Getting as sown below
please help me to understand and publish the dashboard and share a link to access the dashboard from super set
Which type of VM do you use? It looks like you need to expose port 8088 outside of your virtual machine.

I also have the same problem as an admin on a domain
I just installed SSRS locally on a machine for and I cannot access the reports I deployed. Everything was installed as admin
when going to the web portal I get this massage
Could not load folder contents
You are not allowed to view this folder. Contact your administrator to obtain the necessary permissions.
and when trying to access the web service via the config manager I get this one:
The permissions granted to user <username> are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)
Additionally in the web portal I got no "manage" folder and only "my subscriptions" under the settings button .
Everything is running locally and as admin, the OS is windows 11 and the SSRS is version 15.0.1102.1002 and running in native mode.
I've looked all over the place and found out something about certificates, but almost everything in google is about access problems via remote server.
adding the URL to the trusted sites didn't help
it certainly look like you don't have permission. Are you administrator? When you were installing did you set up some users to be administrators?
Find which account is administrator and then add yourself from the SSRS site. Is there another account you can run or Run as administrator?
Another way to install again.
If you decide to install again pay attention on the page with the users.
I'm trying to see whether I can host RTD privately (behind a VPN). I spun up an AWS EC2 instance and set it up using the Docker image and instructions here. Everything worked fine, but when I go to http://<internal_ip> to test it I get a page with the message
404 - Invalid Host
The host "" is unknown to Read the Docs
If you control this domain and believe this is in error, please review our custom domain documentation. In the past, we allowed custom domains to point to us without configuring the domain in the Read the Docs dashboard and we attempted to intelligently guess the correct project based on DNS settings. Now, we believe that explicit is better than implicit. Below are some steps to help you get your domain working again:
Ensure you have a CNAME record pointing to readthedocs.io
Add your desired domain in the Read the Docs dashboard for your project (under Your Project >> Admin >> Domains)
It points me to this page, but it seems to me that those instructions assume I'm hosting my project on the public readthedocs.io site. Any ideas on how I can get this to work on my private server?
I am following the MobileFirst containers tutorial:
https://mobilefirstplatform.ibmcloud.com/tutorials/en/foundation/7.1/ibm-containers/run/
I have already created mobilefirst project. Now I want to use that project war file. As per above link, all installation process is done. Now I am facing an issue while running the scripts. When I try to run prepareserverdbs.sh it asks me to specify the name of my Bluemix application (mandatory). Which name should I provide there?
I tried with same war file name which I created but its throwing The Bluemix application Test was not found. I have already copied war file in usr/projects folder.
I guess you skipped step 3: Using the configuration files. If you choose to run the scripts interactively, you can skip the configuration but it is strongly suggested to at least read and understand the arguments you will need to provide (in the prepareserverdbs.properties collapse you can find instructions how to create a database service).
In order to create a database service and bind it to a Bluemix application, go to the Bluemix Dashboard, create a new Cloud Foundry application and follow the instructions:
Choose "web".
Choose the Liberty for Java option.
Name your app.
Note: Choose a unique name.
Click on the "view app overview" button.
In the overview page click on the "add a service or API" button.
Choose a DB service type (sqldb, cloudantNoSQLDB) from the Data and Analytics services section.
Name the service and click on the "create" button
Good Morning. I have downloaded and installed GE Enterprise portal v5. When I start the application, it automatically launches the browser and sends me to http://localhost:9335. It loads just fine and I am able to view the image and polygon. I then close the server and open the portable.cfg and added the following line: accept_all_requests True, which us supposed to allow others to view and use the published globes and services from other machines. I then restart the application. When I try and navigate to my portal instance via another machine or via the named machine name http://9335 I get page not found. I have tried changing the ports, disabling my local firewall and HIPs with no luck. Are you supposed to be able to hit an instance of portal from a url other than localhost?
Thanks.
Been trying to get SSRS reporting service set up for a while now, and been stuck on the issue with UAC.
After setting up the Reporting Service Configuration Manager settings, with service account using my PC's login account, Database using ReportServer$SQLEXPRESS, etc. when launching the server # 127.0.0.1/Reports it directs me to 127.0.0.1/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx and then after login with my PC's login this is what I get on my browser -
"User 'OCTETHP\Support' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed."
And I have done my researches online, I turned off UAC, I am on the administrator account, and I also tried to run the browser with right click to run as administrator option on both chrome and IE. Still does not solve this problem. Could anyone help me out with this??
I am currently running on windows 8.1. Thanks so much!
It is likely the problem is with the account the reporting server is running under (OCTETHP\Support). You may need to add this user to the web user group (IIS_WPG depending on your OS version). If that doesn't work, you can set the user to be a local administrator and work the permissions back from there.
If you want to run the reporting services from another account you'd want to follow these steps:
Open IIS Manager
Under websites locate the SSRS website (/Reports in your case)
In basic properties check the App Pool the site is running under
Go to the App Pools section of IIS and open the advanced properties
Setup the user that the App Pool runs under
You'll need to make sure the user is assigned to the web user group, and has permissions to access the folder that the website points to.
