Exit Private Mode to Log In Please open a regular browsing window to log in. You can also continue as a guest to chat with this business - google-chrome

Why it is not possible to open in some computer browser - chrome and Microsoft edge to chat with facebook chat plugin on website. When clicking on Log into Messenger - got this error.
"Exit Private Mode to Log In
Please open a regular browsing window to log in. You can also continue as a guest to chat with this business"
The URL on the new window while give this message is https://www.facebook.com/plugins/chat/incognito_login/.
But it is working on Firefox browser. However for the same website FB chat plugin work on another computer chrome browser, how is it?
What setup is needed in my laptop browser for able to chat in messenger of website of FB plugin from the chrome and edge.
There was not a problem like one year before but I think since nearly one year this error came. I think there is something wrong with facebook chat plugin after they upgraded. I try to contact them but there is no proper support from facebook.
I hope someone will help to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance.

This is due to extension installed on browser and computer, but which extension I am not sure. I had extension like grammarly, dictionary, dashlane, radio and more before.
I have formatted my old hdd to upgrade ssd of my laptop. And I installed all new OS, and browser too. And it is working now.

Facebook mbasic site, mobile safari, home screen shortcuts and local storage

I have a question about the mbasic.facebook.com page and how they manage to do what they do on iPhone with iOS 12.3.1. This is not about the facebook app. I don't have it installed at all.
I went to mbasic.facebook.com in mobile safari on iOS and created a shortcut for it on my homescreen. When I use the shortcut, the page behaves like what Apple calls a web application, i.e. it does not have the usual mobile safari UI.
Here's the weird part:
After using the shortcut and logging in, I switch to the settings app and under "Safari", I delete the browser history and website data.
I then use the shortcut again to launch the mbasic facebook site.
I am greeted with a screen where I still appear to be logged in. If i interact with the page it will make me login again, however.
This makes me wonder about two things:
How does the web application maintain its state (i.e. still know who am i) despite me trying to delete the Safari data?
How do I delete the data in a way that also affects a "web app" launched via a home screen shortcut?
I am not sure exactly. But I think it was done by PWA(Progressive Web App) technology. It helps you to use a website as an app that are installed from app store. And it also has the ability of state maintaining, giving push notification, maintain own storage in your device. When you installed it, all your login information was saved in your device as its own storage and this storage has no relation with your web browser. That;s why when you delete data from Safari, it made no effects on the installed one. And when you installed it, it installed its own manifest file in your device. That's why it runs on your device with it's own UI not with the safari UI. You can delete its data by deleting its storage folder that is created at the time of installation. I am not sure where you got the file in your device. Make a research on it. Here are some useful link about PWA. MDN web docs - PWA 4 important points to know about Progressive Web Apps (PWA) PWA Tutorial Hope it will help you. You are requested to share any new thing that should be known as I am new in this technology.

Facing issue while trying to run Robot framework script in google chrome browser

I am facing a Chrome popup while trying to run Robot Frame work script:
Microsoft Security Essentials wants to restore your Chrome settings to their
original defaults.
This will reset your homepage, new tab page and
search engine, disable your extensions, and unpin all tabs. It will
also clear other temporary and cached data, such as cookies, content
and site data.
In chrome extension, my developer mode is unchecked, whereas it should be checked.
The Robot Framework automation script is just to open the google Chrome browser and load google search page.
I am using Win 7 Home Basic OS.
I have attached screenshots.
It appears that most Chrome support specialists will ask you to run an anti-malware tool to verify that your system is running normally. These can be found by searching on the popup message.
One Reddit user commented that in his case the problem was resolved by altering the Windows registry:
I finally found a fix for this. There is a setting in the registry
that's causing it.
In the registry it's under
HKEY_CKU\CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Chrome\TriggeredReset
Delete the TriggeredReset key and then close regedit. Fixed.
This is an API for 3rd party programmers who want to create cleaning
tools. But if the tool isn't written properly, the triggered reset
never gets deleted and we have it always asking.

Chrome - Microphone blocked even if it shows allowed

I am trying to implement and use the Chrome Speech API on my website but I'm not able to do it. The response I receive is that the "Permission to use microphone is blocked" but it really isn't. Microphone settings in Chrome are clearly showing that I don't have sites blocked and that the system should it least ask.
It is not a problem with the website because I have performed tests on other computers and it is working fine. I would like to figure out the settings/preferences that need to be readjusted in order to make this work.
In addition to this, in C:\Users\MY-USER\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Preferences I was able to see entries for my site and I removed them but nothing changed. I tried also (not in order:
1- Reset Chrome.
2- Uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome. Manually removing files and registry entries.
3- Run Chrome in incognito mode.
4- Run ChromeCleanup Tool
5- Not working on Chrome Canary.
6- Every computer was tested on the same internet connection.
I am not sure what else I can do about this.
Thanks!

Download of Clickonce Application in Chrome marked as Malicious File

It seems that the latest update of Google Chrome 44 to 45 is blocking clickonce applications.
Our clickonce application is working fine and is in production for over weeks.
This morning we got reports that when users tried to download our application it straight end up in the Downloads tab with following message: "[...].application may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it. Recover malicious file". After clicking that message a confirmation dialog is shown and if that gets accepted the user can download the application file.
Is anyone else having the same experience with their clickonce applications and do you have any idea how to get around with it?
Thanks for any ideas / help!
(I have sadly not enough reputation to post images, sorry for that)
Elia
It looks like it might have just been raised in the Chromium issue tracker:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=532952
Quoting from there:
My understanding is that if Google has not scanned the file because it is unreachable or isn't aware of it (no public links so it can't be crawled), Chrome will block the application."
In latest version things are worse: There is only Suppress button next to the message "xxx may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it" with no links for "recover". The trick is to click on Show all downloads button on far right. There you will see the link for recovering the file that Chrome unnecessarily deemed as malicious.

500 Internal Server Error just on Google Chrome when logging into PayPal

Whenever I try to visit log in to PayPal on Google Chrome (my current version is 35.0.1916.114 which is the most up to date at the time of writing this), I get a 500 Internal Server Error. Here's the exact one:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster#paypal.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
I'm able to visit the homepage fine and I can log in on all other browsers but this has been an issue for some time now (I just haven't gotten around to looking into it). At the moment, I open Firefox just to use PayPal but I used Chrome for everything else so I'm trying to solve it.
Any ideas on why this would be happening? I've seen other questions on the web similar but they are mainly due to people 'buying' through PayPal which isn't a problem for me. I can purchase items on the 'purchase' screens that you get redirected to from a site.
Thanks for your help!
I see this from time to time on a couple of very specific web sites (e.g., Slashdot). All other sites works fine when this happens (and the site works fine in other browsers, including Web Kit based ones). The embarrassingly simple solution is to restart the browser (I try to avoid it since I often have 50+ tabs open). If guess the problem might be session cookies (that would explain why a restart works). As a consequence of this guess, clearing all permanent cookies for PayPal and related sites might be worth considering.
For me, I do like this at the 500 error page
Click on the Secure to the left side of the address bar
Select Site settings
Select Reset site settings at the bottom of the page
Reload the page
in some cases but not all. There appears to be a corrupt session via the cookie or data stored for a specific browser in the java files. Try the following;
1. Download CCleaner (close chrome)
Remove and clean registry files
Remove tmp and cached for CHROME as well as cookies
Clear index.dat file
4. Control Panel / Java-open / clear internet java cached files
5. Make sure you're not using a proxy IP for the web
6. Restart computer
7. Try again
Now that Google separated cookies from permissions I had to delete my cookies separately to get it to work.
Click on the Secure to the left side of the address bar
Select Cookies
Select the wordpress cookies and Remove each one
Reload page
