How to place navbar menu below logo?

I have built this header using custom CSS and bootstrap class names. I have tried z-index, float: initial properties already. Thanks in advance

This is the result that I am getting with the current code,
actual result:
This is what I'm hoping it will look like, expected result:
Isn't simple without all the css rules, but the concept is: Create a wrapper floated to right and inside create 2 lines, one for the branding-powered-by-logo and display:block the second line is depend from actual CSS but probably works without modify anything.
If you can post the real page we can help you with more precision.
Hope this help you.

I think you just need add
position:absolute; right:0px;
to your .preview-menu class.

Align all 4 items in HTML/CSS

I have my timer that has date/hour/minute/seconds and the only one that doesn't align is the seconds. I tried many things such as different ways to align. So how can I align all the timer's items.
Can someone help me?
HTML
<div class="jumbotron timer">
<h2>Time until the tracker is activated</h2>

<div class="timertxt" id="daysBox"></div>

<div class="timertxtc">
<div class="timertxt" id="hoursBox"></div>
<h4>Hours</h4>
</div>
<h3 class="space">1</h3>
<div class="timertxtc">
<div class="timertxt" id="minsBox"></div>
<h4>Minutes</h4>
</div>
<h3 class="space">1</h3>
<div class="timertxtc">

);
}

}
h2{

.jumbotron.timer{

.timertxt{

The character in your <h3 class="space">1</h3> elements was causing the content of the container div to exceed 100% pushing 'seconds' on to the next line.
See fixes in the following fiddle:
https://jsfiddle.net/oLncm9d2/4/
Instead of using an element for 'spacing' padding-right / padding-left in combination with box-sizing: border-box; can achieve the spacing you want, without disrupting width calculations. (The solution demonstrates this and has removed the <h3 class="space">1</h3> elements.)
Note: I increased the container width to prevent excessive overlap for demonstration.

Why is my input's box shadow not being reset?

I'm applying a box shadow to a form and thus all of it's inputs. For the submit button I have it as a specific class to which I'm trying too apply box-shadow: none, but it doesn't seem to be taking. Any idea why?

<h2>So who are you?</h1>
<p>Hi, my name is Brett Sprouse and you've found my homepage! I'm a freelance web developer and programmer. Take a look around and if you think you may have a project I can help you with then head over to the contact page and share it with me.</p>

<h2>Ok, and what can you do for me?</h2>
<p>Well, I can make you a webpage of course. Not just that, but setup hosting, provide server maintenance, website support, both per job or on a contractual basis. I can likely also take over support for existing websites in addition to the one I may make from scratch.</p>
<p>Everything is coded to the current html specifications including html5 and css3 (when applicable, many browsers still do not support the current html5/css3 specifications). I said I'm a programmer as well so this means I can work my way around javascript for front end/client side interactivity as well as server side scripting preferentially with python though I can also use php if it's for some reason forced upon me.</p>
</div>
<div class="content_item">
<h2>Is that it?</h2>
<p>What do you mean is that it!? Ok, ok, I can also develop desktop applications, tools and utilities, or scripts to help automate otherwise monotonous tasks; pretty much anything within a programmers domain. I know quite a few languages, libraries, frameworks, and can learn new ones rather quickly. Both windows and linux so if there's a task you believe can be solved with programming I can likely make that happen for you. Do keep in mind however that I am only one guy so there is a limit to the size of projects in which I can handle, but if you're not sure it doesn't hurt to ask. </p>

This is just an issue regarding specificity - you just need to be more specific than the initial declaration.
No need for !important, just use the following:
#FooterRightColumn .submit_button input {
box-shadow: none;
}
jsFiddle example - it works.
Initially, you were added the shadow via #FooterRightColumn input. Simply be more specific by targeting #FooterRightColumn .submit_button input instead.

Although, I would advice overlooking the fiddle for a visual presentation of the issue: http://jsfiddle.net/H8FVE/3/
I have been trying to wrap my head around this all day to a point where I almost set my hair on fire. Do you know how to solve this?
Use the z-index css attribute to visually layer objects like this in HTML regardless of your DOM tree. I would advise you to test your eventual implementation cross browser though, especially IE7. Damn you IE7 for the extra work you cause us all.
See http://jsfiddle.net/H8FVE/6/:
Just add
#second-menu{
z-index:4;position:relative;
}
That's because slide has z-index:3, so if you want to see second-menu, its z-index must be higher.
And you have to add position:relative too because z-index has no effect on elements with position:static.
Edit:
I have seen you have
#mega div{
left:-999em;
}
#mega li.dif:hover div {
left: -407px;
top: 72px;
}
I think it would be better like this:
#mega > li.dif > div{
display:none:
left: -407px;
top: 72px;
}
#mega > li.dif:hover > div {
display: block;
}
That's because if you set left:-999em; to #mega div, you suppose that it won't be shown because -999em is a lot. But if you want to hide it, isn't it better not to display it?
And I have added child selectors (>) because in the future maybe you will modify it and add more divs inside #mega > li.dif > div; and child selectors should be faster than descendant selectors.
Try this:
#mega li:hover {
background:#eee;
border-bottom:0; /* border-bottom:0; and padding-bottom:1px; keeps <li> and <div> connected */
z-index:10; /* shadow above adjacent li */
}
I changed the z-index to 10, instead of 1.
http://jsfiddle.net/H8FVE/5/
Give #second-menu a z-index of 3
Give "#mega div" a z-index of 2
Give #featured a z-index of 1

Child elements :hover on Internet Explorer not working (HTML/CSS)

I built the following website basically from scratch, and it works perfectly on most browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), but unsurprisingly not on IE (tested on 9,10,11): Alliance Française du Manitoba
The problem is with the dropdown menus. When hovering over one of the menu headers (<div class="headerMenuItem">), a mega-menu (<div class="headerMenuDropdown">) should appear. Currently, when hovering, the headerMenuItems are highlighting, as expected, but the child headerMenuDropdown isn't appearing.
/***Header Menu***/
#headerMenu { /*Menu Wrapper*/
float: left;
margin: 12px auto 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
.headerMenuItem { /* Individual menu item */

I assumed that this had to do with one of two known IE bugs:
:hover inconsistencies
Unsuported > selector
However, both of these should have been phased out as issues by IE 9, but I'm having issues on IE 11! I've got a proper <!DOCTYPE html>, HTML5Shiv, and even crossover.htc, but nothing seems to work.
This leads me to think that the issue is with the CSS selector
.headerMenuItem:hover .headerMenuDropdown
EDIT: However, IE Inspector shows that it's behaivng properly!
Any known fixes?
