problem with navbar alignment of the first - html

So I get this script:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://stackpath.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.4.1/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<nav class="navbar bg-light navbar-expand-sm justify-content-center">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="/test2">
<img src="css/favimg/logo.png" height="40" alt="test">
</a>
<ul class="navbar-nav">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Link 2</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Link 3</a>
</li>
</ul>
</nav>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.4.1.slim.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/popper.js#1.16.0/dist/umd/popper.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://stackpath.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.4.1/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
The problem is that I get the next problem the first link2 is not aligned with the main logo
explenation photo of the result

I see no problem in snippet but if you facing this problem, you can add align-items-center class to fix this issue.
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://stackpath.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.4.1/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<nav class="navbar bg-light navbar-expand-sm justify-content-center">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="/test2">
<img src="css/favimg/logo.png" height="40" alt="test">
</a>
<ul class="navbar-nav align-items-center">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Link 2</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Link 3</a>
</li>
</ul>
</nav>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.4.1.slim.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/popper.js#1.16.0/dist/umd/popper.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://stackpath.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.4.1/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>

Why nav-link color doesn't turn white for this dark Bootstrap 4 Nav code snippet? I mean, they should work as Navbars. Shouldn't they?

EDIT: I've added a third item, to make more clear the horizontal layout.
You are missing some of the proper semantics of Bootstrap.
Your nav should be wrapped in actual <nav> tags.
Your anchor tags should be wrapped in <li> tags.
you're not using the proper classes that usually go with the <ul> tag.
FYI: Note that there is a none-responsive (layout will stay horizontal) and a responsive layout (layout will shift into a vertical orientation on smaller screens).
Example of proper Bootstrap nav semantics
(non-responsive, items will stay in a horizontal layout):
<link href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap#4.0.0/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<main role="main">
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand navbar-dark bg-dark">
<ul class="navbar-nav me-auto">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Growing</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Know</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">What's New</a>
</li>
</ul>
</nav>
</main>
Example of proper Bootstrap nav semantics (responsive):
<link href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap#4.0.0/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<main role="main">
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-lg navbar-dark bg-dark">

<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Growing</a>

<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">What's New</a>

Bootstrap 4 align Logo to the left, Center Menu and top links on the right

I am currently having trouble creating 2 rows and getting align logo(heading) to the left, 'Home' and 'User' menu links to the top right corner. The second row should display 'Link1', 'Link2', 'Link3' menu in the center. The following code doesn't seem to align properly.
I have tried to use 'navbar-nav mr-auto' for logo but it didn't work. Also tried 'Home', 'About' links 'ml-auto'. It doesn't work.

Bootstrap 4 collapsing two navbars into one toggle button

I've been trying to apply this Bootstrap 4.0 - Two NavBars that collapse into one toggle answer to my issue but am not resolving it after some effort.
I'm trying to have the content of both navbars collapse into one toggle button.
The two issues are once collapsed to sm my toggle button doesn't display its content (from either target), and that at sm width my lower navbar does not maintain it's height. My code:

Use a single class to data-target the Navbars, instead of different id's. For example, give both the navbar-collapse elements the navbars class, and then the target is data-target=".navbars".
Demo: https://www.codeply.com/go/PvHpcBNuAp
Also, I'm not sure why you're using sticky-top on the 1st navbar. You should remove that otherwise the 2nd navbar will slide under the first on mobile when scrolling. If you want both navbars fixed at the top, see this answer.
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-sm navbar-dark bg-dark">
<button class="navbar-toggler" data-toggle="collapse" data-target=".navbars">
<span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
</button>
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse navbars" id="collapse_target1">

To control more than one navbar with one toggler use a class instead of an id for the data-target attribute. In the example below I used the class navbar1and2.
To maintain the height of the second navbar the same as in the uncollapsed state you can add style="min-height: 56px" to that navbar.
Click "run code snippet" below and expand to full page for testing:
