Rundeck Copy File to Windows Server very slow - windows-server

I'am trying to copy a 19mb exe file from my linux rundeck server to a windows server using the copy file job in rundeck. This Job needs 2 - 3 hours to copy that 19mb exe.
I connect to the server with winrm.
Copy from rundeck server to linux servers works fast.
Windows Server Standard 2019

If you check the PyWinRM plugin limitations, maybe 19 megabytes is too much to transfer (works well to transfer scripts for example), perhaps it's a good idea to create a command step that copies that file.

Multiple xampp installations for multiple php versions

I have configured two Xampp servers in different drives. I have Xampp for php 7.4 and php 8 in C drive and D drive respectively. Previously, before installation of the xampp in the D drive, I have configured FastCGI on xampp server, the one in C drive, for running project of php 5.6 version. Hence I used to use php 5.6 and 7.4 both on C drive xampp server.
The fact is, the apache and mysql services are registered in WINDOWS 10 registry, where the ImagePath for both services is set at
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
Whenever we START the apache and mysql services from Xampp server it checks for the respective ImagePath in the Windows registry to run both the services.
The issue is, After configuration of second xampp in D drive, I have to manually change the ImagePath="C:\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe" -k runservice of Apache2.4 and ImagePath=C:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe --defaults-file=c:\xampp\mysql\bin\my.ini mysql of mysql services which is getting a bit hectic as I have to run multiple projects of different PHP versions at the same time.
I need to know any way around for this if anyone has !
The setup i use for my preference and work is,
Xampp (latest) 8.2
Laragon(maintains multiple php versions)
On xampp i use database and on laragon i use php.
In this manner i get to run single database against any php version.
2nd i get multiple version of php on just a single click. Yes ot takes time to make this environment first but it's good. I have on my system 5.6, 7.0,7.2,7.3,7.4,8.0,8.2

How can I get MAMP to update the local files automatically?

We're running a local server for database management, it's old software, but works. A replacement is incoming, but not ready yet.
I've had to learn to manage it all in pretty quick time, so I'm very much a beginner.
Overview:
The database is running in Sequel Pro 1.0.2 (MySQL 5.5.34).
The main interface is via a custom site in PHP.
The server is run via MAMP 3.0.5.
The system is Mac OS 10.10.5 as this is the last version of Mac Server with the VPN that we can use for remote access to the site.
I also have a cloned version of the system off-site for when the main office internet goes down and we still need access to the site/database, and the entire MAMP folder is being automatically backed up.
Problem
I've found all the database files in MAMP>db>mysql, however I've noticed that the .MYI and .MYD files are only modified when MAMP is stopped.
This means the backup files are always out of date.
If I manually create a new view directly within Sequel Pro, then the files get updated.
For example, in the Sequel Pro database, I can see the latest item created was on the 15th (today) at 09:13, but the .MYI/.MYD files show last modified yesterday at 08:47.
Is there a way I can get the database files to update automatically without needing to manually stop the MAMP server so that the backup is current?
Again, very much a beginner with this so any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Best free tool to take scheduled backup of MySQL from Windows which is installed on Linux server

I have installed MySQL database in VM and planned to take a backup periodically and it can be monitored and executed from Windows Machine.
But when I searched I could not find any full version software to take backup and mysql version is 8
Please advice.
You could use MySQLBackupFTP.
There is a free version that works quite well:
https://mysqlbackupftp.com/features/
Using MySQLBackupFTP you can also connect to your MySQL database through phpMyAdmin if you can't get the TCP/IP access running. That is probably the easiest way.
If you want to have email confirmations about the execution of the back up you would either need to move to a paid version after a while or you simply use GMail or some other email provider. Easy to set up - and using GMail for this (or some other provider of your own) keeps everything free of charge.
If all you need is a regular dump, you can schedule a bash script in CRON to run mysqldump regularly. If you then need access to this dump on your windows machine you can just ftp the dump files across or access them via a samba share.

How to fix 'Managed SQL Server Installer has stopped working'

I am trying to install SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition on Windows Server 2008. I have done all the process till the Installation correctly. However, the installer displays the message "Managed SQL Server Installer has stopped working".
No online Solution has been provided yet....
Anyone sorted this problem before?
This is usually a problem with your installation of .NET framework. E.g:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/34671131-a095-4068-b4d8-ab5ef6f5b8cc/managed-sql-server-installer-has-stopped-working
Check that your installations are all in working order by using the tools on this site:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx
You may have to re-install any or all of your .NET framework versions.
Instead of trying several methods that have not been approved, it is better to repair the MSSQL Server installation. On the other hand, there is some other issues that can be encountered during the repair process i.e. Installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 as shown below.
In this case, if you have trouble during .NET Framework installation, you can install it by following the steps below (requires Windows 8, 8.1 or 10) setup disc or ISO file):
1) First you'll need to copy Windows 8 setup files to your hard disk. If you have Windows 8 setup ISO copied in your system, you can mount it by right-click on it and select "Mount" option or you can extract its content using 7-Zip.
If you have Windows 8 setup disc and don't want to copy its content, its ok. Just insert the disc in your CD/DVD drive so that Windows can access its content.
2) Now open Command Prompt as Administrator as mentioned here and then provide following command:
Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:F:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
Here "F:" represents the CD/DVD drive letter in your system which contains Windows 8 setup disc. Replace it with the correct drive letter according to your system.
If you extracted Windows 8 setup files in a directory, replace F:\sources\sxs with the correct path.
3) As soon as you execute the above mentioned command, Windows will start installing .NET Framework 3.5 in your system and it'll not require Internet connection.
It'll take a few minutes and you'll get a message that the operation completed successfully.
4) That's it. Now you have installed .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8 without using Internet connection.

XAMPP phpmyadmin mysql user manual?

This is actually 2 questions...
Background:
After using the command line in MySQL for my database introductory classes (very enjoyable), I had been required to use a DBA tool and downloaded XAMPP as identified below.
The transition to a GUI would be ok if I understood the interface for creating database tables...
Q1.I have searched the net and Amazon trying to locate a user manual for XAMPP... does anyone have an actual manual? At this point it is trial and error.
Q2. As a student I am curious about the use of these tools in the real world... why not use the command line provided in MySQL?

Xampp is just a collection of other tools... the sql tool, phpMyAdmin, has it's own manual.
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/docs.php
As for why to use xampp, it's meant for simplicity. If you were going to use ALL of the tools in the package (web server, database, php interpreter, etc, etc) it would take a considerable amount of time and effort to install and configure. xampp does everything for you. I don't use xampp, myself.
