Having problem positioning span to be in line with text - html

Here is the image , and the image with dev tools The problem is That I can't position it to be in the same line as text left and right of it, Here is the code, and disclamer it's VERY MESSY
<p class="lead posebne-ocene d-block d-sm-flex"><span class="kvalitet-usluga"></span>
Kvalitet Usluge
<span>
<span class="bar" style="background-color: #CBE8DA;"></span>
<span class="mala-ocena">20</span>
</span>
</p>
"d-block" and :d-sm-flex" and "lead" is from bootstrap
Here is the CSS:
.bar {
display: inline-block;
width: 350px;
/* margin-top: 2px;
margin-right: 10px; */
height: 20px;
}
.posebne-ocene {
display: flex;
position: relative;
text-align: left;
padding-left: 110px;
justify-content: space-between;
}
.kvalitet-usluga {
display: block;
width: 30px;
height: 30px;
position: absolute;
left: 70px;
background-position: center;
background-image: url('../slike/Ikonice/kvalitetUsluga.svg');
border-radius: 20px;
}
I tried adding
align-self: baseline;
to the ".bar" and playing around with margins and padding but no luck

Add a class name to your outer span which wraps the two other span elements and also use flexbox and align-items: center;. I added an example below:
.bar {
display: inline-block;
width: 350px;
/* margin-top: 2px;
margin-right: 10px; */
height: 20px;
}
.posebne-ocene {
display: flex;
position: relative;
text-align: left;
justify-content: space-between;
align-items: center;
flex-direction: row;
}
.wrapper {
display: flex;
align-items:center;
}
<p class="lead posebne-ocene d-block d-sm-flex">
<span class="kvalitet-usluga"></span>
Kvalitet Usluge
<span class="wrapper">
<span class="bar" style="background-color: #CBE8DA;"></span>
<span class="mala-ocena">20</span>
</span>
</p>

How to align button right in a flex container?

I don't know how to float my button right and I hope someone can help me out here.
The yellow color shows the background of the div. The width of the div is set to 50%.
.faq {
width: 100%;
padding: 12px 20px;

What am I doing wrong?
Floats do not work in a flex container
Use align-self:flex-end instead

margin-top: 30px;

Floats do not work with flex.
There are two approaches that you can take here.
Approach #1:
Use align-self: flex-end on the button. This would make the button appear in the rightmost corner of your parent.
Approach #2:
In case you want more control over the position of the button in terms of alignment with the text area, you can wrap the button in a div and keep the float right on the button.
HTML
<div class="button-wrapper">
<button class="save" mat-raised-button color="primary">Primary</button>
</div>
CSS
.button-wrapper {
width: 50%; /* same as the width of your input*/
}

Using align-items with wkhtmltopdf

I'm using wkhtmltopdf to convert a HTML to PDF. I know wkhtmltopdf uses an old version of webkit, which makes things a little more complicated.
I have a contact image and I want to display the contact name right next to it:
Image: How it's supposed to look
This is my HTML:
<div class="contact">
<img src="C:/mypath/picture.jpg">
<span>Contact Name</span>
</div>
CSS:
div.contact {
display: -webkit-flex;
flex-direction: row;
justify-content: left;
}
div.contact>img {
width: 70px;
border-radius: 50%;
margin-right: 20px;
}
div.contact>span {
display: inline-block;
width: 110px;
}
Doesn't work so far. Applying align-items: center; to div.contact doesn't work either.
I think I found your solution. Actually align-self is working but .contact height is not big enough to cover viewport. So I wrote this; I hope it's enough for you.
For HTML
<div class="contact">
<div class="contact-box">
<img src="C:/mypath/picture.jpg">
<span>Contact Name</span>
</div>
</div>
And for CSS
body {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-color: #000000;
}
.contact {
display: flex;
display: -webkit-flex;
flex-direction: row;
justify-content: center;
align-items: center;
width: 100%;
min-height: 100vh;
margin: auto;
}
.contact-box {
background-color: white;
padding: 10px;
}
.contact img {
align-self: center;
justify-self: center;
width: 70px;
border-radius: 50%;
margin-right: 20px;
}
.contact span {
align-self: center;
justify-self: center;
width: 110px;
}

images and buttons are not horizontally aligned

I have met some problems while doing a image-viewer project. The problem is that my buttons and the image are not following justify-content property, which they don't distributed equally inside my div block, how could it be solved? Also the image is not centered as the title does despite I set the align item property. I dow know how to fix that. I've searched over the website for solutions but none of them seems working.
Could anyone help me, please? Thanks in advance.
Here are the html and css code:

object-fit: contain;
width: 50rem;
height: 30rem;
margin-bottom: 1rem;
}
#source {
display: inline;
color: black;
}
This is because you've set a fixed width to your image. By setting the main image to 100% the image will fit and fill up the remaining space so the 3 elements are always distributed equally.
main image size = full width - both your arrows
current
#display {
object-fit: contain;
width: 50rem; /*fixed width*/
height: 30rem; /*fixed width*/
margin-bottom: 1rem;
}
amended
#display {
margin-bottom: 1rem;
width: 100%; /*was added*/
height: auto; /*was added*/
}

My svg outline is not exactly on the svg edges

I'd like my sizing and placments to be very clean.
My SVG outline is not exactly on it's edges. I can't put it in the place I want.
<div id="ticket-container">
<div id="ticket">
<object data="ticket.svg" type="image/svg+xml" id="ticket">
x
</object>
</div>
</div>`
#ticket-container{
width: 50%;
height: 100%;
display: inline-block ;
float: right;
box-sizing: border-box ;
padding-bottom: 11px;
position: relative;
display: flex;
align-items: center;
justify-content: flex-end;
color: whitesmoke !important;
}
#ticket{
background-color: #e00808;
width: 30%;
height: 45%;

How to align h2 within a nested div?

I'm trying to align the text within my h2 element. I would like it to be centered vertically within the div. I'm working in .NET MVC
My html: (this is the only part giving me trouble)
Specifically:
.banner-side-container {
height: 240px;
width: 180px;
vertical-align: middle;
}
.banner-side-container h2 {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
text-align: center;
}
.view-teams-banner {
margin-top: 10px;
height: 110px;
width: 180px;
background-color: aqua;
border-radius: 20px;
}
.view-matches-banner {
margin-top: 10px;
height: 110px;
width: 180px;
background-color: darkorchid;
border-radius: 20px;
}
<td>
<div class="banner-side-container">
<div class="view-teams-banner">
<h2>View Teams</h2>
</div>
<div class="view-matches-banner">
<h2>View Matches</h2>
</div>
</div>
</td>
I've tried adding vertical-align: middle; to all 4 selectors with no success.
Further info: the text-align: center; worked perfectly.
You can use flex and add the following settings to the three elements wrapping the h2s and their parent elements as follows:
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
justify-content: center;
.banner-side-container {
height: 240px;
width: 180px;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
justify-content: center;
}
.banner-side-container h2 {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
text-align: center;
}
.view-teams-banner {
margin-top: 10px;
height: 110px;
width: 180px;
background-color: aqua;
border-radius: 20px;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
justify-content: center;
}
.view-matches-banner {
margin-top: 10px;
height: 110px;
width: 180px;
background-color: darkorchid;
border-radius: 20px;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
justify-content: center;
}
<td>
<div class="banner-side-container">
<div class="view-teams-banner">
<h2>View Teams</h2>
</div>
<div class="view-matches-banner">
<h2>View Matches</h2>
</div>
</div>
</td>
