Why doesn't the dropdown box show? Here is you can see more of the code with preview HERE https://jsfiddle.net/laelza/yq68dok5/1/
Please do tell me where I am wrong. Thank you so much. :)

It seems like You forgot to add JS code of bootstrap:
https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap#5.1.1/dist/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js
Here is working example: https://jsfiddle.net/8e3y6Lfv/

The Dropdown for Bootstrap needs a Script-Dependency. For Bootstrap-5 the JS-Bundle is:

How do I center navbar link items using Bootstrap?

I followed the w3schools documentation page for bootstrap navbars, which said to add justify-content-center to my navbar to center links. In addition, I followed a YouTube video which said to do the same thing, with the caveat of adding that Bootstrap class to the div class which has <div class="collapse navbar-collapse" however, when I add it to my code, it does not center any of the items. I only want to center the nav links and not the brand logo.

Commented out the inner <div> and moved its classes and the id to the <ul> element.

You need to take the me-auto class off the list. That pushes it over even if you use centering classes on the parent element.
See the full page demo.

Bootstrap navbar doesn't expand while using bottom bar

I'am learning how to use bootstrap, but I have a problem with reponsiveness.
When I have my content wide it looks like my navbar doesn't expand to the right:
Here is code of my navbar:
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-lg navbar-light bg-light">
<div class="container-fluid">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">Navbar</a>
<button class="navbar-toggler" type="button" data-bs-toggle="collapse" data-bs-target="#navbarSupportedContent" aria-controls="navbarSupportedContent" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">

<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Link</a>

<li class="nav-item dropdown">
<a class="nav-link dropdown-toggle" href="#" id="navbarDropdown" role="button" data-bs-toggle="dropdown" aria-expanded="false">

<li class="nav-item">

<form class="d-flex">
<input class="form-control me-2" type="search" placeholder="Search" aria-label="Search">
<button class="btn btn-outline-success" type="submit">Search</button>
</form>
</div>
</div>
</nav>
Does anybody know how to fix it?
Can you put an id or a class and then select it in your css file. After that you can give
width: 100% or width: 100vw if these don't work u can use overflow-x: hidden;

Bootstrap float left and float right [duplicate]

Bootstrap NavBar with left, center or right aligned items

Bootstrap align navbar items to the right

Closed 4 years ago.
I'm very new to bootstrap so this is probably an easy question for most. I have a navbar, want two nav items and an input field to be on the left side of the navbar. With the two remaining nav items on the right. I have tried messing with the classes to make this happen and using the "float-left" and "float-right" classes but no joy :(
<nav class="navbar fixed-top navbar-expand-lg navbar-dark bg-dark fixed-top">
<div class="container">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="index.php">L'amour</a>
<button class="navbar-toggler navbar-toggler-right" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbarResponsive" aria-controls="navbarResponsive" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">
<span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
</button>
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbarResponsive">
<ul class="navbar-nav ml-auto">
<li class="nav-item float-left">
<a class="nav-link float-left" href="order.php">Contact Us</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item float-left">
<a class="nav-link float-left" href="order.php">Testimonial</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<input class='form-control' type='text' name='search' placeholder='Search for wedding...'>
</li>
<li class="nav-item float-right">
<a class="nav-link float-right" href="order.php">Order Wesbite</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item dropdown float-right">
<a class="nav-link dropdown-toggle" href="#" id="navbarDropdownBlog" data-toggle="dropdown" aria-haspopup="true" aria-expanded="false">
Account
</a>
<div class="dropdown-menu dropdown-menu-right" aria-labelledby="navbarDropdownBlog">

<a class="dropdown-item" href="logout.php">Logout</a>

</li>
</ul>
</div>

You can use the following solution:
