Google Drive showing old app icon beside Shortcut files - google-drive-api

I have a web application listed on the Marketplace that creates Google Drive Shortcuts (as described here). This was all working as expected. However, I've recently changed the Application Icon (via the Google Cloud Console > Drive UI Integration) and went through the app verification process again. It has been roughly 2-3 weeks since then, but both new and existing shortcut files on drive.google.com are still showing the old icon instead of the new icon.
An interesting point is that it's only the file icon beside the shortcut file name that's not updating. The new application icon is being used everywhere else, such as in the "New" menu, and the "Settings > Manage Apps" list.
How can I get drive.google.com to flush the old icon and show the new icon beside our shortcut files?

GAS Google Drive

this is question related to google apps script and Google Drive.
Is there any way to construct a URL for a file that causes opening that file in desktop application?
I'm basically asking whether it is possible to access "Open With" application list programmatically and pick up one from listed applications.
Now, when I get the URL, it causes opening another screen where I need to pickup an application and only then it starts opening. I would like to skip that step and open the file directly in a given desktop application.
Thank you!
Petr
"Open Width" requires having Google Drive for Desktop installed, having installed a Chrome extension and using Chrome.
Considering the above, since Google Apps Script server side code hasn't access to user environment it's not possible to
"Open With" application list programmatically and pick up one from listed applications.

cloud platform project dialog box

I'm doing the basic tutorial for google Quickstart bot in section to part 2 I see:
2) In the Cloud Platform project dialog box, click the URL for the project associated with the script.
I don't see any urls to click. Image of dialog box below
That's because since the release of April, 8th you can no longer view the default GCP assigned to your project (that is, if you created the project after the release). If properly reassigned a standard GCP, the link will appear in the dialog box in place of the This script has an Apps Script managed Cloud Platform project placeholder.
Please, read this official guide on how to switch to standard GCP (if you don't have a standard GCP yet, there is a guide on how to create one - btw, it might be confusing, but the button is clickable and will lead you straight to cloud console) and follow the steps provided.
Once done, copy the GCP number, open the resource manager again, paste the number and click on the "Set Project" button. If everything is configured correctly, you will see something like this and be able to access your new GCP:

Google Drive iOS SDK with Offline Access

I am working on a requirement where we need to support the docs in offline mode, I am planning to integrate the Google Drive iOS SDK and I would like to know weather its possible to get Offline access of google drive using the SDK approach
Google Drive "offline" is available only for files Every file you edited or created while offline will sync back with the online version of Drive when the network connection is reestablished (click on Switch to Docs online or load an entirely new Google Drive page with a refresh).
Steps to make a file offline:
Go to your drive and select a file in a folder/individual file.
Click on "i" (information) which is next to edit, navigates to Details.
You will see an option "Keep me on device". Turn it on.
This file becomes offline available.

How to change the GUI of a website via Google Chrome App

I am currently working on a project, that when installed from the Google Chrome webstore, it would replace the Google Drive's GUI, with a custom one. Also it would use the same custom GUI in a external Window (this utilizes the Offline feature of Drive). I am wondering on how to use my custom GUI, and replace the Google Drive's one.

How to edit HTML in Google Drive?

I have hosted a HTML file created on my PC (along with a stylesheet) on Google Drive using the script described here.
I have given out the link and it seems to be working fine (no reported issues from those I've sent it to).
I have just discovered a minor omission from the file, I need to add another sentence. This should be ridiculously easy on a PC, I could just open it on notepad!
I can't find a way to edit it on Google Drive, the only connected apps are the viewer and Docs.
The viewer, as the name suggests, will only let me view the HTML, and the docs app won't let me save it back to the original file.
Obviously I could download it then upload again, but from experience it will probably give me a different URL.
Is there any way for me to do this while keeping the link the same, as I have already given the address out?
Currently you can't. You can only preview html files, that is preview the code or preview the rendered content, but you cannot natively edit the code. You have two options:
use a third party extension, such as Neutron Drive or Drive Notepad.
install the Google Drive Desktop App, edit your files locally and save. Changes will be uploaded automatically.
I have just used HTML Editey chrome app
You can do this through file revisions. Hopefully, Google adds another way, but using the revision feature works for me. To revise your file, click the check mark in the Google Drive file list, click more, and then click "Manage revisions...". In the box that pops up, click upload new revision and then you're set.
You may also be able to edit html files stored in google drive through other plugins, but I do not use any at this time to know of them.
Update!
go to drive right click your html file
choose "open with" then "connect more apps"
when app library pop up search for "notepad" then choose "drivenotepad"
after it connect to drive, select it, you will get code editor.
