How to address the error when knitting R-Markdown to html? - html

Markdown to html, it showed error message "pandoc.exe: r-markdown-temp2.docx: openBinaryFile: permission denied (Permission denied)
Error: pandoc document conversion failed with error 1
Execution halted"
When I tried to install "htmltools" it also shows "Error in install.packages : Updating loaded packages".
How to solve the problem?

Check to make sure pandoc is installed, else install with installr::install.pandoc()
Delete or rename previously generated document(s). If you can find that / those document(s), you'll see (that it says) "Read Only", the default MS WORD document load status. Unless that status is removed (by deleting the document, for example, or by clicking on that status bar to change it), you can't have permission to overwrite it.

I think it might be a problem Mapping the network drive where the R project is stored. Check this post and this link

Impossible to retrieve files from an FTP in WinSCP - Bad message

I use WinSCP 5.17 to retrieve files from an FTP, when I retrieve files from the root folder of the FTP all works, but as soon as I try to retrieve the files from the sub-folder it doesn't work.
Here is the instruction I use:
get /Clients/Folder2/Folder3/*.* F:\folder1\folder2\
and this is the error message:
Error listing directory '/Clients/Folder2/Folder3'.
Bad message (badly formatted packet or protocol incompatibility).
Error code: 5
Error message from server: Bad message
Thanks for your help.
Finally I solved the problem, I generated the script from WinSCP GUI and it works.
open ftps://username:password#ftp-adresse.azure.com/ -certificate="ee:5f:af:7c:26:6b:bb:6f:cd:86:6a:2c:03:1e:8f:ab:e7:63:fd:43" -rawsettings FollowDirectorySymlinks=1
cd /Clients/folder2/folder3
lcd "F:\folder1\folder2"
get "*.xlsx"
exit

Can't export database from phpMyadmin on Xampp

I tried to export a WordPress database from Xampp's phpMyAdmin, but suddenly this error shows up:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 5 passed to PhpMyAdmin\Export::getFilenameAndMimetype() must be of the type string, null given, called in C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\export.php on line 380 and defined in C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\libraries\classes\Export.php:270 Stack trace: #0 C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\export.php(380): PhpMyAdmin\Export->getFilenameAndMimetype('database', '', Object(PhpMyAdmin\Plugins\Export\ExportSql), '', NULL) #1 {main} thrown in C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\libraries\classes\Export.php on line 270
I tried cleaning the cache from the dev tools of the browser, but the issue hasn't been solved. Besides, as soon as I click on "Export", I see a message about one form having more than 1000 lines.
I successfully exported the database with the command line, following another solution found here at StackOverflow, but I need to deselect a couple of tables, which is why I'd rather use the "usual" way.
Thank you very much in advance!
This is what, in my case, solved the issue.
Open the Xampp's php.ini file and paste the following at the bottom:
max_input_vars = 5000
suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000
suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000
Save the file and restart Apache from Xampp.
This is what worked for me when I was exporting a table,
While you export you will find Quick is selected,
you need to select custom, then
go to Output section and do the following
select, save output to file
on compression category, select zipped
Then go on download your table as a zipped file.

Event Subscription not working with error interrupted system call

I am trying to establish an event subscription via zmq from my locally running sawtooth network. As soon as I start my event-subscriber container, I get the error "interrupted system call".
I am following the example from here https://github.com/danintel/sawtooth-cookiejar/tree/master/events/go
I have tried using validatorUrl as tcp://localhost:4004 tcp://validator-0:4004
note: validator-0 is my local container name for the validator
Also, have tried with the direct IP of the validator container tcp://<IP>:4004
zmqConnection.RecvMsgWithId() is throwing the error.
The error I am getting is exactly at this line https://github.com/danintel/sawtooth-cookiejar/blob/master/events/go/src/events_client.go#L105
Can someone please help for the probable reasons or the way I can debug this one?
I do not know, but one possible cause is this example was recently updated to a new version of Go, 1.11 (from 1.9) after your posting:
https://github.com/danintel/sawtooth-cookiejar/pull/9
Because of this error:
Loading input failed: unsupported version of go: exit status 2: flag provided but not defined: -compiled
The issue was related to inter-pod communication. So the issue was, my event subscriber client was in a completely different pod than the pod where the validator container was running. In that case, we need to used the FQDN of that pod. Refer to the link below.

How do I change a 500 error into a 404 error and show a custom page?

I just launched a site and when I go to a non-existing page, I get a 500 Internal Server error instead of a 404 errror.
I was thinking that this was because I didn't have a 404.html page (just a guess), but I just created a 404.html page at the root and I still get 500 errors.
What should I do to make it so that when somebody types in a bad address they get redirected to my custom 404 error page?
There is no special stuff going on with my site, just HTML, CSS and a tiny bit of javaScript. Not a Rails app, not a Wordpress site, no PHP, etc. ..just HTML files on an Apache server.
The error I get when I go to a non-existing page or directory reads like this"
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
webmaster#subdomain.domain.com and inform them of the time the
error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused
the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error
log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while
trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
After you have the Error 500 problem solved you can create a custom 404 page by editing your .htaccess file you should have one in the root of your directory.
Open the file with a text editor and add this:
ErrorDocument 404 http://www.yourwebsite.com/404page.html
You could also create a custom Error 500 by changing the above code to suite your needs.
It's pretty self explanatory but the last part is the directory that users will be directed to after they receive a 404 error.

Application Verifier 6.2 (x64) AVRF: failed to create verifier log file status C0000022

My Windows Store app keeps getting rejected from certification testing and I managed to reproduce a consequent crash when running appverif's LuaPriv-check. I get this output though:
AVRF: failed to create verifier log file \??\C:\Users\xx\AppVerifierLogs\yy.exe.0.dat (status C0000022)
Process Monitor tells me yy.exe got ACCESS DENIED on a CreateFile operation in this folder. I have set full access to all users (the user reported in the log was the same as the owner of the folder). I am running Visual Studio and Application Verifier as Administrator, but this does not seem to apply. What is the correct way of giving user xx full access to this folder on win8? I have attempted to use different log folders for appverify but with no success. Anyone else able to use this tool with Store-apps?
This post describes similar issues. Attempting to run AppVerif –sppath C:\MyLogsLocation as in the suggested workaround gives AVRF: Error: Incorrect image name: <
So does running appverif -enable handles locks -for myapp.exe -sppath c:\MyLogsLocation
It might be a bug in app verifier.
Have a look at these links:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/5ed560c0-76af-401d-8150-8cd1e69d0b8a/why-app-verifier-can-not-create-log-file?forum=windowssdk
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dougste/archive/2010/01/11/generating-application-verifier-logs-for-web-applications.aspx
0xc000022 is STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. The process doesn't actually have write permissions, even if it looks like it should. This MSDN blog explains there is a bug in App Verifier so even if you specify -sppath the value won't be honoured unless you first delete the %WINDIR%\system32\config\AppVerifierLogs\ folder.
