Does the Vimeo Unity SDK allow Vimeo livestreams to display in my Unity App? - vimeo

Im interested in using the Vimeo Unity SDK to display Vimeo livestreams in our app. We plan to have the app built both for Unity WebGL and Mobile.
Can someone confirm if this is possible using Vimeo Unity SDK? I know it allows for uploaded videos to be streamed, but does it also allow for livestreams to be displayed?
Thanks!

How many times you can play Google drive video?

How many times you can play Google drive video without getting the error.
I'm not familiar if there are any limits regarding video streaming but as it is also discussed in this forum, "Google Drive was 'not designed' to stream video of any length." I would suggest to use YouTube Data API for uploading, searching deleting videos or YouTube Player API Reference for iframe Embeds for streaming videos for web, YouTube Android Player API for android and Embed YouTube Videos in iOS Applications with the YouTube Helper Library for iOS.

Does the YouTube Upload Widget uses Flash or HTML5

Reading its documentation one might think that it uses HTML5 especially if focusing on this text:
The widget uses HTML5's postMessage support to send messages back to
your website regarding videos uploaded via the widget.
In addition, when I read the "Note" where it says it loads the same JavaScript file as the IFrame Player API, I thought it really does use HTML5 as the IFrame player API do.
However, when I try the widget on a mobile device I was presented with a "You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player..." error. Unfortunately, both iPhone and Android devices do not support it.
So the question is, does the widget use a Adobe Flash or HTML5. If the latter, can it be controlled via settings that was not defined in the doc?
As mentioned in your question, the Youtube Upload Widget uses
HTML5's postMessage support to send messages back to your website regarding videos uploaded via the widget.
So yes it's using HTML5 for this task, but for the video capturing part, the widget uses flash and that's why in mobile or even in desktop browser with flash player disabled, you will get the message that invite you to install flash player.
For the widget parameters, there is nothing, in my knowledge at least, to force it to load a HTML5 version which, I think, didn't exist yet now.
Hope that can help.

Embed YouTube Video in Windows Phone 8 App

I am new to Windows Phone app development and I would like to know what is the best way to embed YouTube videos in Windows Phone 8 App? I would like to provide a list of videos with thumbnails and user should be able to click and watch the video just like any typical app.
Thanks a lot.
I had tried some third party SDKs while I was doing this for Windows 8 but was not happy with any of the solutions.
Finally I resorted to embedding the video in a Web View control and the output was pretty desirable. I have not tried this on Windows Phone but should work as it did on Windows 8 since the underlying browser is the same. Try it out:-
string html = #"<style> body{margin:0; padding:0;} iframe{width:100%;height:480px;}#media screen and (max-width:300px) { iframe{width:100%;height:180px;}} </style><iframe style=""padding:0px;margin-bottom:-20px;"" src=""http://www.youtube.com/embed/" + videoId + #"?rel=0"" frameborder=""0"" allowfullscreen></iframe>";
videoView.NavigateToString(html);
Let me know if this worked for you
First try creating sample video application in Windows Phone App Studio which uses YouTube API services and display videos in application.
Download the source code and refer, How it uses YouTube API services and gets video. Source code will be in MVVM pattern and its the best way to implement. You may get some basic knowledge on how to develop apps that uses YouTube services.
You can refer the source code which uses YouTube API services, which I generated for more information.

AS3 Starling stagewebview cant access content

I have setup a starling project and added stagewebview to embed Google maps. I have tested the project using Facebook and it seems to load http://facebook.com correctly. The issue I am having is I am unable to access the page (click links, log in etc).
I don't know if I understand the use of stagewebview or if something else is stopping me from accessing the content. My understanding is you can load an external page into the project/device.
The project will be used in a mobile app that uses maps. If someone knows of a better way to using Google maps (or any other mapping software) in a mobile (iOS and Android) I am all ears.
Thanks
Loading Google maps into a stageWebView certainly is possible. Although I used StageWebViewBridge as I needed communication both ways between ActionScript and JavaScript.
StageWebViewBridge loading and communicating with online page
Be aware though that the stageWebView won't be on the Starling (Stage3D) display list. It will need to sit above on the Flash NativeStage.
For mobile you could look into using an ANE to access mapping APIs.

Or Distriqt sell a range of ANE's, mapping included.
