Check network state in libGDX - libgdx

I would like to check Wifi stat in a libGDX project, tried to use code below:
Gdx.net.sendHttpRequest(HttpRequest httpRequest, HttpResponseListener httpResponseListener);
HttpResponseListener httpResponseListener = new httpResponseListener() {
public void handleHttpResponse (HttpResponse httpResponse) {
HttpStatus status = httpResponse.getStatus();
if (status.getStatusCode() >= 200 && status.getStatusCode() < 300) {
// it was successful
} else {
// do something else
}
}
}
I added permissions:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE" />
It says HttpResponseListener cannot resolved.
How should I fix this?

// there is a small 'h' here, which is wrong ---v
HttpResponseListener httpResponseListener = new httpResponseListener() {
public void handleHttpResponse (HttpResponse httpResponse) {
HttpStatus status = httpResponse.getStatus();
if (status.getStatusCode() >= 200 && status.getStatusCode() < 300) {
// it was successful
} else {
// do something else
}
}
}
// here, you still have the parameter types
Gdx.net.sendHttpRequest(HttpRequest httpRequest, HttpResponseListener httpResponseListener);
// this is correct
Gdx.net.sendHttpRequest(httpRequest, httpResponseListener);
Besides this, this probably won't work. If there is no internet connection, you will not get a response from the server. You have to override HttpResponseListener.failed().

DNN API Controller - A task was canceled Log

We have an JQuery Ajax call that will execute when a user is about to leave a page on a DNN module.
This error is being logged the whole time in the DNN logs.
How can I improve the error handling so that it doesn't log the whole time?
Here is the DNN log:
Here is the Front End Code on the Module :
$(window).on("beforeunload", function () {
ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage();
});
function ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage() {
if ($fromButtonEvent == false) {
var Url = $.fn.GetBaseURL() + 'DesktopModules/DNNCommon/API/Store/ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage';
$.ajax({
url: Url,
type: 'GET',
async: true,
dataType: 'json',
success: function () {
},
error: function (x, y, z) {
}
}).promise().done(function () {
});
}
$fromButtonEvent = false;
}
We are inheriting the DNNApiController class on our DNNCommon class.
This is the C# method being called:
[AllowAnonymous]
[HttpGet]
public void ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage()
{
if (SessionManager.GetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser") != null)
{
System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Session["DoNotRemoveSessionIfNotAuthenticated"] = false;
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("UserInfo", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCustomerCode", null);
}
}
I have attempted to add two different types of Try Catch clauses, but when I debug the code it won't hit the breakpoints and somehow it still logs the error in the DNN Admin logs. Is there perhaps a Try Catch in the DNNController class that is writing this error?
First attempt with Try Catch Clause with TaskCanceledException and TimeoutException:
[AllowAnonymous]
[HttpGet]
public void ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage()
{
try
{
if (SessionManager.GetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser") != null)
{
System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Session["DoNotRemoveSessionIfNotAuthenticated"] = false;
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("UserInfo", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCustomerCode", null);
}
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
EventLogController logController = new EventLogController();
if (ex.InnerException is TimeoutException)
{
ex = ex.InnerException;
}
else if (ex is TaskCanceledException)
{
if ((ex as TaskCanceledException).CancellationToken == null || (ex as TaskCanceledException).CancellationToken.IsCancellationRequested == false)
{
ex = new TimeoutException("Timeout occurred");
logController.AddLog("Timout Occured - Clearing Temp User Session When Leave Page.", ex.ToString(), EventLogController.EventLogType.ADMIN_ALERT);
}
}
logController.AddLog("Problem Clearing Temp User Session When Leave Page.", ex.ToString(), EventLogController.EventLogType.ADMIN_ALERT);
}
}
Second attempt with a TaskCanceledException:
[AllowAnonymous]
[HttpGet]
public void ClearTempUserSessionWhenLeavePage()
{
try
{
if (SessionManager.GetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser") != null)
{
System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Session["DoNotRemoveSessionIfNotAuthenticated"] = false;
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCreatedWebUser", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("UserInfo", null);
SessionManager.SetSessionObject("NewCustomerCode", null);
}
}
catch (TaskCanceledException ex)
{
EventLogController logController = new EventLogController();
logController.AddLog("Task Cancelled Exception - Clearing Temp User Session When Leave Page.", ex.ToString(), EventLogController.EventLogType.ADMIN_ALERT);
}
}

Return JsonResponse when i use an AuthTokenAuthenticator (symfony 3)

I specify that I start with Symfony. I want to create an API (without FOSRestBundle) with a token as a means of authentication.
I followed different tutorials for this set up. What I would like is when there is an error that is picked up by the class "AuthTokenAuthenticator", it is returned a json and not a html view.
Here are my script:
AuthTokenAuthenticator
namespace AppBundle\Security;
use Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Authentication\Token\PreAuthenticatedToken;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Authentication\Token\TokenInterface;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Exception\AuthenticationException;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Exception\CustomUserMessageAuthenticationException;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Exception\BadCredentialsException;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Core\User\UserProviderInterface;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Http\Authentication\AuthenticationFailureHandlerInterface;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Http\Authentication\SimplePreAuthenticatorInterface;
use Symfony\Component\Security\Http\HttpUtils;
use Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\JsonResponse;
class AuthTokenAuthenticator implements
SimplePreAuthenticatorInterface, AuthenticationFailureHandlerInterface
{
const TOKEN_VALIDITY_DURATION = 12 * 3600;
protected $httpUtils;
public function __construct(HttpUtils $httpUtils)
{
$this->httpUtils = $httpUtils;
}
public function createToken(Request $request, $providerKey)
{
//$targetUrlToken = '/auth-tokens'; // login
//$targetUrlUser = '/users/create'; // create account
/*if ($request->getMethod() === "POST" && $this->httpUtils->checkRequestPath($request, $targetUrlUser) || $request->getMethod() === "POST" && $this->httpUtils->checkRequestPath($request, $targetUrlToken) ) {
return;
}*/
$authTokenHeader = $request->headers->get('X-Auth-Token');
if (!$authTokenHeader) {
//return new JsonResponse(array("error" => 1, "desc" => "INVALID_TOKEN", "message" => "X-Auth-Token header is required"));
throw new BadCredentialsException('X-Auth-Token header is required');
}
return new PreAuthenticatedToken(
'anon.',
$authTokenHeader,
$providerKey
);
}
public function authenticateToken(TokenInterface $token, UserProviderInterface $userProvider, $providerKey)
{
if (!$userProvider instanceof AuthTokenUserProvider) {
throw new \InvalidArgumentException(
sprintf(
'The user provider must be an instance of AuthTokenUserProvider (%s was given).',
get_class($userProvider)
)
);
}
$authTokenHeader = $token->getCredentials();
$authToken = $userProvider->getAuthToken($authTokenHeader);
if (!$authToken || !$this->isTokenValid($authToken)) {
throw new BadCredentialsException('Invalid authentication token');
}
$user = $authToken->getUser();
$pre = new PreAuthenticatedToken(
$user,
$authTokenHeader,
$providerKey,
$user->getRoles()
);
$pre->setAuthenticated(true);
return $pre;
}
public function supportsToken(TokenInterface $token, $providerKey)
{
return $token instanceof PreAuthenticatedToken && $token->getProviderKey() === $providerKey;
}
/**
* Vérifie la validité du token
*/
private function isTokenValid($authToken)
{
return (time() - $authToken->getCreatedAt()->getTimestamp()) < self::TOKEN_VALIDITY_DURATION;
}
public function onAuthenticationFailure(Request $request, AuthenticationException $exception)
{
throw $exception;
}
}
Here is the error return that I have when I do not inform the token:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title> X-Auth-Token header is required (500 Internal Server Error)
How can i do to get a return json response ?
If i try to do a return new JsonResponse(array("test" => "KO")) (simple example), i get this error:
<title> Type error: Argument 1 passed to Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Authentication\AuthenticationProviderManager::authenticate() must be an instance of Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Authentication\Token\TokenInterface, instance of Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\JsonResponse given, called in /Users/mickaelmercier/Desktop/workspace/api_monblocrecettes/vendor/symfony/symfony/src/Symfony/Component/Security/Http/Firewall/SimplePreAuthenticationListener.php on line 101 (500 Internal Server Error)
You can create your own Error Handler. It's a event listener or subscriber that listens to kernel.exception, when it adds a response to the event, the event propagation is stopped, so the default error handler will not be triggered.
It could look something like this:
<?php declare(strict_types = 1);
namespace App\EventSubsbscriber;
use Symfony\Component\EventDispatcher\EventSubscriberInterface;
use Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\JsonResponse;
use Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\Event\GetResponseForExceptionEvent;
use Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\Exception\HttpException;
use Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\KernelEvents;
final class ExceptionToJsonResponseSubscriber implements EventSubscriberInterface
{
public static function getSubscribedEvents()
{
return [
KernelEvents::EXCEPTION => 'onKernelException',
];
}
public function onKernelException(GetResponseForExceptionEvent $event): void
{
// Skip if request is not an API-request
$request = $event->getRequest();
if (strpos($request->getPathInfo(), '/api/') !== 0) {
return;
}
$exception = $event->getException();
$error = [
'type' => $this->getErrorTypeFromException($exception),
// Warning! Passing the exception message without checks is insecure.
// This will potentially leak sensitive information.
// Do not use this in production!
'message' => $exception->getMessage(),
];
$response = new JsonResponse($error, $this->getStatusCodeFromException($exception));
$event->setResponse($response);
}
private function getStatusCodeFromException(\Throwable $exception): int
{
if ($exception instanceof HttpException) {
return $exception->getStatusCode();
}
return 500;
}
private function getErrorTypeFromException(\Throwable $exception): string
{
$parts = explode('\\', get_class($exception));
return end($parts);
}
}
ApiPlatform provides its own exception listener like this, that is more advanced, that you could look into if you need "better" exception responses.

Store.sync() lose extraParams

I have treeStore with extraParams
proxy: {
extraParams: {hierarchy_id: '5'},
api: {
update: jsonrpc.dim_hier.modifyData,
read: jsonrpc.dim_hier.getData,
create: jsonrpc.dim_hier.addData,
destroy: jsonrpc.dim_hier.deleteData
}
}
but store.sync() does not send to server this extraParams.
I tried to send param like this
component.getStore().getProxy().setExtraParam(
'hierarchy_id', hierarchy_id);
component.getStore().sync();
and this
component.getStore().sync({
params :{
hierarchy_id: hierarchy_id}
});
and
component.getStore().getProxy().setExtraParams({
hierarchy_id: hierarchy_id
});
component.getStore().sync();
but none of this works
What did I do wrong?
Thank for any help
In method doRequest (Ext.data.proxy.Direct)
if (action === 'read') {
params = request.getParams();
} else {
params = request.getJsonData();
}
I override this method like this
params = request.getParams();
if (action !== 'read') {
params.rows = request.getJsonData();
}}
Try it:
var store = component.getStore();
Ext.apply(store.proxy, {
extraParams: {
hierarchy_id: hierarchy_id
}
});
TO SEND THE extraParams ALWAYS NOT ONLY ON READ OPERATIONS (CREATE, DESTROY, UPDATE)
I extended
Ext.data.proxy.Direct
and override
doRequest
It worked like a charm.
Using ExtJs 4.1.1
The original code is:
if (operation.action == 'read') {
// We need to pass params
method = fn.directCfg.method;
args = method.getArgs(params, me.paramOrder, me.paramsAsHash);
} else {
args.push(request.jsonData);
}
I changed it to:
method = fn.directCfg.method;
args = method.getArgs(params, me.paramOrder, me.paramsAsHash);
if(operation.action !== 'read'){
args.push(request.jsonData);
}
Took the idea from here https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?282879-ExtraParams-Store-Create
Notice: your store will have a proxy of whatever you put on the alias of the class you created. Your alias will be like alias : 'proxy.mycompanydirect' then your store will have a proxy type 'mycompanydirect'

windows phone 8 download and play audio on background

I'm using background file transfer and background audio player.
in the TransferStatusChanged event i save the file to the isolated storage then play it with the audio player,
It works fine if the application is active and i want to do the same if the application is not active.
In WP8.0 it isn't possible as your TransferStatusChanged is in your App process which is stopped when you navigate away from it:
When the user navigates forward, away from an app, after the Deactivated event is raised, the operating system will attempt to put the app into a dormant state. In this state, all of the application’s threads are stopped and no processing takes place, but the application remains intact in memory.
You can make it work under LockScreen by disabling IdleDetection but it won't work when your App is put into dormant/tombstoned state.
You may consider to start playing when you activate the App or put some logic in BAP where you can check for example upon TrackChange if the file was downloaded and then play it.
edit
thanks to #Romasz suggestion of use empty track to play while the file complete downloading
then in TrackChange i check if the file downloaded and remove it from the download queue -this can be done in the audio background- things work fine now. here is some code
private AudioTrack GetNextTrack(bool isStart = false)
{

Receive data from arduino through bluetooth in windows phone 8

i found this example(https://developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Windows_Phone_8_communicating_with_Arduino_using_Bluetooth) in my research to develop a bluetooth console to windows phone 8. This example work very well, except for the TERMINATE function. When i call TERMINATE function, the ReceiveMessages function still trying receive data, but there is no more socket available and it generate a system.exception. I tried a lot of workaround, but i dont have enough experience with C#, this is my first APP. Anyone know how can i workaround this situation or have a better example?
i did only 1 modificiation:
private async void AppToDevice()
{
if (!connected)
{
ConnectAppToDeviceButton.Content = "Connecting...";
PeerFinder.AlternateIdentities["Bluetooth:Paired"] = "";
var pairedDevices = await PeerFinder.FindAllPeersAsync();
if (pairedDevices.Count == 0)
{
Debug.WriteLine("No paired devices were found.");
}
else
{
foreach (var pairedDevice in pairedDevices)
{
if (pairedDevice.DisplayName == DeviceName.Text)
{
connectionManager.Connect(pairedDevice.HostName);
ConnectAppToDeviceButton.Content = "Disconnect";
DeviceName.IsReadOnly = true;
//ConnectAppToDeviceButton.IsEnabled = false;
continue;
}
}
}
}
else
{
connectionManager.Terminate();
ConnectAppToDeviceButton.Content = "Connect";
}
}
I found a solution here:
WinRT: DataReader.LoadAsync Exception with StreamSocket TCP
I did only a few modifications:

taskLoadLength.Close();
taskLoadMessage.Cancel();
taskLoadMessage.Close();
socket.Dispose();
dataReadWorker.CancelAsync();
dataReader.Dispose();
dataWriter.Dispose();
isInicialized = false;
}
}
catch (Exception e)
{
MessageBox.Show(e.Message);
}
}
private void ReceiveMessages(object sender, DoWorkEventArgs ev)
{
while (true)
{
try
{
// Read first byte (length of the subsequent message, 255 or less).
//uint sizeFieldCount = await dataReader.LoadAsync(1);
taskLoadLength = dataReader.LoadAsync(1);
taskLoadLength.AsTask().Wait();
uint sizeFieldCount = taskLoadLength.GetResults();
if (sizeFieldCount != 1)
{
// The underlying socket was closed before we were able to read the whole data.
return;
}
// Read the message.
uint messageLength = dataReader.ReadByte();
taskLoadMessage = dataReader.LoadAsync(messageLength);
taskLoadMessage.AsTask().Wait();
uint actualMessageLength = taskLoadMessage.GetResults();
//uint actualMessageLength = await dataReader.LoadAsync(messageLength);
if (messageLength != actualMessageLength)
{
// The underlying socket was closed before we were able to read the whole data.
return;
}
// Read the message and process it.
string message = dataReader.ReadString(actualMessageLength);
MessageReceived(message);
}
catch (AggregateException ae)
{
MessageBox.Show(ae.Message);
}
catch (Exception e)
{
MessageBox.Show(e.Message);
}
}
}
