The fact that the error says it wants to cast to org.apache.kafka.connect.data.Struct, then you need schemas as part of that data, not plain JSON.
Therefore, you can either
producer Avro data to the topic, and use the AvroConverter
update your producer to use {"schema": ..., "payload": ... } formatted JSON with value.converter.schemas.enable=true
find another InfluxDB sink that does support plain JSON.

We have migrated our servers to Cloud (AWS). We are using SSRS 2008R2. We are facing an issue while opening few attachments in the reports ( not all the attachments ).
We get the following error :

How to see my application's exception in hdinsight

How to see my application's exception in hdinsight?
I created an hadoop stream job, when I run my job, it fails with
Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: PipeMapRed.waitOutputThreads(): subprocess failed with code 255
at org.apache.hadoop.streaming.PipeMapRed.waitOutputThreads(PipeMapRed.java:320)

at org.apache.hadoop.security.UserGroupInformation.doAs(UserGroupInformation.java:1594)
at org.apache.hadoop.mapred.YarnChild.main(YarnChild.java:163)
As far as I know, this is because my code has some bug and throws an exception out and then crash, how can I get the exception infomation? Is there a application log or something for hdinsight?
RDP to the head node (you will have to enable remote to the hdinsight cluster) and click on the yarn UI shortcut on the desktop. This will show the task logs.

This error is because of your JDBC driver was not in your class path..
Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");
Basically you are trying to create an object of a class which is not loaded into JVM...Solution is place your JDBC driver jar into your class path.
Cheers!
Try place the mysql-connector-java-5.1.27-bin.jar
in your webapp's /web-inf/lib directory
and then, restart or redeploy
