Edge Chromium xlsm issue

On a web application we manage, there is an issue only present in Edge Chromium. There is a button to download a file: an Excel macro file. When clicking the button in Edge, the file is opened in Excel. However, the login page of the webapplication appears in the XLSM file in Excel, instead of opening the xlsm file itself. In Google Chrome, the file is not opened, but downloaded first and when clicking open, we get the wanted behaviour.
This is the code behind the button (confidential data replaced by XXX):
<input type="submit" onclick="redirectToNavUrlGA('https://XXX.xlsm','XXX','XXX','XXXXXX'); return false;" value="XXXXXX">
When calling the URL directly in a cache cleared-Edge browser, the login page appears in browser and the file is downloaded correctly. Only when you are already logged in the to application, the issue is present. But users will always be logged in already, so not a good workaround.
The URL is using reverse proxy to point to a Sharepoint 2010 site to download the file. I've read some issues with Edge Chromium and SP 2010, is this maybe the cause of the issue?
Do you have any other ideas that could be causing this issue?
Thanks in advance.
According to your description, I think the main problem is the compatibility issue between SharePoint 2010 and Edge. The Edge browser is not included in SharePoint 2010 browser support, and even Edge IE 11 mode is not supported. So I suggest that you can use a supported browser.

Is there a way for a Windows tablet— when uploading an image on a website— to prompt to use the camera instead of using the File Explorer?

Problem
I'm currently working on a web application that needs to be able to upload images a lot. It is an <input type="file" name="picture" accept="image/*"> tag. Just like most other tablet or phone, I assumed that users on a Windows tablet— A Dell Venue 10 pro 5055, running on Windows 10 Enterprise in this case— would also be prompted to use the on-device camera or to choose from files. This is unfortunately not the case and makes the application a lot less user-friendly.
Tries
I checked this post: Can you launch the native Camera App from an Html 5 Web App?, the answer stated that using the following tag solved the problem for Android: <input type="file" accept="image/*;capture=camera">. This did not work for Windows.
The following post did provide an answer but that answer only works on Windows 8.1 unfortunately: Capturing images in web application on Windows 8.1 tablets
So is there a way to configure the tablet or to change the <input> tag in such a way that the user will be prompted to take a picture instead of choosing from an existing file?
Thank you in advance!

ng-file-upload: Upload file from mobile Firefox browser

I use ng-file-upload with AngularJS in my web app and it works great in PC browsers. However, when I open the app in Android Firefox, I am not able to upload files. But it works with Chrome. Nothing comes up when I click the file select button.
Is there anyway to make file upload does not work with FIrefox?
Thank you.

How can I upload a file with windows mobile?

All I have is a simple <input type='file'/> and a Windows Phone 8X HTC. In all other devices (iPod, ipad, android), the button is clickable and a file dialog shows up. But when I click it on windows phone - nothing happens. No file dialog at all.
I remember seeing people sending emails with attachments with their windows phones, so I assume that I am doing something wrong.
How can I upload a file on windows phone?
P.S. when I went to people whom I saw sending attachments with their phone, I found that they used native app, not html...
Windows Phone 8 doesn't support this directly from the browser (apparently, it might if you have an expansion card/memory card in the phone, but I don't have one to test with). I can say that the current developer preview of Windows Phone 8.1 does support it. When you click a file upload button in IE11 on WP8.1, a file selector is shown.

Excel page does not load in Google Chrome

I am using Flash Builder 4.0 to develop my application. I have a button whereby I click to open a CFM page which generates an Excel sheet.
The code when I click the button in Flex is as follows:
openXlsFile(e.target.label, "myexcelexport.cfm", 'TEST');
This line of code works fine on Internet Explorer and Mozilla. But it does not work on Google Chrome. Any idea form experts why this is so? Is there any setting that I am missing in Google chrome or something?
There's currently an issue Chrome is having with its built in Flash (pepperFlash). I'd make sure that's not the cause of your issue.
Details can be found here:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=277210
This issue has been fixed in Google Chrome version 30.0.1599.101
