Chrome developer tool how to profile webworkers? - google-chrome

I looked at How to profile web workers in Chrome? etc but the advise there is for older versions of chrome and now seem to be dated.
How can I profile the memory of a web worker (take snapshots and compare them) in chrome >86 ?

In the Memory panel, you have to select which JavaScript VM you want to profile:

Loadrunner during recording with truclient protocol chrome/firefox instances were opening in incognito mode

In Loadrunner Truclient protocol while recording the web application Google Chrome/Firefox instances is opening in incognito mode but the issue is my application will not work incognito mode.
My application is working fine in only normal mode of Google Chrome/Firefox instances.
Could anyone please let me know during recording with truclient how to change the Chrome/Firefox instances from incognito mode to normal mode.
You already posted this question on the official product forum (https://community.softwaregrp.com/t5/LoadRunner-Practitioners-Forum/Urgent-Truclient-chrome-instance-is-opening-in-Incognito-mode/m-p/1624503) and got a response by the lead developer of the TruClient protocol.
His answer is:
TruClient runs the browser in Incognito/Privacy mode to allow separation of
Vusers during a load test.
This cannot be disabled or changed.
Perhaps you can elaborate on why your application is not working in these
modes, so we can try to find a workaround.
and then
Some browser features behave differently in privacy mode.
For example, IndexedDB cache mechanism is not implemented in Firefox
private mode [See the bug in Mozilla]
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781982
From the error you mentioned, it seems this is related a similar browser issue.
As mentioned before, it is not possible to run TruClient in non-private mode.
Workaround: Run one full GUI Virtual User in a singular operating system instance. run one of these per business process on dedicated OS instances. Run the remainder of your load using API level (HTTP) virtual users.

It is possible to auto-run an extension for chrome for windows 10?

Our company has installed TV Kiosk around our locations for our employee communication. We are using HDMI Intel Compute sticks with Windows 10 with a chrome browser to view various URL websites.
We have an extension app Rotisserie 1 which scrolls through various URL websites. To start the application you have to click on the extension in the bar. We need to develop a script to launch chrome and start running a chrome extension with out any human interaction.
Our company is posting this a job/gig and is willing to take bids.
There is a –kiosk flag you can use:
https://www.sitepoint.com/google-chrome-kiosk-mode/
If you specify Chromebit as the hardware option this would be easy. It's like a compute stick but it runs Chrome OS.
This support article is for Chromebook but the concept is the same. You can manage all your kiosks without having to be in the building!

Does the Chrome Bluetooth API work on Windows Mobile?

TLDR: Can the Chrome Bluetooth API be used on the Windows mobile platform?
I'm on a quest to find a solution for bluetooth connectivity across various platforms.
We plan on having native iOS and Android versions for our app, and a web app for other platforms (limited time and budget).
The setup of our product requires a one-time bluetooth connection to configure a wireless connection if necessary. This is fine for the iOS and Android versions of the app, but presents a problem for desktops/laptops or Windows mobile users.
The option for our device to act as an accesspoint has been considered, but it's not a very user-friendly solution. It needs to be easy enough your grandmother can set it up, and switching to another wireless network doesn't qualify.
In my research, I've come across the Chrome Bluetooth API available in Chrome Browsers starting in version 37. I'm wondering how accessible this would be for, say, the Windows mobile crowd. Or laptop and desktops running Windows, ChromeOS, etc.
Thanks in advance!
First, that api is not available to the web, it is available for Chrome Packaged Apps, which are published to and installed from the Chrome Web Store (they do not have a URL you can just visit).
Second, I do not think that Chrome Apps are available for windows mobile, though they are supported for all the desktop platforms. (Make sure that the bluetooth api support you need is fully support across all platforms, though, since there are some limitations).
Finally, there is ongoing work for an upcoming web-bluetooth api which will be available for the open web -- but that is some ways away.
Best of luck.

Chrome DevTools Network Throttling in Windows 7

From the documents of Chrome DevTool I have see this,
One key aspect for the responsiveness of a site is its network performance. Fear not, the DevTools offers network throttling. Now you can test your site against different network conditions and optimize for them.
Network conditioning does bandwidth throttling and latency manipulation. The bandwidth is how much speed the client has to talk to the server while latency is the delay in connection. A few presets are available in the network dropdown, as well as the ability to go completely offline. All changes only affect this tab's traffic; your other tabs are unaffected.
But I am unable to find this option Chrome with Windows 7.
From the Chrome DevTools page:
Note: Some of our documentation may be ahead of the stable version of Chrome. If you are unable to locate a feature listed, we recommend trying Chrome Canary which contains the latest version of the DevTools.

Viewing offline HTML5 site (not connected to network)

My team and I have just developed an offline portion of a web application utilizing HTML5, jquery and a cache manifest. The problem I am running into is when I disconnect from a wireless network, I am not able to view my offline site ( I receive a default screen from IE saying please connect to a network )?
I know that I have coded my offline cached site correctly because the site can be viewed when I disable my network adapter, just not a network adapter is on and not connected to a network?
Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass this default screen in IE when trying to view an offline site after disconnecting from a network?
Here is an offline page that was generated from our system:https://learn.questce.com/BranchAudit/OfflineSync/149/55/Michael-Kirk201372692619.html
IE9 does not support cache manifest. IE 10+ does, but it seems if you close the browser you can't re-open the site while offline (see my question here).
I did not get your question very clearly. But from what i understand, i will advice you to check out the offline browsing feature of internet explorer.
If you have already tried it and it is not working properly then you can try to run it in a browser named: "BackStreet Browser 3.2".
It is a high speed downloading browser and it is capable of downloading "HTML", "Java applets", "graphics" and many more features.
You can also view more details about this browser from: http://www.spadixbd.com/backstreet/
