Displaying LinkedIn content with `iframe` - html

I am making my website, and I want to put my LinkedIn profile in the Bio section. However, when I use iframe, I get that LinkedIn refused to connect. Is there a way to embed my LinkedIn profile in my website using HTML? Thanks!
<iframe src="https://www.linkedin.com/in/your-name"></iframe> yields:

LinkedIn allows you to create a badge, and put that badge in your portfolio/website. So, in order to make a LinkedIn badge, follow these steps:
From your LinkedIn profile, click on Contact Info which is next to the number of your connections.
Then click on the pen at the top right corner to edit the Contact Info.
The first thing you'll notice is your LinkedIn profile link. Click on it.
A new page will be opened, you'll see a column at the right of the page, and at its end, you'll find a box entitled with Public Profile badge and a Create a badge button at the bottom. Click on that button.
Copy the script tag and paste it at the bottom of your HTML sheet.
Scroll down, you'll find 4 designs for your badge. Select the proper one and copy its code from the bottom of it and paste it where you want the badge to be shared.
I know it's a long journey, but it's worth it.
NOTE: The link to your LinkedIn profile will always open in the current tab, even if you add to the a tag the attributes target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer". If you want the link to be opened in a new tab, put this line of code inside the head tag at the beginning of your HTML sheet <base target="_blank" />.
Another IMPORTANT Note: After putting the base tag inside your head tag, every single a tag inside that sheet will be opened in a new tab by default.
HAPPY CODING AND GOOD LUCK

Browsers these days prevent this from occurring by expecting iframes to only frame pages from the same site. It's to prevent clickjacking. and it's controlled via the X-Frame-Options header. You should see a similar error on dev tools, if you press F12 you should see this error
*Clickjacking, also known as a “UI redress attack”, is when an attacker uses multiple transparent or opaque layers to trick a user into clicking on a button or link on another page when they were intending to click on the top level page.*
Your hosting provider may have a policy in place to prevent this from occuring, or if that's you, you will be able to amend this default value on your server.
You can disable this via Chrome for your development.

Links not working on Facebook Page Custom Tab

I have created a custom tab for a Facebook page. Everything is displaying, the only issue happening is none of the link in that tab is working. Is there a special code that I need to add for Facebook Tab page in order to make the links work?
This is the facebook tab.
https://www.facebook.com/AstellasUS/app/2475799012460272/
And the links I have used basic HTML below
<li>Twitter: twitter.com/astellasus</li>
<li>LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/astellas-pharma</li>
<li>YouTube: youtube.com/user/AstellasUS</li>
<li>Website: astellas.us</li>
They are “not working”, because those sites forbid being displayed inside a frame on a different domain, via the X-Frame-Options header.
Trying to open those sites inside the app iframe doesn’t make that much sense to begin with - so simply add target="_blank" to those links, so that they open in a new window/tab.

Markdown Anchor links can't be clicked twice

I'm writing some documentation using GitHub's built in wiki (using Markdown syntax).
The problem I have had with anchor tags is that once I have clicked that anchor once, manually scrolled down to it again, and try to click it, it won't work anymore.
a) The place where the anchor links jump to.
##<a name="listofactions">List of Actions</a>
b) An example of an anchor link
[Back to List of Actions](#listofactions)
I also tried html in markdown syntax
Back to List of Actions
And even tried linking to the full url with the # and anchor appended.
Back to List of Actions
They all work, but when I manually scroll down to the anchor link again and click it, it doesn't bring me back to (a) anymore. Unless I click on a different anchor link.
How can I write it such that the anchor links can work regardless?
There is nothing wrong with your Markdown. This is simply how browsers work. The first time you clink the link (when viewing the same page), the URL in the address bar of your browser changes from http://example.com/path/to/your/page to http://example.com/path/to/your/page#someanchor. As that is a different URL, the browser will navigate to the new URL by scrolling to the appropriate position on the page. However, as you read the page and scroll to a different position, the URL remains the same. Finally, the second time you click the link, the URL is already http://example.com/path/to/your/page#someanchor so there is no change in the URL and as far as the browser is concerned, you are already there so no navigation happens and the page does not scroll.
There may be some JavaScript tricks you can use to trick the browser into behaving as you want, but those won't work on GitHub as they won't let you include any JavaScript in your pages for security reasons.
What you could do as a workaround (assuming you have a long page and want to easily find the specific location again) is first click the [back] button (taking you back to http://example.com/path/to/your/page) in your browser's navigation bar and then click the [forward] button (returning you to http://example.com/path/to/your/page#someanchor) which should trigger the browser to navigate to the location and scroll the page.
Try this:
...
<a name="listofactions"></a>
## List of actions
Mind the blank line between the HTML tag and the markdown markup.
Then call it via [link-to-anchor](#listofactions)
Should work.
Hope to have helped!
Add the attribute target="_self"

Facebook, StaticHTML and form summission

This is weird!
I have set up a form using RapidMailer, and on an external site it works fine. (Just to complicate matters, the form is within a <div> as I display a background image, and then use the <div> to position the signup box halfway down the page)
But ...
Put it within an Facebook (Thunderpenny) StaticHTML page, (which I think is <iframe>?) and whilst I can enter name/email, and the submit button shows mouse up/mouse down events, it just won't submit.
I tried adding "pointer-event:auto" to the div so that it was to the fore, but no go. And no good asking the app creator as I doubt I'll get a response. Anyone any ideas? (** I could include page code, but it's 90% links to external js files Rapidmailer sets up)
Is it 'cos I got a <div> within an <iframe>? Do I need to add an <object> to the code somewhere???
It turns out that for some reason, the HTML code cannot find / use the javascripts even with direct URL's. I strongly suspect it's to do with "cross browser" limitations. In otherwords, the StaticHTML <iframe> is on one server, and the HTML code is trying to access javascript on a second server. And as the RapidMailer script is using three scripts direct from jquery.com, it's difficult to know what can be eliminated as they all contain error trapping routines.
In the end, I had to add a direct link to a status update on the Facebook page, and redirect it to the signup form on my blog. I then pinned the post the top. Alas, now for some reason it won't display a graphic with the link, and instead insists on showing the URL itself! Oh well!

How to dynamically link button in DotNetNuke 7

I am facing an issue with DNN7 link manager. I have a created a parent site like for example www.dnndemo.com.In home page i created a contact us button(Not included this in main navigation) in home page which will link to contact us page using link manager editor. So the path looks like www.dnndemo.com/contact-us. But if i a create a child site for the same URL i.e www.dnndemo.com/test now when i click on the contact us button which i already created will not redirect to my contact us page. This button still has parent URL link.
Is there any possibility that we can change the URL of the button dynamically based on the parent or child url.Hope i am clear on the issue.Help is much appreciated.Thanks.
Create the link as a relative link, rather than as an absolute one.
In your example, make the link "/contact-us" and DNN will take care of the rest.
If you go to Host, HTML Editor Manager you will find a setting to force the editor to generate relative links automatically, so that should help you in the future. (There are other useful options you might want to adjust there as well/(

Trying to create a custom page tab... can't add the app to a page

I'm trying to create a relatively basic custom fan page tab with Developer, and for some reason I'm unable to add the app to any pages. In the past with other similar , I've had a "view app profile page" link on the left, but for some reason it's not showing up.
Am I missing a step?
Go to: https://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=YOUR_APP_ID&next=YOUR_URL where YOUR_APP_ID is found in your app settings, and YOUR_URL is indeed the URL of the tab (this has to be there an correct). This will take you to the Add to Page Dialog of your page.
This is taken from this tutorial: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/appsonfacebook/pagetabs/
If you want to make a button so that anyone can add the tab to their pages check DMCS' link.
