But once I call resetGame(); and I've tried many different things including a true/false statement to trigger it, and placing it in different places (I have no idea what I'm doing with this part now), it opens the door with the car in it on the second round, then doesn't remove the "darken" by the third round, and by maybe the 4th or 5th round, the "start" button stops working as a whole.
I have inherited a Google sheet script that generates a Live updatable JSON link from sheets chosen from an HTML form in a sidebar
At the start of a project, the only data that might be present is the Headers on both the Element and Connection sheets (and they are always present) and as the project matures rows of data are added to one or both sheets
My issue is that the script to generate the json requires that at least two rows of data exist (on both sheets) the Header row and a data row
When you run the script you get a pop up with a link then you click that link and a new browser tab opens with the JSON data. It is at this step I get the error

There is a lot of code here and it seems to me too much to post it but it is well documented in the code and I think someone who knows what they are doing can figure out pretty easily what needs to be done
From the added menu click Open Sidebar to get to the form. I have set it up in advance

I believe your goal is as follows.
You want to remove the following error. (The following image is from your question.)
When I saw your script and your sample Spreadsheet, I noticed that your sheet of "Connections" has only the header row. In this case, an error occurs at var values=sheet.getRange(startRowNum, 1, sheet.getLastRow()-1, sheet.getLastColumn()).getValues(); in your script. Because sheet.getLastRow()-1 is 0. So, in your situation, how about the following modification?
From:

To:
var rows = sheet.getLastRow() - 1;

I am a beginner in google app script. So right now I am doing a project where users can sign in and can view their payment history. So for now it is just showing from 2020 until 2021. So I want your guys help on creating a dropdown box which states (eg : 2020 , 2021 ) so maybe if the user clicks 2020 then they can see the payment history of 2020 only. I am developing my first chrome extension. It highlights the words that are passed to it. I used storage API to save a few objects so when I open the extension again, it will retain what I highlighted. but once in a while, they get reset to the first string value of the object only.

There is an inject.js also which run on all pages with similar code to highlight.js. It was made so that pages get highlighted even when someone navigate away or reload the page. It is also accessing the Chrome Storage API.
Only popup.js have code to modify the key pairs in storage API but it still somehow get changed to the first string. Please help.
