Extract JSON Data From ThingSpeak API - html

so i want to get the value from one oof my fields in my thingspeak, i'm able to extract data from my channels but i want to get only one specific field
i read the documentation and the api link that looks like this
https://api.thingspeak.com/channels/<channel_id>/feeds.json?results=1
and when i opened the link it showed this
{"channel":{"id":1688112,"name":"ESP8266 - Web Controlled LED","latitude":"0.0","longitude":"0.0","field1":"Command","field2":"Red LED","field3":"Green LED","field4":"Blue Led","created_at":"2022-03-29T00:36:06Z","updated_at":"2022-04-06T03:12:36Z","last_entry_id":443},"feeds":[{"created_at":"2022-04-10T07:06:01Z","entry_id":443,"field1":null,"field2":"0","field3":"0","field4":"0"}]}
so my question is how do i extract the data for example from my field2 data where "field2":"0"?
i want to use it for my project in my html where later it can do some functions in my content.
thanks!

It really depends on the program you use.
But usually you find a JSON library to be installed in your IDE.
With it you extract any field from the JSON file

Autodesk design automation Revit , text file as input

The Revit API I developed, take a text file as input.
the text file looks like as below......
1.002, 20,502, 21.706
12.502, 5,502, 7.706
21.002, 15,502, 14.706
.....................
.....................
(The values are not correct.just imaginary. I am just showing how my text file looks like)
I am basically reading the text data as input.
Now if I want to convert the same API as Design automation API, I guess I will not be able to use "text file" as input.
My question is, what should be file type of input file, if it is consisted of 3d point coordinates as described above.
Should it be Json? If it need to be json, then how I should write it for point coordinates? or any other suggestion for file type will be a big help.
If there is any example code, will be a big help.
In the list for supported input file format, txt file is not included.
If I write a Json file, then please give me some clue, how should I arrange it and read the file for Revit.
Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for your query.
The slightly more complex question is how to generate multiple output files.
That is answered by the article
on How to generate dynamic number of output with Design Automation for Revit V3.
In passing, it also mentions multiple input files, saying:
"... For the zipped input file, it's well documented at https://forge.autodesk.com/en/docs/design-automation/v3/tutorials/revit/step6-post-workitem/, but for the output zipped result, it's not so clear..."
Trying to follow that link, I note that it is out of date.
The updated link is:
https://forge.autodesk.com/en/docs/design-automation/v3/tutorials/revit/step7-post-workitem/
Looking at the additional notes on input arguments, I see the instructions on how to pass JSON input data directly in the workitem itself.
I would assume that you can also use a different prefix instead of data:application/json such as data:application/text to pass in the data in its current form.
Please try that out and let us know how it works for you.
Alternatively, you can just stay on the safe side and convert your text data to JSON format.
There are innumerable ways of doing so.
The most minimalistic and simple would look like this:
[1.002, 20,502, 21.706,
12.502, 5,502, 7.706,
21.002, 15,502, 14.706,
...]
That represents on single array of doubles.
A slightly more structured approach might be to pass in an array of triples of doubles like this:
[[1.002, 20,502, 21.706],
[12.502, 5,502, 7.706],
[21.002, 15,502, 14.706],
...]
As you see, it is not hard.
I hope this helps.

How do I use Pentaho spoon to push data from MySQL database to facebook webpage

1) I have already made transformation mapping for getting data from specific MySQL (Table Input) and convert it as Text File output.
2) Also I have created a facebook developer account page and trying to figure out how the Facebook API works to push data from MYsql to facebook.
3) would appreciate if transformation mapping can be provided. Also I would not like to use XML, instead I would like to use JSON.
Already the msql table is converted to csv file, but I am not sure how to post the csv file to facebook or is there a way to connect mysql table to facebook directly. Please share your ideas or transformation mapping. Thanks
I would Assuemm you are familiar with Facebook Development API to do all actions like post, get and so on.
You have a step called "REST CLIENT STEP" in Pentaho.
you will have an API url to post the data that you want from mySQL. There several methods GET PUT POST DELETE
Also set the Application Format to Json (XML,JSON etc).
I used to read data from FB using REST Client by using GET Method. Work around.

What does a JSON file do?

I went through previous posts on SO and some of the answers say that a JSON file is used to send data from server to client.
Well that seems to be okay but then we can create package.json, Apidoc.json, manifest.json which do not interact with the client and server
So can someone tell me what actually is a JSON file?
JSON stands for JavaScript Object Notation. It is used to describe a data structure in a simple format. It can be a plain text file, which may be used to pass data from the server to a client, but it could be equally used to hold and consume that data at the same layer e.g. you could have a configuration file at the client side which is read an interpreted by your application.
Note also that JSON does not need to be held in a file; you could create a string variable with JSON data in it and pass this from one method to another without ever storing it in a file.
The tag definition in Stack Overflow can be found here https://stackoverflow.com/tags/json/info and further information can be found here https://www.json.org/.
JSON is a file format, just like CSV. Just because CSV is used with Microsoft Excel, does not mean that is all it is used for (just like with JSON). Just because it is common to get info from a server in JSON format, does not mean that is all JSON is used for. Do some googling before asking a question like this on Stack Overflow.

GetOrgChart JSON format

A little startup I am doing work for is searching for a JavaScript Org Chart, and we believe we'd like to use "GetOrgChart" from getorgchart.com.
We definitely have a working back-end already that provides data to the front-end via RESTful services and provides JSON data.
We know the GetOrgChart can be loaded with data from various sources, and in this case we'd like to know what format the JSON has to be in?
Are there any examples out there of how the JSON should look like?
We'd definitely like to download and register this product, but that is one of the questions we'd like to get answered.
Thanks!
On their demos page, you can click the 'Get HTML Code' link (upper right, below the site header) which opens the javascript used to render the demo, including the format of the data.

Move Gherkin's (i.e. Cucumber and Behave) Data Table to JSON

I was using Behave and Selenium to test on something that use a large amount of data. Data tables were becoming too big and making the Gherkin documentation unreadable.
I would like to move most of the data from data tables to external file such as JSON. But I couldn't find any examples on websites.
I cannot offer an example at the moment, but I would create the JSON file as needed and give reference to the JSON file in Given or Background , then capture the value in the respective decorated method.
