On my university website, when I pull down the drop-down menu to display my schedule (which is quite long), the website shows my schedule, but the link doesn't change and when I refresh the page, I have to make to pull down the drop-down menu again if I want to display my schedule again.
Here's a simple example that I've found on google translate. When I click here ...
A menu is displaying without modifying the link
So when I click where my mouse is on the first picture, it displays a menu that doesn't affect the link, but when I refresh it disappears.
I think it's the same thing that on my university website. How can I manage it ?
Thank you !
Strangely, all of the links in a HTML/CSS/JS dropdown menu (top right with parent menu items "Home" "Shop" "Create" as shown in example image), do not click-thru to their href= destinations on the 1st click. Clicking 1 time does nothing. Wait a few seconds to verify nothing happens, then click again - works browser follows the link to the destination on the 2nd click fine.
I am testing in Google Chrome.
This is the only menu or set of links having this issue in the entire site...
I've already right-clicked on them to inspect-element with the developer panel in Chrome, expecting to find some other element blocking it or something but it's not the case, the target seems clickable and the hover states work fine and everything.
View example here: http://www.PuckStyle.com
Thank you!
Update:
Here is a screenshot as requested-

I managed to find something using the Chrome dev tools checking for events.
If I remove that click event (1) then I can single click the link in the menu.
When I click the link to the script (2), the code block (3) is highlighted.
Looks like a script to double-tap. You could remove it from your site. Double-taping in your website is probably not needed.
So I do not know exactly on how to word this so I tried my best in the title.
What I am trying to do is have a modal popup and as the user clicks a next button, it slides to the next screen. Here is an example of what I am trying to accomplish.
This is the home screen. When a user hits start a Ionic Modal pops up
This is the ionic modal. I am going to add a next button that allows a user to go to the next screen or go back to the previous screen before submitting.
SO, I do not want to use states because I do not want to have to create a state in app.js for each and every screen. Is there a way to add multiple views and switch between them using a Ionic Modal? Or will I have to use States or create multiple Modals?
TL;DR -> I want to slide between views when a next or back button is pressed. (Survey application)
NOT looking for code writing exactly, just trying to pick someones brain on how they would accomplish the sliding between views using a Modal
Thanks everyone!
You probably need on click on your button :
force close of your modal
use $state.location to change $state
This is what I'd try if I was in your situation ;)
I am writing tests for my Bootstrap 3.x webapp using Nightwatch. All is working fine, but I would like to add the "close modal by clicking somewhere next to it" in one of my tests. I don't seem to be able to identify the html element that's supposed to receive the click event however.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!
The background is a div with class .modal-backdrop. According to the docs: "...generates a .modal-backdrop to provide a click area for dismissing shown modals when clicking outside the modal."
I am using core-scaffold, and in general it works nicely (mainly). When I drag the window smaller (desktop), the drawer hides and the hamburger menu button appears and is functional. However, when I select an item in the menu/drawer, the drawer does not retract. Viewing my webpage on a phone is not satisfactory. But it does update the content correctly.
Is there some CSS that I should add?
I have tried importing core-animation, core-transition-pages which make no difference. A bit naive I think!
It can be seen on my (draft) webpage acsumama.com
thanks
Steve
I have tried the website that you reference acsumama.com, and adding the following onclick event in the menu link works
hope it helps.
