3D Animation out of html files using Plotly - html

I am using Plotly with Python 3.11 in order to create some html files that contain a 3D animation of a surface and a set of points.
Since it is important to me to see the geometric relation between this set of points and the surface, having that picture as an html file instead of a static format is of great value to me, because I can move around the image to see better how those points relate to the surface.
Now, those points I was talking about are particles in motion: they have a trajectory, therefore I can capture an html of the situation at every time, but as in separate html files. In that sense, I would find extremely useful to create an animation out of those html, so that I can decide when to stop the motion to see the position in case something interesting happens.
Does anyone know if such a thing would be possible to do? I have been searching around and the most information that I get is for "static" animations, meaning that I cannot "move" in a given frame.

Drawing shapes versus rendering images?

I am using Pygame 1.9.2a with Python 2.7 for designing an experiment and have been so far using Pygame only on a need basis and am not familiar with all Pygame classes or concepts (Sprites, for instance, I have no idea about).
I am required to draw many (45 - 50 at one time) shapes on the screen at different locations to create a crowded display. The shapes vary from displaced Ts , displaced Ls to line intersections. [ Like _| or † or ‡ etc.]! I'm sorry that I am not able to post an image of this because I apparently do not have a reputation of 10, which is necessary to post images.
I also need these shapes in 8 different orientations. I was initially contemplating generating point lists and using these to draw lines. But, for a single shape, I will need four points and I need 50 of these shapes. Again, I'm not sure how to rotate these once drawn. Can I use the Pygame Transform or something? I think they can be used, say on Rects. Or will I have to generate points for the different orientations too, so that when drawn, they come out looking rotated, that is, in the desired orientation?
The alternative I was thinking of was to generate images for the shapes in GIMP or some software like that. But, for any screen, I will have to load around 50 images. Will I have to use Pygame Image and make 50 calls for something like this? Or is there an easier way to handle multiple images?
Also, which method would be a bigger hit to performance? Since, it is an experiment, I am worried about timing precision too. I don't know if there is a different way to generate shapes in Pygame. Please help me decide which of these two (or a different method) is better to use for my purposes.

It is easer to use pygame.draw.rect() or pygame.draw.polygon() (because you don't need to know how to use GIMP or InkScape :) ) but you have to draw it on another pygame.Surface() (to get bitmap) and than you can rotate it, add alpha (to make transparet) and than you can put it on screen.
You can create function to generate images (using Surface()) with all shapes in different orientations at program start. If you will need better looking images you can change function to load images created in GIMP.
Try every method on your own - this is the best method to check which one is good for you.
By the way: you can save generated images pygame.image.save() and then load it. You can have all elements on one image and use part of image Surface.get_clip()

Hyper-linking moving objects within an image?

I want to know if it is possible to create an image with hyper-links inside, such as one would make for a HTML image-map but with the hyper-linked objects actively moving around within the boundaries of the 'image-map'?
For instance i may want a few click-able hyperlinked squares that fly around within a circle. I'm basically looking to create entertainment/amusing difficulty for someone trying to navigate to the other pages of my website from the homepage; a very dynamic menu you could say.
Would it be possible to plot co-ordinated routes for the objects [that don't clash] and then instead of defining individual static co-ordinates as the locations, input the co-ordinate route? Haven't a clue what language/script this would be done with [if it can be], preferably one that ain't too hard to learn and is supported by modern-browsers. Only know basic/intermediate HTML 4.01 and CSS/3 at the moment.

Depth map (2d+z) algorithm or software

I'm searching for Depth map algorithm for action scrip 3 (or some other language).
My goal is to generate depth map for static image on run time.
I have fount this example http://kode80.com/2009/06/29/papervision-zbuffer-and-dof/, i didn't have the time to investigate it's code but i have the filling its working only with 3d models.
Worst viable option is server side technology that does the work.
Extended description:
I have a task to develop flash application where 3d rotation of a head is simulated by a 2d image uploaded by the user.
There are some japan guys that have managed to do that (http://hairtry.jp/), but the technology that they are using is server side. It generates swf fail with precisely coped eyes and image for the depth map of the uploaded picture. I can't find out what is the sever side technology that they are using so I'm searching for any posible workarounds.

your easiest solution would be to use a 3d engine, Paper vision seems to be getting out dated, theres a lot of documents on how to use, and tutorials but again not much has been happening with them lately. i suggest Away3d "www.away3d.com" they seem up to date.
for what your asking it is possible to do this 100% in flash but to create a 3d head at runtime and fill the face with hieght maps this is possible, you would need to look at bitmap manipulation.i dont think this is an easy task, what you should learn first is how to add an image to a spheric surface dynamically than look into height mapping by converting certain coulours from the image into different levels of depth i must say im sure this is advanced stuff, i manged to animate a globe that was this same method it looks dodgy but it gives you some source code in the FLA

HTML Canvas: Saving a graphic element to be modified later by other users

I would like to face a problem for which I haven't seen a solution looking around in Internet. This is: I need to save the elements drawn by WEB users on a canvas space not as a flat image, but each one singularly. This in order to let the same user, or even other users, to modify every single element (drag-and-drop, erase, erase partially, ecc.) in a second moment. This should also help to eventually save a drawing history and restore it in next working sessions. All the examples I found were intended to save just a canvas flat image.

To better clarify: not necessary as layers, but for sure I thought to realize several different driving tools; a drawing element is the singular application/istance of a tool: a circle, a box, a added image, a straight line or even a free hand drawing that start from the moment of right button mouse click till it is released. Then the chance to save the elements state allowing to modify each one in a second moment.
You can't do this natively with canvas. You should look at using a third party library. Fabric is a library that was built to do what you want.
The base idea was to use convans as a container for vectorial shapes (triangles, squares, cirlces, etc.), manual drawn figures (see example http://www.williammalone.com/articles/create-html5-canvas-javascript-drawing-app/) and inserted images giving the chance to users to save/upload the content not as serialized image, but with each distinguished element in its original format in order to continue to work on them in a future work session.

Howto dynamically render space background in actionscript3?

I'm creating a space game in actionscript/flex 3 (flash). The world is infinitely big, because there are no maps. For this to work I need to dynamically (programatically) render the background, which has to look like open space.
To make the world feel real and to make certain places look different than others, I must be able to add filters such as colour differences and maybe even a misty kind of transformation - these would then be randomly added and changed.
The player is able to "scroll" the "map" by flying to the sides of the screen, so that a certain part of the world is only visible at once but the player is able to go anywhere. The scrolling works by moving all objects except for the player in the opposite direction, making it look like it was the player that moved into that direction. The background also needs to be moved, but has to be different on the new discovered terrain (dynamically created).
Now my question is how I would do something like this, what kind of things do I need to use and how do I implement them? Performance also needs to be taken into account, as many more objects will be in the game.
You should only have views for objects that are within the visible area. You might want to use a quad tree for that.
The background should maybe be composed of a set of tiles, that you can repeat more or less randomly (do you really need a background, actually? wouldn't having some particles be enough?). Use the same technique here you use for the objects.
So in the end, you wind up having a model for objects and tiles or particles (that you would generate in the beginning). This way, you will only add a few floats (you can achieve additional performance, if you do not calculate positions of objects, that are FAR away. The quad tree should help you with that, but I think this shouldn't be necessary) If an object having a view leaves the stage, free the view, and use the quad tree to check, if new objects appear.
If you use a lot of objects/particles, consider using an object pool. If objects only move, and are not rotated/scaled, consider using DisplayObject::cacheAsBitmap.
