How can the bake shell be called from a controller in CakePHP 3?
\Cake\Console\ShellDispatcher::run(array(__FILE__, 'bake'));
leads to Error: Shell class for "Bake" could not be found. When adding
use Bake\Shell;
at the top it leads to Shell class for "Bake" could not be found. :-(

I am working on externalizing our IScheduledExecutorService so I can run tasks externally on a external cluster. I am able to write a test and get the Runnable to actually run ONLY if I turn on UserCode deployment. If I want to change this task at all and run the tests again I get the below in my external cluster member's logs..
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Class com.mycompany.task.ScheduledTask is already in local cache and has conflicting byte code representation
I want to be able to change the task if I could and redeploy to Hazelcast to just handle it. I do this kind of thing with our external maps now. It can handle different versions of our objects using compact serialization.
Am I stuck using user code deployment for these functional objects? If I need to make a change to it I need to change the class name and redeploy to production. I'm hoping to get this task right the first time and not have to ever do that but I have a way of handling it if I do.
The cluster is already running in production and I'll have to add the following to each member
HZ_USERCODEDEPLOYMENT_ENABLED=true
and the appropriate client code(listed below) to enable this.
What I've done...
Added the following to my local docker file
HZ_USERCODEDEPLOYMENT_ENABLED=true
and also in the code that creates a hazelcast client connecting to my external cluster with
ClientConfig clientConfig = new ClientConfig(); ClientUserCodeDeploymentConfig clientUserCodeDeploymentConfig = new ClientUserCodeDeploymentConfig(); clientUserCodeDeploymentConfig.addClass("com.mycompany.task.ScheduledTask"); clientUserCodeDeploymentConfig.setEnabled(true); clientConfig.setUserCodeDeploymentConfig(clientUserCodeDeploymentConfig);
However, if I remove those two pieces I get the following Exception with a failing test. It doesn't know about my class at all.
com.hazelcast.nio.serialization.HazelcastSerializationException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mycompany.task.ScheduledTask
Side Note:
We are using compact serialization for several maps already and when I try to configure this Runnable task via compact serialization I get the below error. I don't think that's the right approach either.
[Scheduler: myScheduledExecutorService][Partition: 121][Task: 7afe68d5-3185-475f-b375-5a82a7088de3] Exception occurred during run

I made Role model on one branch on github and run db:migrate.
When switch to new branch from master(scratch) and want to connect with it in rails console I get "uninitialized constant" error message.
My question is how is possible to get this error if I already sent table roles to database, and should be allowed to access is from all branches?
In rails you need a model to access database table via ORM. Model is a regular ruby class with some magic around it.
Since you no not have one on the other branch - you're getting the error about trying to access non-existent ruby class.
You can still access the table via raw sql queries via ActiveRecord::Base.connection.execute
I have studied these 2 sources, but none of those works for me.

Yii2 - How do I AutoLoad a custom class?
I have created custom helper class which I want to include in every model, controller and view in my application. I am using Yii2 advanced app version 2.0.11, IDE I am using is PHPStorm
QUESTION:
What I want to achieve is to not use use keyword at the beggining of every class but still be able to simply call AppHelper::myMethod() in models, controllers and views.
How is that possible?
Closest I got it working was using this solution https://stackoverflow.com/a/35160997/5395463
All other solutions did not work for me. I am getting errors like:
PHP Fatal Error – yii\base\ErrorException
Class 'frontend\controllers\AppHelper' not found
when I simply dont include use commons\commands\AppHelper;
or when not using namespace as they suggest there with other settings:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'yii\base\UnknownClassException'
with message 'Unable to find 'common\commands\AppHelper'
in file: C:\xampp\htdocs\domain.com\web\common/commands/AppHelper.php.
Namespace missing?' in ...
SOLUTION:
Thanks for your responses, I got it working finaly. https://stackoverflow.com/a/42330631/5395463 solution works best for me.
So I removed namespace from that class, but left it in common\commands folder, added require to frontend/web/index.php and backend/web/index.php files (not sure if I should add it to yii file in root too, I didnt, so far it is working good anyways), and changed calls of class from AppHelper::myMethod() to \AppHelper::myMethod() looks like eveything is working now.
In Yii2 You can use an explicit way adding \ to full namespaced name
\frontend\controllers\AppHelper
so you can sue your method
\frontend\controllers\AppHelper::yourMethod();
Solution for not lazy coders:
create component with your class so you can use it like \Yii::$app->my_component
if even this is too much and your IDE is better than Windows Notepad prepare macro that will print this for you
Solution for lazy coders:
Save your class in single PHP file without namespace.
Modify you entry script to include this class - i.e. for Basic Project Template it's /web/index.php; add there
require(__DIR__ . '/path/to/MyClass.php');
For Advanced Project Template modify it properly.
Now you can use your class by calling it like \MyClass (yes, \ is required and yes, your IDE probably will modify it anyway to MyClass with use MyClass; added at the beginning.
So very strange issue. I only recently starting using auto loading in PHP 5.3+ and of course, this inevitably led to composer.
I did a really simple install with composer with only one package, php Image Workshop.
In addition to my own auto loader, I fire of the vendor/autoload.php
Then in my code:
use PHPImageWorkshop\ImageWorkshop;
$imagelayer = ImageWorkshop::initFromPath( $filename );
The namespace is valid and I get into the class which immediately throws an error.
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function PHPImageWorkshop\\imageCreateFromJPEG() in /var/www/html/vendor/sybio/image-workshop/src/PHPImageWorkshop/ImageWorkshop.php on line 55
imageCreateFromJPEG should be in the global namespace already, but the code in the class doesn't prefix it with a '\'.
Is this all right? I feel like I'm looking for a black cat in a dark room.
I guess the problem is GD is not available in your PHP instalation. Try to install php5-gd and it should work.
Good luck
I am working on asp.net mvc with EF code first model. I am trying to apply migrations using EF code first to my project. I am using MySql database. currently i am using EF 4.3.1 version and mysql connector/.net of 6.6.4.0 version. I am successfully add migrations to my project that means i execute series of commands that gave no errors for me. I have followed these steps,
PM> Enable-Migrations
PM> Add-Migration InitialMigration
PM> update-database -verbose
these steps create Migration folder to my project and inside Migration folder it creates configuration and timestamp_Initialmigration files, in configuration file i have added following code.
SetSqlGenerator("MySql.Data.MySqlClient", new MySql.Data.Entity.MySqlMigrationSqlGenerator());
after that i have added one field to my class like,
public int newprop{get; set;}
after that i execute update-database -verbose command in PM console.
when i execute my application it throws an error like,
"Unknown column 'Extent1.newprop' in 'field list'"
please guide me why i am getting this error does i went to the wrong way please guide me.
If your not using automatic migrations
Database.SetInitializer(new MigrateDatabaseToLatestVersion());
public class MyMigrationConfiguration : DbMigrationsConfiguration<MyDbContext>
{
public MyMigrationConfiguration()
{
AutomaticMigrationsEnabled = true; // Are you using this ?????
AutomaticMigrationDataLossAllowed = true;
}
}
Then you need to tell EF using the PM Commandlet to add another migration and update the database.
PM> Enable-Migrations //already done this ?
PM> Add-Migration myLabel
PM> Update-Database
Search for "code based migrations" on web for help
This is a bit late to answer OP... But since it pops up as my first hit on google, ill go ahead anyways :)
The problem here is, that there are a number of restrictions on MySQL as compared to MSSQL.
* In particular with mysql on casesensitive filesystems (linux hosts), table names may not include capitalized letters.
* Also keys are restricted to 767 bytes and should/must be integer types.
* Then there is a problem in parts of the migration generators from Mysql.Data package. For instance when renaming, 'dbo' is not stripped away.
Have a look at this guide on insidemysql.com. It describes how to reconfigure the Aspnet.Identity stack for using int in the TKey typecast.
I have a project where i also have hooked into HistoryContext, allowing to alter structure of __MigrationHistory. It renames and resizes the table/columns. There's also the remake of IdentityConfig - so have a look at
https://github.com/mschr/ASP.NET-MVC5.MySql-Extended-Bootstrap/tree/master/my.ns.entities/DbContexts/MigrationConfig
https://github.com/mschr/ASP.NET-MVC5.MySql-Extended-Bootstrap/tree/master/my.ns.entities/IdentityConfig
Then hook it up with your context (see IdentityDbContext) and enable the mentioned MySqlMigrationScriptGenerator and HistoryContextFactory in your Migrations.Configuration class (see my IdentitiyMigrations.Configuration)
