I followed the guide on azerothcore.org to install the server. When I launch the authserver.exe and worldserver.exe, everything seems to work fine. I can see in MySQL Workbench that acore is connecting to the database. When I open a client that the realmlist is set to 127.0.0.1 and enter my credentials that were created via worldserver, I get the message:
You have been disconnected from the server
I can display the config files if requested, the database was set up following the guide as well.
I've included both the server.log and the auth.log

I've reviewed the guide as well as the config files, to see if I missed anything. I've recreated the database and ensured that the .exe's were connecting to MySQL. Upon logging in, I get the disconnected message. Where do I go from here?
Are you connecting from a client on the same machine as the server?
If not, please check the networking section of the wiki. You need to set your machine's IP in the realmlist table. Otherwise the authserver will tell the client to pass the connection to 127.0.0.1, which is 'localhost'. And localhost is obviously different on another computer.
Ensure your realmlist.wtf file has the set portal set to your ip of the server location
try restarting your PC.
if its not fixed maybe you have problem on your firewall or network it self. try resetting your network from: setting > network & internet > advanced network settings > Network reset

I have a partitioned dataset stored on internal S3 cloud. I am reading the dataset with pyarrow table

So I instead of pyarrow.dataset, i tried using pyarrow.parquet
Only part of my code that changed is

and when i tried the code again, the performance was much better

While i am happy with the better performance, it still feels confusing as under the hood, by setting use_legacy_dataset = False, the program should have similar outcomes

I have a small vb.net app that creates DXF files from scratch, containing polylines and some text objects. It is working as intented and does its job at the moment, making use of some "minimum dxf requirements" info I found online.
As an upgrade for the app, I have decided to add some xdata on the polylines and that's where I am having some trouble.
I have added the following lines inside the polyline definition in ENTITIES section:

And also created a table section for the appid as follows:

My dxf files aren't loading and give the "Invalid application" error. What must I do to add this xdata with minimum addition to my normal dxf routine?

What's missing is the max table count tag (70, count) after the table type definition tag (2, APPID), the following table entries start with a (0, APPID) tag. (Solution for DXF R12)

I am performing a number of trace routes to different IP's throughout the course of 1 week. Ive got a script that performs a set of trace routes and writes and appends them to the same .log file.
This file is obviously now quite large as I'm performing trace route 3 times a day on 6 targets for a week. Im trying to write a simple program that will convert my log files into CSV format for analysis in Excel.
Before each trace route runs it prints ''--- START ---'' and finishes with ''--- END ---''. See the following example:

I was going to use the START and END to delimit and separate each trace route from one another. I also need to take the total number of jumps that each trace routes makes, that being the last number on the line before ''--- END ---".
If anyone could help me out it would be great. I need something that will run through each trace route, separating them. And then showing the number of hops each trace route makes... Im currently using MATLAB.

The best way to solve your problem is using regex. Just find those start and end tags and for each match make the necessary processing :)
I'm currently developing an practice application in node.js. This applications consists of a JSON REST web service which allows two services.
Insert log (a PUT request to /log, with the message to log)
Last 100 logs (a GET request to /log, that returns the latest 100 logs)
The current stack is formed by a node.js server that has the application logic and a mongodb database that takes care of the persistence. To offer the JSON REST web services I'm using the node-restify module.
I'm currently executing some stress tests using apache bench (using 5000 requests with a concurrency of 10) and get the following results:
Execute stress tests
1) Insert log
Requests per second: 754.80 [#/sec] (mean)
2) Last 100 logs
Requests per second: 110.37 [#/sec] (mean)
I'm surprised of the difference there is in performance, the query I'm executing uses an index. Interestingly enough it seems that the JSON output generation seems to get all the time on deeper tests I have performed.
Can node applications be profiled in detail?
Is this behaviour normal? Retrieving data takes so much more than inserting data?

To query the database I use the mongoosejs module. The log schema is defined as:

Can node applications be profiled in detail?
Yes. Use node --prof app.js to create a v8.log, then use linux-tick-processor, mac-tick-processor or windows-tick-processor.bat (in deps/v8/tools in the node src directory) to interpret the log. You have to build d8 in deps/v8 to be able to run the tick processor.
Here's how I do it on my machine:

There are also a few tools to make this easier, including node-profiler and v8-profiler (with node-inspector).
Regarding your other question, I would like some more information on how you fetch your data from Mongo, and what the data looks like (I agree with beny23 that it looks like a suspiciously low amount of data).
I strongly suggest taking a look at the DTrace support of Restify. It will likely become your best friend when profiling.

How could a platform independent touch be achieved, without using the actual touch executable? I cannot rely on touch being in PATH, or even existing on a particular system.
Create an empty file and copy the original file + the empty file back to the original file. I just tested it on Windows and it worked.

touch is a pretty simple program. You could easily extract the essential steps and implement them as a subroutine in your system. See the source code.
touch depends on utime(), which is POSIX and should be available on most platforms.
Alternatively, you could just provide your own touch implementation as an executable (if you need to call it from a script).
