Zabbix remote command on windows - zabbix

I'm operating zabbix on windows servers.
I'm trying simple script execute via remote on zabbix,
So I modified target computer's zabbix_agentd.conf, EnableRemoteCommands 0 to 1.
And I ran successfully some windows command (like dir, run batch, tasklist) using zabbix_get command on zabbix server.
But the problem is what execute scripts on the Map is not functional.
The result is strange, and 2 patterns.
1.system.run['dir c:\dev\']
'system.run['dir' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
2.system.run[chcp 437 & dir] : referenced zabbix japan forum.
'system.run[chcp' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Volume in drive C is *********
Volume Serial Number is *******
Directory of C:\Windows\system32
File Not Found
Result1 is cannot executed the 'dir' but Result2 is executed but failed result seems like permission denine.
What's wrong with me? :(

Why is my xampp shell not finding mysql as a valid command?

I'm trying to use wpcli on xampp on windows, and following this tutorial -> https://lmilosis.wordpress.com/2020/01/26/19/
My issue arises entering this command
wp core config --dbname=wpcli_testing --dbuser=root --dbpass= --dbhost=localhost --dbprefix=wp_
Which results in ->
'"mysql --no-defaults --execute="' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
I have added exactly the following to the end of my system environment variable ;C:\xampp\mysql\bin;C:\xampp\php, but this has not helped the issue.

Zabbix external checks cannot be executed due to SELinux

I try to implement external checks in Zabbix 2.2. I've created simple bash script for SSL verification which should be executed by zabbix service. The script is located in /var/lib/zabbixsrv/externalchecks directory. Even if there are 777 permission for the .sh script I still receive message telling
unable to execute /var/lib/zabbixsrv/externalscripts/test.sh: Permission denied
I've got same message when I try to run the command even as root. The ls -Z /var/lib/zabbixsrv/externalscripts/test.sh command output says:
-rwxrwxrwx. zabbixsrv zabbixsrv unconfined_u:object_r:default_t:s0 /var/lib/zabbixsrv/externalscripts/test.sh
There is no message relating this in /var/log/massages. Does anybody know how to force selinux to allow execute zabbixsrv user the script without disabling selinux?
Which zabbix service (zabbix-server, zabbix-agent, ...) should execute the external checks script?
Did you tried to set AllowRoot=1 in /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf?
The main issue was in /etc/fstab configuration file. The Zabbix has defined as default values for script /var/lib/zabbixsrv/excernalscripts directory. My server has /var mounted with rw and noexec permissions.
I've already moved the script to different location and change the configuration file accordingly. Checks are working fine now.
Thanks everybody for any contribution relating this topic.

Strange response (about MySQL) for heroku login on windows (closed)

I have heroku toolbelt installed on Windows7 (x64 HomeEd). When i'm trying to login to heroku, i recieve strange message about MySQL (though MySQL already works fine with all software installed):
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
(c) Microsoft Corp., 2009. All rights reserved.
C:\windows\system32>heroku login
"MySQL" is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
"MySQL" is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
C:\windows\system32>
Exactly like shown - two times. As I found, heroku.bat does not invoke MySQL at any step. I think that OS runs some script (a kind of autoexec) just before or in parallel with heroku.bat, but i can't find the way used to do this. This is confirmed by the fact that when i start the other bat files the same two messages about MySQL appears.
Can you help me find how that strange script is invoked?
Detailed research shown that the reason is MySQL component, named "MySQL Fabric 1.5.3 & MySQL Utilities 1.5.3 1.5". During installation MySQL added it's location to Path environment variable. This caused to break Path variable contents with "&" symbol and any invocation of Path variable cause error
It seems that at some point a script tries to call MySQL.exe and this file can't be found. To solve this problem you should add the Directory containing MySQL.exe to %PATH%. First make sure MySQL.exe is located on your system. If you are not sure where it is, start CMD, go to your root directory (CD \) end enter dir /S MySQL.exe. This will search your drive for the file and show you the path, where it can be found. Save the path somewhere.
Now that you know where the file is is, you have to add it's location to %PATH%. To do so enter setx PATH "<NEWPATH>;%path%;" where is the path to the directory containing MySQL.EXE. Dont forget ;%path%;, this is very important. If you don't put it there it wil mess up your %PATH%.
Close the console, open a new one and type heroku login. This should fix the problem.
Now if you are not interested in fixing the error and just want to know where it comes from, you should post the code of the batch file that is executed by calling heroku login.
Just remove the C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Fabric 1.5 & MySQL Utilities 1.5\;C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Fabric 1.5 & MySQL Utilities 1.5\Doctrine extensions for PHP\; from your path (It is breaking things up, it gets added during MySQL installation)and add the MySQL bin path. For me it is C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7\bin

How to fix exit code issue while using WinSCP for SFTP from within SSIS package?

I am using SSIS 2005 to do some SFTPtasks using WinSCP. I googled about the error but couldn't make it work. I got this error:
[Execute Process Task] Error: In Executing "C:\Program Files\WinSCP\WinSCP.exe" "-script=C:\Documents and Settings\nian_z\Desktop\temp\SSISMovingSOA\removeSOA8.txt" at "C:\Program Files\WinSCP", The process exit code was "1" while the expected was "0".
Here is my WinSCP script that I use:
option batch abort
option confirm off
#open sftp://user:password#server:22
#cd /m/vo/Cont/fileftp
get OrderOutbound*
close
exit
For above script, I even tried leaving only one statement at a time, but still got error.
Here is the setup of the execute process task.
This is not an answer but an attempt to help you find a solution to your problem.
Try this:
Try the following steps to find out if your script is actually working outside of SSIS or not.
Click Windows Start and click Run...
Type cmd to open Command Prompt.
On the command prompt window, type the following command at the prompt to switch to the WinSCP installation directory. I have the WinSCP installed in the following directory. Change the path according to your environment settings.
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP"
If your WinSCP script file removeSOA8.txt is located in the path C:\Documents and Settings\userid\Desktop\temp\SSISMovingSOA\ with spaces, then type the following command by enclosing the script path in double quotes to run the script and also use the /log option to capture all the status messages.
WinSCP.exe "/script=C:\Documents and Settings\userid\Desktop\temp\SSISMovingSOA\removeSOA8.txt" /log=C:\temp\WinSCP_log.txt
After the script executes, your will find that a log file named WinSCP_log.txt will be created in the path C:\temp. Read through the file to identify if there are any error messages.
Attempt to run FTP in SSIS:
I tried downloading a file from FTP using WinSCP with the following script:
option batch abort
option confirm off
open ftp://myuserid:mypassword#ftp.myftpsite.com:21 -passive=on
cd /root/somefolder/
option transfer binary
get SomeFileOnFTP.txt c:\temp\
close
exit
Here are the settings how I have configured the Execute Process Task within the SSIS package.
The process ran successfully in BIDS.
Hope that gives you an idea.
If you are running the script from SQL Server job agent then mostly you will get this exit error.
Scenario: In my case I faced when i m trying to download a file from sFTP server.
Solution :
Step 1 - Create a batch file
#echo off
CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP"
winscp.com /ini=nul /script=C:\path\download_script_pm.txt
Exit
Note: When calling using SQL Server Job agent make sure to NULL out the “ini” configuration else it will throw up this error
Step2 – create a txt file (winscp script)
option echo on
option batch on
option confirm off
open sftp://user:password#sftp.xxxx.com/ -hostkey="ssh-edXXXX-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx"
option confirm off
get -filemask=">=1D" /sftp_Path/File_Name_.csv
C:\local_path_for_downloaded_file\"
exit
Note: make sure to use hostkey. To obtain host key you need to do the following :
1. Open winscp app tool and login to the server
Click Session -> Generate Session / URL code option
Check SSH Host key and copy the finger print value and use in the winscp hostkey value
Earlier I was getting the same error but now is working fine for me.
SSIS Execute Process Task :
Executable - C:\SSIS\SSIS_2008_Projects\HRIS_RepomanFusion_Load\WinSCP\WinSCP.com
Arguments - "/script=wscpBatchTest.txt" /log=C:\SSIS\SSIS_2008_Projects\FTP_Load\WinSCP\WinSCP_log.txt
Working Directory - C:\SSIS\SSIS_2008_Projects\HRIS_RepomanFusion_Load\WinSCP
Here is the WinSCP script that I use: wscpBatchTest.txt
option batch
option confirm off
open sftp://username:password#ftp.test.com
option transfer binary
cd /home/SAFAA
get employeedetails.csv C:\SSIS\SSIS_2008_Projects\SAFAA\InputDirectory\
close
exit

Why can't I run my Perl job in Hudson?

I tried to do this in Hudson but:
I have a script in Perl on my server (windows): lets say: d\util\demo.pl I want to have it running in Hudson. so I go to Hudson, create new job, go to: Build Execute Windows batch command and add: perl.exe d\util\demo.pl
I got this error: 'perl.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
please help!
It can't find the perl.exe in the path of the agent that is running the task. Verify that perl is properly installed AND that the path where perl.exe was in stalled to is in you system path on EVERY agent that will run this task.
Can you run that command from any folder of the server?
If yes, than the Hudson server runs definitely under a different user account. Make sure that the user account Hudson is running under has all necessary environment variables set.
If not, than add the full qualified path to the perl.exe (e.g. C:\program files\perl\bin\perl.exe d:\util\demo.pl). If this doesn't help, you have to also set all environment variables (see "if yes").
