If you are trying to switch between sections on your webpage. Try adding section and giving them id. Then from any anchor tag you can reach the section by adding the following code.

To switch between sections on your webpage,Use the id selector ,

"Opening" will be displayed as a link on the webpage. On clicking it, you will be switched on the same webpage where the id is "Opening".

The best I can do so far is to embed code from just one html file. On the preview page, I get a scrollable box taking up half the page that contains my desired output, surrounded by white space. Rather, I would prefer my page take up the entire page, if that makes any sense.
(In the end, I decided to create my site on Git Hub instead because it lets me directly post my HTML files.)

You can use a button and when clicking it, change the url of the iFrame using Javascript like this:
document.getElementById('iframe-id').src = newLink;
You can use the data-attribute to store the wanted link in your html.
In case you want to do that: It is not possible to react to things outside of an iFrame through an iFrame. So you cannot put a link in iFrame1 and have it reload iFrame2, because those are two different websites and don't see each other.
Now, idk what exactly you are planing to do, but I really hope, that you don't want to make your entire site like that. Using iFrames is really only useful for things like inserting widgets (like Codepen etc.), but should never be used to display information from your own site. If you don't want to copy your html for every site then use PHP. If you don't want to reload your entire webpage (which is pretty much never a problem) you can use AJAX-requests to load parts of your website. (Frameworks like React.js, Angular.js and Vue.js do that for you)
I always wonder how pages like this works on link preview structure. specifically "Infobox Section"? (here) this section appears top of the content but always excluded from link previews.

You can't exclude any content from being visible to another website; your DOM is always publicly visible. Rich Preview just shows the <meta> information for a website for use on sites like Google and Facebook. If you don't want information to show on Rich Preview, simply don't include the relevant information in your <meta> tags.
I have a program that let's people design web pages graphically. Then hitting Publish creates an html file that is supposed to be an exact copy of what they created. The elements created by the editor are HTML elements. Publish then gathers up all the elements that have been created and for each one adds it to a string with
canvasOuterHTML += clone$[0].outerHTML;
So all the styles, text, etc., get put on the string. This string, along with some other information is written to the .html version of the page, and when this .html is loaded into a browser the browser displays the page!
But something is expanding the published page vertically. I've created the simple page below to illustrate. The first image is the page in the editor. The second image is what the html displays in the browser.
I'm completely stumped because the HTML and CSS for the two markups is exactly the same, so how can one be higher? I can't even think of a mechanism that would do that. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
