I want to try kontent-sample-blog-travel-vue project in github, and it has JSON contents under 'sample-data' directory in Delivery API format.
I made my new Kontent project, and try to use ManagementAPI to import json, but it becomes error because of wrong JSON format.
Please tell me how can I re-import JSON, which exported in Delivery API format.
you are right, to import data from Delivery API to Management API, you need to make the transformations.
I have started with the pull request, which should guide people on how to import data using backup manager CLI, or via template manager UI.
Once the pull request is merged, I will update this answer.
EDIT:
OK, the pull request is closed and now the Vue travel blog sample site is ready to be used as a template.
In the readme, you can find instructions on how to create your own Kontent project as data source.
If you have any more questions/issues, feel free to submit an issue (or pull request) right in the repository.
This repository was also submitted as one of the templates in the Kontent template manager.

I'm integration nuxtjs/content (https://content.nuxtjs.org/writing) for my contents. But I would like to have the json file generated from responses from my API.
How I can create a command to retrieve, maybe thought cron, the contents and save it in content/ folder?
You could indeed, depending of your hosting solution, have something running every midnight and rebuilding your app. Where you could run some Node.js script to create files in the given directories before it is handled by nuxt/content.
An example of code can be found here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/67689890/8816585
I already have some lists of data stored on my computer, and I want to upload them to my firestore database programmatically, without having to enter them one by one.
Have already seen some articles but none of them really worked for me.
***Note that I want to import the Initial Data that is not going to change over time, and the answer below is perfectly solving that.
I have about 100K documents to import, so programmatical upload was very crucial.
For webapp NodeJS project you can do following steps:
1) Visit https://console.firebase.google.com/project/YOUR_PROJECT_ID/settings/serviceaccounts/adminsdk and download .json file which authorizes your Firebase Admin SDK.
2) Upgrade your Firestore to Blaze plan (pay as you go) as free version doesn't support importing data. You can manage/limit your spending here.
3) Paste the code you see in the page from step 1 to your .js file and use admin to import data like this:
admin
.firestore()
.collection("NAME_OF_YOUR_ORGANIZATION")
.add({key: 'value', key2: 'value2'})
If you want to edit an existing document, you can do it like this:
admin
.firestore()
.collection("NAME_OF_YOUR_ORGANIZATION")
.doc("UID_OF_EXISTING_DOCUMENT")
.set({key: 'value', key2: 'value2'})
I suggest you to checkout the Admin SDK documentation.
my application is having backend n Java and front-end in React.I am getting response for an API from server as JSON and rendering that to a page.l want to provide a download option with download as PDF and Excel.Can some one please guide me what will be the best option for it.
You can use stimulsoft.js for this.
You have to download stimulsoft deisgner
You have to design a report which surely meets your json format
Integrate min.js of stimulsoft into your project
Modify it as per your requirements.
Follow the instructions given by stimulsoft.
I haven't been able to find an example yet but is there a way to use R to send requests to a server? I know of packages that will allow you to convert data to and from JSON files. Essentially I want to request certain data from a server I have set up, that server will then compile a JSON file depending on what I have requested and then R will download the JSON file and then convert it into an R friendly format. I know how to download a JSON file from the server its just the request part that is the issue. Can anyone give an example?
Thanks;
For more info: I'm building a Shiny web app in R. I also have the packages rjson and RJSONIO
You can use a package like httpRequest to send/receive request from server, including JSON payload.
This package has documentation in the form of a PDF.
PS: there may be newer packages available, but this one works for me. Feel free to look for one that'd fit your needs.
I am trying to find the best way to import all of our Lighthouse data (which I exported as JSON) into JIRA, which wants a CSV file.
I have a main folder containing many subdirectories, JSON files and attachments. The total size is around 50MB. JIRA allows importing CSV data so I was thinking of trying to convert the JSON data to CSV, but all convertors I have seen online will only do a file, rather than parsing recursively through an entire folder structure, nicely creating the CSV equivalent which can then be imported into JIRA.
Does anybody have any experience of doing this, or any recommendations?
Thanks, Jon
The JIRA CSV importer assumes a denormalized view of each issue, with all the fields available in one line per issue. I think the quickest way would be to write a small Python script to read the JSON and emit the minimum CSV. That should get you issues and comments. Keep track of which Lighthouse ID corresponds to each new issue key. Then write another script to add things like attachments using the JIRA SOAP API. For JIRA 5.0 the REST API is a better choice.
We just went through a Lighthouse to JIRA migration and ran into this. The best thing to do is in your script, start at the top-level export directory and loop through each ticket.json file. You can then build a master CSV or JSON file to import into JIRA that contains all tickets.
In Ruby (which is what we used), it would look something like this:
Dir.glob("path/to/lighthouse_export/tickets/*/ticket.json") do |ticket|
JSON.parse(File.open(ticket).read).each do |data|
# access ticket data and add it to a CSV
end
end
