SSRS Show Toolbar on drill down sub report - reporting-services

I have a dashboard SSRS report in embedded in another web app.
In this report there are drill down reports(too many).
By default I set rc:stylesheet=hideToolbar for this main report. So the toolbar is hidden.
Now we want to show the Toolbar on specific drill down reports(not all of them).
Is there a way to do this?
I have tried to create a new stylesheet but as I'm not able to change rc:stylesheet parameter when I'm calling the drilldown report it doesn't work.

I understand what you are trying to do and know that this is achievable through custom stylesheets as well alternatively via a custom SSRS Toolbar UI (via old 2005/2010 mgmt and Execution SOAP SSRS APIs*).
But that may be way overkill for your situation.
My best suggestion with the current out-of-box behavior of SSRS as of MSSQL 2019 (applies to 2016 as well) would be to create a custom link or imageLink inside those subreports that you want to have an SSRS Toolbar for which then either pops up a small new browser window above the main report (or on a new tab) with the subreport- and per default SSRS behavior the toolbar will be there, or, if you want to be explicit you can add the SSRS qs param "&rc:Toolbar=true" to that link.
I have actually used both approaches on projects. It really depends on the requirements, priority and time ya know?
Let me know if I can try to further help in any way if anything I shared was useful.

Embed external URL into SSRS report

I am currently using SQL Server 2019.
I read in earlier editions of SSRS that you were not able to embed external web links into a SSRS report, it this still the case?
I currently have 4 separate KPI screen URL's written by our Group IT department and I would like to have all 4 KPI's on one screen so I though I would embed these into one SSRS Report.
Thanks

Where did you read that? It's never been true. There's even a doc page on how to do it: Add a hyperlink to a URL in a paginated report (Report Builder)

Combine multiple SSRS Report and publish that to SSRS native web portal

How can i combine couple of rdl reports and display that to SSRS native web portal. I already created that report and deployed to the server (SSRS Native portal) using Sql Server data tool 2015. But my client wants to view all reports in the same window. Although all reports has the same parameter.enter image description here

The SSRS native web portal doesn't contain a mechanism to link multiple reports and run them on the save page via shared parameters (or anything even like that).
You have two options:
Create the merged report yourself. You should be able to import (or copy/paste) the datasets from each report into a new report, link them all one one set of parameter(s), and copy paste the content of each report (then fix all broken references).
The option above is the naive way to merge three reports into one. Instead, you could create a new master report, add the shared parameter and then add each additional report as a subreport to the parent report. Tutorial here.
Create an ASP.NET application that wraps the multiple reports into a single page. This will be quite a bit of work if you have never done this, but you would be able to create a custom parameter(s), pass the parameter(s) into the each report through code and render the multiple reports on a single page.
I would recommend option number 2.

SSRS 2008 -- link to external website

My company is using SSRS 2008 for reporting services and there are 100's of different reports in it. After using SSRS 2008 for some charts we decided to to no use SSRS for charting and decided to use an open source javascript library to display charts. The main reason was to have some interactive charts!
I have now done a few charts in this open source library which itself is a asp.net webapp and have deployed it. I am wondering is there a way to add "links" to SSRS 2008 so when they are clicked user is redirected to this charts application. The main reason is to have one single area where employees will go for reports and charts.
I was thinking of creating an empty RDL file and on some 'onload' event just do a redirect but I have been unable to find if these reports fire any events!
Is there any other way to achieve it?
Right-click on the field you want to direct to your charting system, click Text Box Properties... and click Action. You want the Go to URL option, which you can use to enter a URL to redirect to.
Note that you can use expressions here to assist in going to the right chart, for example:
="http://mycharts/regionchart?Id=" & Fields!Region.Value

SSRS - disabling Export functionality based on User

I have a report in SSRS that needs to disable the "Export" functionality based on who the User is. Is this do-able? And, is it possible to disable all Export options except the PDF option
Thanks
Mike
Upon research, I found the below URL that basically says you can't disable "Export" on a report by report basis....only pre server. Also, it looks like, when using the ReportViewer control on an aspx page, you can disable "Export" types. The author suggest that SSRS incorporate this in the Reports Manager.

How can I embed Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Report Builder into my forms?

I don't want to open Report Builder from Report Manager. I want to embed Report Builder into my forms. Is there any way?
This is a very old topic, but I want to post a correct answer since it's one of the first results when searching for "Report Builder".
Simply add a WebBrowser control to your form and on Form_Load, navigate to the URL of the Reporting Services server. You'll have a no-frills "browser" - no back button, no stop, no refresh, but right-clicking on the page will do it.
I do not believe report builder uses anything other than the SSRS API to do its work. You will need to create your own report builder. One way to do this is to play with the microsoft one and monitor the traffic between your browser and the server with HTTPAnalyser or Fiddler. Then you can recreate the same web service calls fom your own app.
Have you had a look at the Report Builder standalone installer? v2.0 was just released in April, so it's possible that you haven't seen it. You can find it here.
I don't think it is possible to do this, given that the Report Builder 2.0 is a standalone application
What you could do however is create a shared data source on the server, and avail the link to the setup file for the installer in your application. Users can then connect to the data source and depending on their skill, create their own reports.
You may be able to subscribe to the appropriate service and build out a front end to talk to the service.
SQL Reporting Services is more of a server based reporting solution. If my embedding into your forms you mean that you want the end user to build reports from inside your application I suggest you look at a third-party tool to do this. I use Developer Express controls and they have a strong and reasonably priced solution for this. The product page is here.
I think it is easy.
You can drag Microsoft.ReportViewer control from toolbox to your webform in studio 2008.
Then you can open report builder to initialize your report.
At the end, that report can be viewed and exported when you run your report.
You should be able to create a hyperlink in your app to startup the click once Report Builder app. But it won't run within your form.
See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd795295.aspx for info on constructing the correct URL.
