I am trying to show a preview of a HTML content with page size, margins, header-footer and watermark applied. I had a fair success with using jsPDF so that I can show the preview before it gets converted to PDF in a new tab.
Instead I would like to have a live preview kind of work. The following is the abstracted form of the requirement where I have to HTML editors and the content from each are combined and shown preview like this.
Any change applied can be previewed by pressing the "Refresh" button on top including the page settings.
Can anyone help me in pointing to some plugin with which I could achieve the same? ASP .Net and Angular are the environment and would be more than happy to respond to any clarifications raised.
I can work on developing this with help of a developer but both of us at present lack the know-how. Any pointers in suggested approach is enough.
Show the codes, so anyone can see what's wrong with the code and why the relations are not connected with the HTML live show pdf.

I got a little issue,
when I share my portfolio in Facebook or Linkdin I get a preview of the web as an image but with a wrong image(one of the images included in the code itself).
how can I fix that so that the preview image will be the the web image?
thanks
If you've already generated the image, I think you need to use this: developers.facebook.com/tools/debug to rescrap it and try and get FB to pull in the correct image.
There's a section, in the screenshot, that allows you to bulk clear FB caches if it's more than one URL you're having issues with, if it's just the one, the first tab should be what you need.
I can't get editable html code behind the page. I want to make some changes to the page. Web site is hosted in the remote server. Someone assigned this task. There is empty editor when open edit page as below image.
Also I added plugin and actived it but can't get the result.
The picture you posted is of the WYSIWYG editor, which is only for adding content to the page.
If you want to edit the layout of the page itself you have 2 options -
Minor page edits to appear across all pages on the site - Go to Appearance -> editor -> page.php and then edit the code to suite your needs.
Large page edits to appear on one or two pages -
Get access to the files
Duplicate page.php with a different name
Edit code
When you go to add a new page you should have an option to pick a page template. Choose the page template you just created.
If you know exactly what you are doing, you can use Chrome "Inspect" feature, and change the HTML of the content inside the WordPress WYSIWYG Editor. After injecting your HTML, click Preview or Publish and your changes will be saved correctly.
In WordPress 5.5.3, you should be able to click the three dots on the top right, then select Code editor. Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+M.
What would cause an HTML table and form (viewable in view:source) not to render or appear on the page?
It also does not appear in Chrome's Developer Tools console or Firebug console.
I have been trying to figure this out all day and searching is not helping.
Any changes from the raw html you see in view source to the rendered DOM in the browser is caused by JavaScript.
There must be some code on that page that is removing your table.
Can you please provide some code examples of scripts that are on the page and that you are including?
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm hoping I can open an iFrame in the centre of my webpage from clicking a picture. So in effect the iframe would be hidden until the picture is clicked. I have a very small and simple upload form on another page that I would like to appear when the user needs to upload and click the picture. I've had a good look round on this site and google in general but not found what I'm looking for, or the basics weren't included because it's common knowledge for most people here. Would there also be a way of closing this when it's finished uploading too? The form currently diverts to the homepage when finished so It would be handy to have a close option as in the end (post successful upload) the iframe contents will be the same as the page it's displayed on.
The best/easiest I have come across has been on w3schools but I have read using html for iFrames is not widely accepted or it isn't the best option cross-browser.
I have been viewing and trying different code but without even the basic knowledge I can't get my head around it.
If anyone is able to help, please assume I'm 5 years old. I'm not daft but in terms of code I'm literally just starting.
Thanks in advance
You would need to add a javascript onclick function to your img tag which would open a new window upon a click. You would pass the window.open function the name of the html file you want to display. Something like this:
<img src="image.jpg" onclick="window.open('welcome.html')">
I want to dynamically update the three images from "Trend Alert" in the EDM below:

To this Facebook iFrame.

I'm hoping someone knows a way to update these automagically - I don't want to have to manually change them every week.
The problem as you can see is that the EDM above spits out a different dynamic link every week.
Any one worked on something similar to this before?
This Facebook page currently features the same technique (The Latest section) - so if anyone can shed some light on it that would be great!

EDIT: I've created the html email template and have got the iframe working - but i'm unsure how to link the images to the Facebook as the link to the html email (campaign monitor) will change weekly?

You can create a Facebook Application and install it as a tab in your client's Facebook Page. This tab will render an iframe with content from any URL that you specify. This way, you can do anything you want with your webpage (e.g. display 3 dynamic images), and it will be embedded in your client's Facebook Page.
