API call for download a file which is csv is giving good repsonse in Tree listeners. I have save the downloaded file using save response to a file listener using prefix with name.csv.
But on chcing in bin folder of jemter the same csv seems to be 0 bytes. whereas in tree listeners i can see repsone.
what should i do to get the same data in csv file too.

Most probably you're looking at the wrong file. If you want the result to be saved as CTCbreakup.csv you need to use the following configuration of the Save Responses to a file listener:
Default configuration will give you something like CTCBreakup.csv1.octet-stream

I am trying to write a JSON file into my AWS S3 bucket. However, I do not get a JSON file after it has been uploaded.
I get my data from a website using a request.get() and format it into a JSON file which I then run the following script to upload it to me S3 bucket.

s3_client.put_object(
Body=json.dumps(data, indent=3),

However, I am not sure what the type of file is but it is supposed to be saved as a JSON file.

When I open the file by selecting Pycharm, it is just a dictionary with key and values
Solved it, I simply added ".JSON" to the filename and it has solved the file formatting issue. Dont know why I didnt think of this earlier.

Ideally you shouldn't rely of file extensions to specify the content type. The put_object method supports specifying ContentType. This means that you can use any file name you like, without needing to specify .json.
e.g.
s3_client.put_object(
Body=json.dumps(data, indent=3),
Bucket='bucket-name',
Key=fileName,
ContentType='application/json'
)
I exported a session from Fiddler to saz files.
This session includes only jpg files and I'm wondering - how can I extract the jpg files from saz quickly and easily?

The easiest way to extract the JPEG files is to use Fiddler itself. Fiddler allows you to load a SAZ file (under File/Load Archive..).
Once loaded, just right-click on the HTTP message with the JPEG and select Save/Response/Response Body....
If you want to do it the hard way, a SAZ file is just a zip file. Below is from the Fiddler FAQ page
SAZ files are simply specially formatted .ZIP files. If you rename a
.SAZ file to .ZIP, you can open it for viewing using standard ZIP
viewing tools.
According to the FAQ, the HTTP payload data is stored in a directory called raw. The JPEG data will be in one of the sessid#_s.txt files, but embedded in a HTTP response message. Strip the HTTP headers to get the JPEG (assuming there is no extra encoding in the HTTP message).

Fiddler now requires a password to work, and I'm not willing to register.
First, I create a folder and put the .saz file inside
Second, I change to that directory and use unzip to extract the files because a saz file is a standard archive
Third, I open _index.htm with any browser and click the links in the index file

I have a directory with CSV files. each file contains a list of GET requests I'd like to make with JMeter. What I'd like to do is read all the files in a directory, and then loop through each CSV to send the requests in JMeter. The number of files isn't consistent so I don't want to hard code the file names into CSV samplers.
So in effect I'd like to read all the files in the directory and store the files in an array variable. The loop through the array and send the CSV file to the CSV sampler which will in turn read the CSV file and pass the content to an HTTP Request sampler to send the GET requests.
I created a beanshell script to read the files in the directory and store them in an array, but when I try to pass this to the CSV config element, I get errors stating the variable doesn't exist.
I've tried another beanshell script to read the file and pass the lines to an HTTP request Sampler as a variable, but the issue was, it would store all the file contents in memory per thread.
I'd like to know the best approach to read the files, send the requests and use the response data to generate reports
You will not be able to populate CSV Data Set config using Beanshell as CSV Data Set Config is a Configuration Element and according to Execution Order user manual chapter Configuration Elements are executed before anything else.
Since JMeter 3.1 you should not be using Beanshell, it is recommended to switch to JSR223 Elements and Groovy language
I would recommend going for Directory Listing Config plugin, it scans the provided folder (in your case with CSV files) and stores the found paths to files into a JMeter variable
So you can use the Directory Listing Config in combination with __StringFromFile() or __CSVRead() functions and that should be more or less good way of implementing your requirements.
I am executing one Thread Group which have multiple Http Request. And I am capturing the Error result into a CSV file using Simple Data Writer. But unable to add the response data to the same file. Can you guys please let me know how I can add the response data to this CSV file or is there any other way that we can use for this purpose?
Use simple data writer but change the option to produce XML. Remove CSV and select "Save as XML". There is a option to "Save Response Data(XML)" that is what you require as shown below.
Put the result file output format as ".jtl" and open it in the Excel to see the results.
You don't even need to Simple Data Writer for this, it can be done by amending JMeter Results File Configuration:
Add the next lines to user.properties file (lives in "bin" folder of your JMeter installation)
jmeter.save.saveservice.output_format=xml
jmeter.save.saveservice.response_data.on_error=true
Restart JMeter to pick the properties up
Next time when you run JMeter in command-line non-GUI mode like
jmeter -n -t test.jmx -l result.jtl
response data for failed samplers will be added to the results.jtl file, you will be able to inspect it using either View Results Tree listener or your favorite text/XML viewer/editor.
In my JMeter test, I have a Loop Controller nested inside a few other modules with contains a CSV Data Set Config. I also have a CSV Data Set Config in the top of my Thread Group that reads from a CSV to get a file location. I was to use this file location in the nested CSV Data Set Confing to grab the CSV from that location and loop through that one. An error is being thrown because all the CSV files are loaded at once, in the beginning of the test. Is there a way to delay the loading of a CSV so that I can ensure the file path variable has already been set?
You will not be able to use CSV Data Set Config the way you describe. All the config elements get loaded before the test begins.
You can use Beanshell Pre/Post Processor/Sampler.
I had a requirement to load csv file in CSV Data set config of my JMeter script- Name of the csv file can be anything. I run my script with ANT. So i get the name from ANT and pass it to JMeter via a property. CSV data set config uses the property to load the CSV. Thought of sharing this as It might help you as I am not sure of your exact requirement.
