I am trying to integrate SoapUI into my preexisting JUnit tests. I have created a test in SoapUI 3.6.1. It works.
My next step is to apply it to my development environment. In my Eclipse project I have added the jar to my classpath. I also created the following test.
public class TestMySoapUICase
{
#Test
public void testCase() throws Exception
{
SoapUITestCaseRunner runner = new SoapUITestCaseRunner();
runner.setProjectFile( "test/java/com/path/Test-soapui-project.xml" );
runner.run();
}
}
This test seems pretty trivial, but I am getting the following exception when running the test as a JUnit test:

It seems there are other people out there who have had this issue when running the application. Their solution was to set JAVA_HOME to point at jre6 instead of jre5. I tried this (not expecting it to work) and, well, was correct; it change nothing.
Does anybody out there have a solution to this issue?
Add soapui_folder/lib (where so soapui_folder - path to directory with unpacked soapui app) to classpath of your project and you set to go!
WBR
you need to add the commons-cli-1.2.jar file in this project after you also need to add the log4j 1.2.jar

have two main questions.
1.how to pass the CommandLine arguments.
2.how to run unit test without running a spring boot server.
once annotation with
#SpringApplicationConfiguration(classes = { ApplicationBootstrap.class,}
cannot pass CommandLine param.
I'm not sure about the source of your error there, but I might be able to help a little with your questions.
1.
This question provides a solution for you: Pass command line arguments to JUnit test case being run programmatically
Basically, you can use System.setProperty(String name, String value) to set arguments in #Before or #BeforeClass.
2.
I'm a bit more sketchy on this, but to my knowledge Spring creates/destroys this automagically for you. If you have a choice in the matter, I have not found it as yet.
I've been dealing with this problem for couple of days now and I can't get around to solve it. The working setup that I need is: two separate databases, one for JUnit testing and the other for the pure application access purposes.
I've been using MySQL for the the application part, since I need the full control and support and the other database that I am considering is Derby or H2 since the speed is essential here.
Okay, the MySQL database is working as it should, the JUnit tests are 100% success when I run them through
and there are no problems there. However, when I try to configure my project with the second database, the
problems arise. I've been searching for answers and I found the following setup when adding additional database to your spring-roo project:
Additional ApplicationContext that I've put in: src/test/resources/META-INF/spring/ and named as: applicationContextTest.xml
As well as additional ApplicationContextSecurity file that I've created in the same folder and named applicationContext-securityTest.xml
Necessary changes in pom.xml, persistence.xml and web.xml files
And also I've configured #ApplicationContext in JUnit test class to use appropriate files
Also separate database_test.properties located in the same folder as mentioned above
The exception that I am constantly getting is that the EntityManager has not been injected. I know this is a scarce information to work on, but I just want to get few opinions before, lets say, posting the whole code and the files that go along so that you people can see if I have made some silly mistakes(which at this point I am sure I haven't) or that I am missing some additional changes that need to be made.
The configuration I am using is: latest spring roo, maven and eclipse 4.2.2
Here is the stack trace that I get for the exception:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Entity manager has not been injected (is the Spring Aspects JAR configured as an AJC/AJDT aspects library?)

I have experienced this problem before.
I have written a blog article on how to achieve this setup:
www.solubris.com/blog/overriding_spring_context_for_testing
I had this problem when the environment in which I executed the roo project could not load AspectJ for some reason.
Specifically, it occurred to me when:
The pom.xml in eclipse give errors on the aspectj dependencies (M2E plugin execution not covered error). Solution was to do a quick fix on the error, ignore plugin goal, then set it as execute on preferences, as explained here http://wiki.eclipse.org/M2E_plugin_execution_not_covered.
I was running the Roo project on Jetty version 8. Solution was to switch to version 9.
It maybe not your case but I hope will help others!
I have created a small game using Slick 2D and the LWJGL. When testing the program in Eclipse, everything works fine. As soon as I try to run my exported jar I get this message in the terminal:

I am really not sure what to do. Any help?
Use JarSplice :)
You just show it where to find the native files, the LWJGL and Slick JARs, and the JAR you create with eclipse.

Are you running Selenium IDE or RC?
If Selenium RC, then I have noticed this kind of exception when the instance is not correctly created e.g. you need:
selenium = new DefaultSelenium ( ... )
selenium.start ();
selenium.open ( ... )
I've notice that this exception is thrown when selenium client tries to execute actions against a Selenium RC which browser have been closed.
Selenium RC assigns a session ID for each client as you can see in this excellent post: http://www.touspassagers.com/2010/11/exposing-the-selenium-browser-session-id/
Cheers, Daniel
Run this script in browser
http://localhost:4444/selenium-server/driver/?cmd=shutDownSeleniumServer
Actually selenium RC takes port: 4444 as default. Sometime program gets interrupted before executing tearDown(or closing the port).
That errors comes if the selenium server is not started. You have to start server.
And then execute the statement selenium.start();.
I'm not that new to Java. I've done plenty of stuff with it before. But I'm migrating from PHP to Java Servlet/JSP (which I am new to) and I can't figure out this error to save my life. I installed Tomcat6 using Ubuntu 9.04's Synaptic Package Manager and it works like a charm. But when I put struts in my WEB-INF/lib directory and try to make a struts app, I get the below in the log file.
I used the struts-blank.war to start the project, so the web.xml is the same as provided in struts 2.1.8.1.
It appears that there is some issue with reading the struts-default.xml file.
Thanks in advance

I had a brain storm and figured this out myself. Although I don't think this is the most secure solution, but it works for my purposes and I'm not that concerned because it's a local dev server that only listens on the loopback interface (127.0.0.1).
Anyway, the solution is to add this to the bottom of /etc/tomcat6/policy.d/50local.policy
grant codeBase "file:${catalina.base}/webapps/-" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
};
