Hovering Button Issues - html

I have placed a button on my page and whenever I hover over that button, my text and slightly shifts upwards. Please help (I am a beginner/novice/green) - the code will be shown below
.btn {
font-weight: 700px;
border-radius: 500px;
text-transform: uppercase;
border-color: none;
padding: 10px;
}
.btn-xl {
padding: 1rem 2rem;
background-color: #4B307B;
border-color: white;
}
.btn-xl:hover {
background-color: gold;
border-width: 3px;
border-color: #4B307B;
}
hr {
border-color: gold;
width: 150px;
max-width: 65px;
}
<div class="container d-flex align-items-center h-100">
<div class="row">
<header class="text-center col-12">
<h1 class="text-uppercase"><strong>Graduation Support</strong></h1>
</header>
<div class="buffer col-12"></div>
**
<section class="text-center col-12">
<hr>
<button class="btn btn-primary btn-xl">Find out more</button>
</section>**
</div>
</div>

You need to add the border-width: 3px; to the .btn-xl class as well, not just the hover class. I believe its the border appearing on the hover that is causing the issue. See here:
.btn{
font-weight: 700px;
border-radius: 500px;
text-transform: uppercase;
border-color: none;
padding: 10px;
}
.btn-xl{
padding: 1rem 2rem;
background-color: #4B307B;
border-color: white;
border-width: 3px;
}
.btn-xl:hover{
background-color: gold;
border-width: 3px;
border-color: #4B307B;
}
hr{
border-color: gold;
width: 150px;
max-width: 65px;
}
<div class="container d-flex align-items-center h-100">
<div class="row">
<header class="text-center col-12">
<h1 class="text-uppercase"><strong>Graduation Support</strong></h1>
</header>
<div class="buffer col-12"></div>
**<section class="text-center col-12">
<hr>
<button class="btn btn-primary btn-xl">Find out more</button>
</section>**
</div>
</div>

If you want your columns on smaller displays to be the full width of the display, use col-12 without a size. Then pick your width to switch to two columns half the width of the display and add the appropriate class as in col-md-6. That will give you one full width column from a smartphone up to a tablet (767px wide). On anything larger (more than 767px wide), you would have two columns, each half the display width.

Text keeps pushing the button in bootstrap

So, i have some <p> tag and a text in it, and it's positioned to the left of the button. If the text keeps getting bigger, the button keeps being pushed to the right. I want to position all the buttons in the bottom-right corner of every div. Here's my HTML:
#dugme {
font-weight: bold;
left: 15vw;
line-height: 2vw;
color: white;
background-color: rgb(17, 142, 146);
text-align: center;
border: white 2px solid;
}
#dugme:hover{
background-color: aliceblue;
color: rgb(17, 142, 146);
}
#stripovi {
padding-top: 2em;
margin-bottom: 1em;
margin-left: 10px;
}
#comic {
display: inline-block;
background-color: rgb(230, 200, 119);
border-radius: 3px;
margin-right: 15px;
margin-top: 5px;
margin-bottom: 5px;
}
.naziv {
font-family: 'Fredoka One', cursive;
float: right;
margin-top: 100px;
word-wrap: break-word;
margin-top: auto;
margin-left: auto;
}
.container-fluid{
background-color: rgb(74, 198, 202);
}
<div class="row" id="stripovi">
<div class="comic w-50">
<div class="comic-img-top d-flex align-items-center form-group" id="comic">
<div class="thumbnail">
<img class="img-responsive" src="slike/c1.jpg" alt="comicbook">
<div class="naziv">
<p class="col p-2 m-0">Heavy Metal Comic</p>
<p class="col p-2 m-0" style="color: rgb(155, 151, 151); text-align: left;">ID:0101</p>
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-info" id="dugme">Dodaj</button>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="comic w-50">
<div class="comic-img-top d-flex align-items-center form-group" id="comic">
<div class="thumbnail">
<img class="img-responsive" src="slike/c2.jpg" alt="comicbook">
<div class="naziv">
<p class="col p-2 m-0">Deadly Class</p>
<p class="col p-2 m-0" style="color: rgb(155, 151, 151); text-align: left;">ID:0101</p>
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-info" id="dugme">Dodaj</button>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
This is what the buttons look like.As you can see in the second comic, the text moved the button to the right. I want to make the button remain in the same position for every product, and that position would be the bottom right corner of this rectangle.
Thank you in advance!
You can add
position: relative to comic-img-top
remove the id="comic" and instead use classes. ID should be unique, so you shouldn't repeat it.
Add another custom class to form-group, the container which holds the button.
CSS
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
right: 0;
This will give you the desired result
#comic { // Make this a class and not an ID if it is going to be repeated
position: relative;
}
.form-group.new-button-container-class{
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
right: 0;
}
<HTML>
<div class="form-group new-button-container-class">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-info" id="dugme">Dodaj</button>
</div>
Add a
position: absolute;
This makes your element stay on a position. Therefore this function is called absolute. The position property specifies the type of positioning method used for an element (static, relative, absolute, fixed, or sticky). It's syntax is to be used as position: static|absolute|fixed|relative|sticky|initial|inherit;. Or if you like to use the javascript approach:
object.style.position="absolute"
For total use change:
#dugme {
font-weight: bold;
left: 15vw;
line-height: 2vw;
color: white;
background-color: rgb(17, 142, 146);
text-align: center;
border: white 2px solid;
}
to:
#dugme {
font-weight: bold;
left: 15vw;
line-height: 2vw;
color: white;
background-color: rgb(17, 142, 146);
text-align: center;
border: white 2px solid;
position: absolute;
}
Now everything you need to do is just align everything right.

Align button at bottom of floating div

I have an overview page with tiles and I use the matchheight library to dynamically determine the height of a row. Now I would like to align the 'more' buttons at the bottom of the div so that it doesn't look as messy as in the screenshot on smaller screens.
I tried making the button "position: absolute" with "bottom: 20px" and "left: 40%" but that causes problems with responsiveness. On some resolutions that's okay, but on other's the button is too far to the right.
Can I solve this in a nice way without having to use the media attribute for each resolution?

This is the correct solution, adding a "transform:translateX(-50%);" for alignment. Thanks for the help!

letter-spacing: 2px;

transform:translateX(-50%);
margin-bottom: 20px;

As you can see it's:
And it it looks good after I change <div class="row section-bluer"> to <div class="row-fluid section-bluer">
Why is there row-fluid needed?
And
Why there is free space from left side? I can't fix it no matter what I try to do.
And generally what is the difference between row and row-fluid?
I look for this in documentation https://v4-alpha.getbootstrap.com/layout/grid/, every page, and there is absolutely no information about this.
And everywhere in code in bootstrap 4 documentation is used row, never row-fluid Why?
Why in my example I need row-fluid? What is difference in general between these two?
There are too many nested container/container-fluid. You only need 1 outer container, and nested columns should always be placed directly in .row.
Pseudo code...
container
row
col-*
row
col-*
col-*
/row
/col
/row
/container

You could set position: relative; on the parent div.
Then set position:absolute; bottom:0; on the child div
you need to use css position:relative to the container div, and position:absolute;bottom:0; to your button, so button will go to the bottom of your container.
