MySQL: Extract all Keys from a nested JSON String - mysql

In addition to this answer is it possible to extract nested keys in a simple way?
Example:
{
"a": value,
"b": {
"c": value
"d": {
"e": value
}
}
}
Expected output: ['a', 'b.c', 'b.d.e']
What I have tried:
SELECT
f.`id` AS `field_name`
FROM table t,
JSON_TABLE(
JSON_KEYS(t.`column`, '$.b'),
'$[*]' COLUMNS(
`id` VARCHAR(191) PATH '$'
)
) AS t
but that would only show me one of the nested keys and skip the outer

MySQL Parse and Split JSON value

I have a column which contains a JSON value of different lengths
["The Cherries:2.50","Draw:3.25","Swansea Jacks:2.87"]
I want to split them and store into a JSON like so:

What I did right now is looping and splitting them in the UI which to me is quite heavy for the client. I want to parse and split them all in a single query.
If you are running MySQL 8.0, you can use json_table() to split the original arrayto rows, and then build new objects and aggregate them with json_arrayagg().
We need a primary key column (or set of columns) so we can properly aggreate the generated rows, I assumed id:

You can use json_table to create rows from the json object.
Just replace table_name with your table name and json with the column that contains json
SELECT json_arrayagg(json_object('name',SUBSTRING_INDEX(person, ':', 1) ,'odds',SUBSTRING_INDEX(person, ':', -1) ))
FROM table_name,
JSON_TABLE(json, '$[*]' COLUMNS (person VARCHAR(40) PATH '$') people;

Json hash save into relational database in rows and columns

I want to read the values from json and need to create a new json so is there any way that
we can save json in table and columns in oracle that will help to perform calculation on that. calculation is too complax.
Here is the json sample and json has many hash and

Search in mysql json column to check multiple criteria on same index of array

I'm using MYSql server 8.0.17.
I want to get record with uId= 'UR000001' and also with VIEW = 'Y' from the security column(Shown in Table).

JSON_SEARCH function searches all array elements of the record that I don't want.
Here is the query that I had tried but it returns the result with all matching (uID='UR000001' OR View='Y')

In MySQL 8.0, you can use handy JSON function json_table() to convert a json array to rows. You can then search the resultset.
The following query gives you all viewids whose at least one array element with attribute uId is equal to 'UR000001' and attribute view is 'Y':

As a bonus, rowid gives you the index of the matching object in the JSON array (the first object has index 1).
This yields:

However please note that if more than one object in the array that satisfies the conditions, the above query would generate more than one row per row in the original table (this is why I used exists in the first query).

MySQL JSON object insert

I have the following JSON:

Is there a way to make mysql function with one insert query without using "while do" directly to insert all the parameters into table like this:

If you are running MySQL 8.0, you can use json_keys() to dynamically extract the keys from the json subobject as a json array, and then use json_table() to turn it to rows. You can then extract the values.
Consider:

We can insert multiple rows with a single query using insert into. we need to construct this query using your JSON object

How to search JSON array in MySQL?

Let's say I have a JSON column named data in some MySQL table, and this column is a single array. So, for example, data may contain:
[1,2,3,4,5]
Now I want to select all rows which have a data column where one of its array elements is greater than 2. Is this possible?
I tried the following, but seems it is always true regardless of the values in the array:
SELECT * from my_table
WHERE JSON_EXTRACT(data, '$[*]') > 2;
You may search an array of integers as follows:
JSON_CONTAINS('[1,2,3,4,5]','7','$') Returns: 0
JSON_CONTAINS('[1,2,3,4,5]','1','$') Returns: 1
You may search an array of strings as follows:
JSON_CONTAINS('["a","2","c","4","x"]','"x"','$') Returns: 1
JSON_CONTAINS('["1","2","3","4","5"]','"7"','$') Returns: 0
Note: JSON_CONTAINS returns either 1 or 0
In your case you may search using a query like so:

Since MySQL 8 there is a new function called JSON_TABLE.

I use a combination of JSON_EXTRACT and JSON_CONTAINS (MariaDB):
SELECT * FROM table WHERE JSON_CONTAINS(JSON_EXTRACT(json_field, '$[*].id'), 11, '$');
I don't know if we found the solution.
I found with MariaDB a way, to search path in a array. For example, in array [{"id":1}, {"id":2}], I want find path with id equal to 2.
SELECT JSON_SEARCH('name_field', 'one', 2, null, '$[*].id')
FROM name_table
The result is:
"$[1].id"
The asterisk indicate searching the entire array
This example works for me with mysql 5.7 above

notice about " around search keyword, '"8428341ffffffff"'
A possible way is to deal with the problem as string matching. Convert the JSON to string and match.
Or you can use JSON_CONTAINS.

This seems to be possible with to JSON_TABLE function. It's available in mysql version 8.0 or mariadb version 10.6.
With this test setup
