When I send myself a test email on my iPhone XS Max running iOS 13.5.1 it works well and displays like this:
But then if I rotate the phone horizontally it then does this:
And then when I turn it back to portrait mode it does this:
I am pretty sure this is a bug with the iOS mail app and not my code, however I want my signature to display well on any ordination. Why is this occurring? How can I fix this? I've tried adding in some breakes (<br>) and padding with no luck.
It's quite possible you need to put the span element within a table too. Alternatively, an easier option would be to use a paragraph tag instead of a span (make it a block element, not inline, in other words).
i.e.:
<p style="font-family:'Open Sans','Helvetica','Arial', sans-serif;color:#acacac;font-size: 10px;">This communication (including any attachments) is intended only for the recipient(s) identified in the message, and may contain information that is business proprietary/confidential, privileged, or otherwise protected by law. I'm very very new to html. I'm mostly copy-pasting bits of code as my framework and customizing it to make my emails work. I have this bit of code for my email, but I can't seem to get the opt-in button to center. I've tried reading other similar questions, but my knowledge of coding is that of a beginner, and I can't understand how their coding solutions, in which the code is slightly different, relates to my code to find a solution. I was adding style=text-align: center; in a few spots, but it wasn't working. There were other solutions, but I didn't quite understand how they would work in my code. I've been trying to fix this things for hours now. So very frustrated.
Other than the centering it works in the email.

Going off what you have, I think throwing style="text-align: center; on the <td> that your link button is in should do the trick. Also you might want to get rid of the other style="text-align: center; that is floating above the first tag, it is code that is showing up as text on your page.
Is there a simple way to remove or make invisible two characters from the beginning of a string using just html and css? You can keep for yourself the downvotes to the questions... I know it's a hack.
I'm using mailchimp to send abandoned cart reminder mails. The price of a product is displayed as
zl123
but I need to display it as
123 zl
I tried to change the settings of the money format, but I haven't found a solution, so I'll try to hack it in some other way. Mailchimp replaces automatically a placeholder so I have to process what they put instead of the price placeholder, I have no control on that.
I have an html mail template and I can use css with it but no javascript. If you know how to solve the format problem in the mailchimp settings directly it will also work of course. Any help is very appreciated.
This is the product list code and the tag is *|PRODUCT:PRICE|*:

A hacky way will be fixing and repeating the word twice!
p {
font-size: 20px;
}
.hide-first-two {
text-indent: -0.75em;
overflow: hidden;
display: inline-block;
}
.show-first-two {
width: 0.75em;
overflow: hidden;
display: inline-block;
}
<p>
<span class="hide-first-two">zl123</span>
<span class="show-first-two">zl123</span>
</p>
Or using inline style:
<p style="font-size: 20px;">
<span style="text-indent: -0.75em; overflow: hidden; display: inline-block;">zl123</span>
<span style="width: 0.75em; overflow: hidden; display: inline-block;">zl123</span>
</p>
Considering your text lz123 comming form server and appened in
<p>lz123</p>
You can add text in this <p> by using ::after and ::before css selectors
But if is not possible to remove or manipulate that text in <p> using css
For string manipulation i suggest to use Javascript or Jquery
Spent already a lot of resources to figure out how to optimize extJs HTML code.
I have simple combobox with a label and extjs throw on a page this:
<tr role="presentation" id="inputs[1].TypeId-inputRow" class="x-form-item-input-row">
<td role="presentation" id="inputs[1].TypeId-labelCell" style="" valign="top" halign="left" width="88" class="x-field-label-cell">
<label
id="inputs[1].TypeId-labelEl"
for="inputs[1].TypeId-inputEl"
class="x-form-item-label x-unselectable x-form-item-label-left"
style="width:83px;margin-right:5px;" unselectable="on">
Placement ID:
</label>
</td>
<td role="presentation" class="x-form-item-body x-form-trigger-wrap-focus" id="inputs[1].TypeId-bodyEl" colspan="2">
<table id="inputs[1].TypeId-triggerWrap" class="x-form-trigger-wrap" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="table-layout: auto;">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td id="inputs[1].TypeId-inputCell" class="x-form-trigger-input-cell">
<div class="x-hide-display x-form-data-hidden" role="presentation" id="ext-gen1311">
</div>
<input
id="inputs[1].TypeId-inputEl"
type="text"
class="x-form-field x-form-required-field x-form-text x-trigger-noedit x-form-focus x-field-form-focus x-field-default-form-focus"
autocomplete="off"
name="inputs[1].TypeId"
placeholder="DATA SOURCE"
readonly="readonly"
aria-invalid="false"
data-errorqtip=""
style="width: 137px;">
</td>
<td valign="top" class=" x-trigger-cell x-unselectable" style="width:22px;" id="ext-gen1310">
<div class="x-trigger-index-0 x-form-trigger x-form-arrow-trigger x-form-trigger-first" role="button" id="ext-gen1309">

</table>
</td>
</tr>
How could I change tables inside a tables just for simple xtype: 'combobox'?
I have hundreds like that on a page, it slows down a lot because very heavy HTML code.
it could be done with simple div wit ha float on it, why does extJS renders all this table code?
If you want/need a simpler markup in Ext, the only way is to code your own component where you can define a simpler one.
There is no way of simplifying the Ext generated markup without a danger of breaking functionality or layout engine.
I'm trying to build a newsletter for an email campaign. I have to build it with tables and all that cause most of the email clients ignore thinks like div etc. now I have the problem that I would like to have the text obertauern ...... in one line and under it the line ( <hr> ) but its not working the way I would like to have it.
On the pic you can see what I'm trying to do and I put the html into jsfiddle.

just use the border property to create the line and change the p to a div so you do not put a lot of space after it:

<td colspan="2">
<div style="border-top: solid 1px #00668a;height:1px;">
Here is a jFiddle:
http://jsfiddle.net/qXxPb/2/
Try:
<td width="600" cellpadding="0" >
For the td where the text is located (or use something else than 600).
I fixed your jFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/mSLf4/5/
Should work like that, you missed some tablecells and I made your sentence in an extra row + set the cell to span over 2 cells.
Should work now, next time validate your code first please.
<td colspan="2">...</td>

here, i want to hide the first cell by using a css attribute and set the number in table first cell equal to the number in the para above. please refer the below screenshot.
There is a gap between the number start and also there is an extra cell(for which i gave class as 'null'), it should be hidden please refer to my second screen shot. please let me know how i can do this.
JsFiddle is here
you can modifie your css like this :
.main{
margin-left: 5.0em;
margin-right: 0.2em;
}
table.frame-all{
width: 97%;
border-collapse: collapse;
margin-top: 1em;
margin-bottom: 1em;
margin-left: 2em;
padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;
}
.frame-all td {
border: 0.080em solid;
padding-right: 0.4em;
padding: 7px 7px 7px 7px;
}
td.null {
border:none; !important
}
.para span.phrase {
text-indent: 0em;
font-weight: bold;
}
you may need some "adjustment", but it seems to be what you need.
Padding properties caused the gap between first row, and dates, also, i used "border : none;" on this first column to hide the border around the date. (it exist but you don't see it)
I Hope it may help you,
Best regards
