I was referencing the above link to learn the SOOT and I was executing the command ./gradlew check in the sootTutorial folder of the repository.

P.S.(I really want to learn Soot. Please help me how to solve this exception)

Earlier in my Ubuntu 18.04, there were 2 version of Java installed. One with Java 8 and other the java 11.
I removed all the version of Java by following this https://askubuntu.com/questions/84483/how-to-completely-uninstall-java
And again I installed the java 8 on my system and after that I executed ./gradlew check then the build was successful.
