home screen" not working.
this is my services-workder.js
window.addEventListener('beforeinstallprompt', function(e) {
e.userChoice.then(function(choiceResult){
console.log(choiceResult.outcome);
if(choiceResult.outcome == 'dismissed'){
console.log('User cancelled home screen install');
}else{
console.log('User added to home screen');
}
});});
That code is meant to run in the context of your web app's window, not inside of your service worker's code.
So, move it to something like a <script> tag inside of your HTML.

Google Chrome frameless (like kiosk)

I want know if is it possible to make Google Chrome behave like a kiosk (without a frame or controls) but not in full screen, like the next mock picture:
My solution in Electron:
var app = require('app'); // Module to control application life.
var BrowserWindow = require('browser-window'); // Module to create native browser window.
// Keep a global reference of the window object, if you don't, the window will
// be closed automatically when the JavaScript object is GCed.
var mainWindow = null;
// This method will be called when Electron has finished
// initialization and is ready to create browser windows.
app.on('ready', function() {
// Create the browser window.
mainWindow = new BrowserWindow({width: 800, height: 600, frame:false});
// and load the index.html of the app.
mainWindow.loadURL('http://www.google.com/');
// Emitted when the window is closed.
mainWindow.on('closed', function() {
// Dereference the window object, usually you would store windows
// in an array if your app supports multi windows, this is the time
// when you should delete the corresponding element.
mainWindow = null;
});
});
I do not think that it's possible to make Chrome itself behave that way, but a Chrome App (not an extension) can do this.
This is an option in window creation:
chrome.app.window.create("app.html", {
frame: "none"
});
Note that you will have to provide your own controls to close/move the window.
To make it behave like a browser, you'll need to embed a <webview> element. See also a browser app example.
However, note that Chrome Apps are being deprecated.
You should consider using a similar platform, like Electron or NW.js, to build your own "mini-browser" for your purpose.

Custom HTML Dialog in Electron

How (or is it even possible) to use custom HTML dialogs in Electron? I know that Electron provides certain dialogs (showMessageDialog, showErrorDialog) but these do not seem to allow custom HTML.
I do not wish to use native HTML dialogs (dialog) tag as it does not 'blend in' with the user interface.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
You can create a BrowserWindow that's modal and, if you like, frameless. See http://electron.atom.io/docs/api/browser-window/.
Yes.
On your parent you should have:
const { remote } = require('electron');
const { BrowserWindow } = require('electron').remote;
and then:
let child = new BrowserWindow({
parent: remote.getCurrentWindow(),
modal: true,
width:300, height:300,
webPreferences: {
enableRemoteModule: true,
nodeIntegration: true
}
});
child.loadFile('myCustomModal.html');
On myCustomModal.html remeber to include a way to close the modal!
like:
<button id="cancel-btn">Cancel</button>
<script>
const remote = require('electron').remote;
document.getElementById("cancel-btn").addEventListener("click", function (e) {
var window = remote.getCurrentWindow();
window.close();
});
</script>
As Marc Rochkind said in a previous answer, you can use modal windows in Electron.
However, I have found a small bug with modal windows which causes the parent window to flicker for a very short duration when its .show() function is called. After quite some time on Google, I found an open issue on GitHub about the same problem. After reading the comment section in the issue, and stumbling across some code snippets, I shared a hacky solution in the issue's comment section.
It does take some work to set up, but once it's done, it's really easy to port to other child windows.

GMap inside Jquery Mobile page with IScrollView

I have a webapp created with JQuery Mobile v1.3.2 implementing IScrollView.
When I'm scrolling the map vertically the Scroll View scrolls also.
Is there a way to disable that behaviour, to cancel iscroll scrolling when scrolling the gmap?
Thanks in advance.
The problem is that the map still seems to propagate touch events to iscroll. Let's try to prevent this by stopPropagation();
Edit
Here is the working jQuery mobile fiddle
var map_canvas = $('#map_canvas')[0];
// "mousedown" should be "touchstart" on mobile device
$(map_canvas).bind('mousedown', function(e) {
e.stopPropagation();
});
A fiddle with plain javascript here.
var map_canvas = document.getElementById('map_canvas');
// "mousedown" should be "touchstart" on mobile device
map_canvas.addEventListener('mousedown', function(e) {
e.stopPropagation();
}, false);
P.S.
Find here The link to the stopPropagation docs, comes in very handy some times ;)

Kinetics JS "Click" or simple "Touch" event for Mobile device

I am using kinetic-v4.3.0-beta2.js
I want to handle mobile touch event on group for ios & android.
I am binding event such as following
group.on('touchstart', function (evt) {
$('#onpopMenu').popup("open", { x: leftPosition, y: topPosition });
});
I tried 'touchend', 'touchstart' and 'tap'
Got partial success in "Tap" but in that case, shape is draggable so tap event is not properly fire because object will move from it's place.
but if shape is not draggable then it will work fine.
I tried 'touchend' and 'touchstart' event also but popup menu is close after event fire in iOs and android as I am opening Jquery Mobile Popup by Touching group!
The popup menu will only open for 2-3 seconds when the touchstart event fired.
Anyone faced the same problem with kinetic JS Mobile events? How to handle only "Click" or "Touch" event with it.
I checked this http://www.html5canvastutorials.com/kineticjs/html5-canvas-mobile-events/ for reference but had no luck!
I am developing application with Phonegap + JQM + Kinetics JS
Thanks in advance!
Keep in mind that your application is running inside a webview. This is why you've got these 2/3 seconds of delay on touch/click event.
This is why in all my PhoneGap dev, I use Fastclick.js. FastClick is a simple, easy-to-use library for eliminating the 300ms delay between a physical tap and the firing of a click event on mobile browsers. The aim is to make your application feel less laggy and more responsive while avoiding any interference with your current logic.
You can find it here https://github.com/ftlabs/fastclick.
It's easy to use (if you're using jQuery) :
<script type='application/javascript' src='/path/to/fastclick.js'></script>
<script>
$(function() {
FastClick.attach(document.body);
});
</script>
I made a jsfiddle for you to test out the click/touch events.
From what I understand, you have a Kinetic.Group node that is draggable but you want to open up a popup using jquery mobile.
You are right that when you drag an object, the tap event does not fire. But you said otherwise the tap event works fine if the shape is not draggable. This leads me to believe:
You want a popup on "tap"
You want a popup on "dragend"
If so, all you need is to use both events like this:
group.on('tap dragend', function (evt) {
$('#onpopMenu').popup("open", { x: leftPosition, y: topPosition });
});
Please let me know if my assumptions are wrong, and I can work with you to get the right solution. I am guessing when you want to popup, so if you let me know exactly when you want a popup to occur that will help a lot.
You might want to also look into using evt.cancelBubble = true; http://www.html5canvastutorials.com/kineticjs/html5-canvas-cancel-event-bubble-propagation-with-kineticjs/
