I'm trying to allow users to add an Adblock Whitelist via a Chrome extension. To allow this there is the API like such:
1) Add The Ebates WhiteList
However if I add that link to a Chrome extension popup window the link doesn't go anywhere. My guess is that the Chrome extension execution context isn't aware of Adblock/able to support that API. Is anyone who is more of an extension wizard than myself able to verify that I'm correct in my assumption and that there is no workaround? Thanks!
I have a gmail extension.
Now i want to also have a gmail addon for that.
Is there a way I can convert my gmail extension to a gmail addon.
Is there a guide for that. Please guide me.
What plugin or settings to use in google chrome to prevent follow by any location header? Can't find any information about that.
I found extension for Chrome - "Tamper chrome". It allows to edit response headers.
When I start Postman I see the icon appear in the Dock and in the Force Quit window, and I can click on the icon in the dock and Postman appears in the menu bar, with the single option "Quit Postman." So it's running, but the window doesn't appear. This morning I upgraded Chrome to 55.0.2883.95, Chromium to 58.0.2991.0, and Chrome Canary is at 58.0.2990.0.
Is there a way to switch Postman from Chrome to Chromium or Chrome Canary (i.e., to test Postman with different builds)? Or to revert Chrome to any older build? Or any other ideas to get Postman working?
The chrome addon for Postman will be depricated soon.
There are now fully functional standalone apps for Windows/Mac/Linux here. They work just as well as the Chrome addon and even have some additional features. I would suggest moving to the standalone apps.
In Chrome I googled "Postman," which took me to the Chrome App store, and the Postman page has a green button for "Launch App Now." That worked!
try disable and then enable the extension.
It worked for me.
Sometimes google chrome doesn't load it properly.
I had a nearly similar problem, where Chrome postman app (extension) fails to post/get/etc. It was unable to access the internet for some reason. After trying many solutions, it seems that the javascript setting in Chrome was causing it. You need to enable javascript in Chrome, restart Chrome, then the postman app will work.
I'm trying to get to my router's admin console using Google Chrome but when I type the URL for it Chrome redirects to this page:
The image says "404 Not Found" and the redirected URL is: ".../cgi-bin/check_hijack.html"
I've tried clearing all my history attached to a 192.168.X.X URL, deleting all my saved passwords for those admin pages and IP addresses but none has worked so far.
I'm using a Mac and the interesting part is I can get to my router's admin console via Safari or Firefox but Google Chrome just won't work.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help.
Which router do you have?
Try to use google chrome in anonymous window.
You can check if same protocol is used in the browsers ( it's the part in front of visible url - it is hidden in chrome (http, https, .... You can see it when you cpy-paste the url)
