How to use .oct binary as function - binary

I am trying to use a .oct binary file compiled by someone else as a function.
The binary file is function.oct and the file I'm running in octave is 'test.m`. They both exist in the same directory.
In trying to call function.oct in test.m, I'm doing the following:
test.m
autoload('func', 'function.oct')
func(x, y)
This results in this error:
error: /Users/octavetest/xyz/st.oct: failed to load: dlopen(/octavetest/st.oct, 10): Library not loaded: /Applications/Octave-6.1.0.app/Contents/Resources/usr/opt/octave-octave-app#6.1.0/lib/octave/6.1.0/liboctinterp.8.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/xyz/octavetest/st.oct
Reason: image not found
How do I call the function from the compiled .oct file?

In general, you cannot use .oct binary files compiled by other users. OCT-files are linked with dependencies to the exact locations where Octave and other libraries are installed.
error: /Users/octavetest/xyz/st.oct: failed to load: dlopen(/octavetest/st.oct, 10): Library not loaded: /Applications/Octave-6.1.0.app/Contents/Resources/usr/opt/octave-octave-app#6.1.0/lib/octave/6.1.0/liboctinterp.8.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/xyz/octavetest/st.oct
Reason: image not found
You are looking at an OCT-file (st.oct, not function.oct) that was compiled against the Octave.app distribution of Octave, version 6.1.0, and that is the only Octave that it will run against.
You'll need to get the source for that st OCT-file and recompile it in your Octave environment.
Sorry.

Octave GUI on Mac is not able to find a file

I entered this code on my octave GUI on Mac:
>>cd file:///Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford/warmUpExercise.m
error: file:///Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford/warmUpExercise.m: No such file or directory
I am using macOS Big Sur and Octave version 3.8.0.The file in question exists in my computer and I have checked this code multiple times.
It is not able to locate the file on my MacBook for some reason. Can someone help?
Edit: I have tried a new code as mentioned in the comments, but it also can't find the file
>> cd Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford/warmUpExercise.m
error: Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford/warmUpExercise.m: No such file or directory
I have also tried:
1.>> cd Users/Sudipta/Downloads
error: Users/Sudipta/Downloads No such file or directory
2.>> cd Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford
error: Users/Sudipta/Downloads/Stanford No such file or directory
And I got the same error as above.
The other code gave a different error:
3.> cd /Users/Sudipta/Downloads
warning: load_path: .: Operation not permitted
QKqueueFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: open: Operation not permitted
Warning: QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /Users/Sudipta/Downloads

Can't connect to MariaDB via MATLAB - Invalid MEX File

I am trying to connect to MariaDB using mYm (Mysql wrapper for MATLAB) on MATLAB.
Every time I use mYm to access DB I get an error
Invalid MEX-file 'path\to\DB\MySQL\mYm1.36 64-bit\mym.mexw64': A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
So far what I've understood is that DLL in question i.e. libmysql.dll is not registered.I tried do do that using regsvr32 "path\to\DB\MySQL\mYm1.36 64-bit\libmysql.dll". But that results in following error:
The module path\to\DB\MySQL\mYm1.36 64-bit\libmysql.dll failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at specified path or debug it to check for problems with binary or dependent .DLL files.
The specified module could not be found.
I require a solution to fix this error.
I might be wrong in assuming the dll is not registered.

Winexe installation in Linux

I am trying to compile and build winexe. I have downloaded the samba source and ran the following command to compile the winexe.
./waf configure --samba-dir=../../samba --samba-inc-dirs=../../samba/ --samba-lib-dirs=../../samba/
I am getting the following error. Please suggest me to resolve the error.

edit the file "smb_static/wscript",
remove the line with execfile and use exec(open("wscript").read()) instead

Load new module in Kamailio

I would like to ask, how can I load new module in Kamailio 4.1.2?
Actually, I have an issue, when I tried to compile my kamaiio.cfg
I've got error:
root#kamailio:/usr/local/# kamailio -c kamailio.cfg
loading modules under /usr/local/lib64/kamailio/modules/

ERROR: bad config file (2 errors)
when I look physically to the /usr/local/lib64/kamailio/modules/ there is some modules, but websocket.so is missing.
So, how can I get and load module in Kamailio?
Thank you for help!
You haven't installed the module websocket. Edit modules.lst file in the source code directory and add websocket to include_modules variable. If you don't have modules.lst, just do:
make cfg
Alternative is to do:
make cfg include_modules="websocket"
By default, the build system for kamailio compiles and install only the modules that have the same dependencies as the core of the application. For websocket you need to install libunistring and openssl (libssl) devel packages.
Steps to load new module to Kamailio server. (Try if above answer is not working for you)
Check the modules is exist in the default module directly /usr/local/lib64/kamailio/modules.
If found, add loadmodule "module_name.so" in load module section in kamailio.cfg file.
If the module is not found in default module directory, you can check for the source code of that module in the default module source code directory /usr/local/src/kamailio-4.4/kamailio/modules.
If source code found, enter to the module directory. Then create modules' shared object file(.so) by following commands.
./configure
make
make test
make install
Then you will get a shared object file(.so). Copy that file into the default module directory. and load this module from the kamailio.cfg file as mentioned in step 1.
If module source code does not exist in the default source code directory, You need to download the source code from the web. And follow step 3 and 4.
