How to log out from OneNote 14.0? - onenote

I have Windows 7 Professional operating system on my computer. I am using OneNote 14.0 as part of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. I have a personal account attached to it; I created notebooks in it and saved them on my OneDrive and they sync good so everything is working ok.
Now I want OneNote 14.0 to stop using my personal account so I am looking to log out of my personal account from it. But I could not find how to do that. I can click on File --> Share menu option to open Share Notebook tab; in there in the 3rd section Web Location, I can click on Not myName link but nothing happens and I stays in. Very frustrated. Please help.
TIA.

It's been awhile, but does File | Account show the right UI for you?

About Microsoft CDN server on Windows Phone 8

I will attempt to be clear. Well, in the old web store of Windows Phone 8 before I could download manually any app or game, via the link: "Download and install manually" as you can see
in this image It is a feature that was lost with the arrival of the new store of Windows 10.
Ok. Now, in the following video Download and Install Apps (XAP/APPX Files) on WP8.1 via PC you can see at time t=53 sec, appears at bottom of page the link http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/vimeo/the App ID/xap?apptype=regular
After the user clicks on 'Download and install manually' a popup box appears. Now you can see inside the pop-up box that the downloading of the app is downloaded from: http://cdn.marketplacecontent.windowsphone.com
But in fact the complete address follows this format:
http://cdn.marketplacecontent.windowsphone.com/public/the App ID?downloadname=name of the app.type of file(xap, appx or appxbundle)
For example, this is the direction of the game Tentacles: Enter the Mind from the Microsoft CDN server:
http://cdn.marketplacecontent.windowsphone.com/public/8915ee7c-c55d-4e8f-a0b6-f80497e6f26e?downloadname=tentacles-enter-the-mind.xap
As you just seen, the old web store of Windows Phone 8 could download apps and games from the Microsoft CDN server. Even with the new store Windows 10 you can still download apps from Microsoft CDN. There are website that somehow can download apps and games from the Microsoft CDN server such as: www.appx4fun.com www.windowscommunity.in and www.winphonehub.org to mention some.
Based upon everything I said, you have any idea of how to I can access the Microsoft CDN server to download apps without resorting to third-party stores? I would like to know how they do it.
NOTE: All apps can be downloaded manually using this address:http://cdn.marketplacecontent.windowsphone.com/public/the App ID?downloadname=name of the app.type of file(xap, appx or appxbundle)but for it to work you need to know the ID of the app you want to download and the type of file. How can I find the ID of the app? Know the ID is a very important information!
Well, that's all. I hope your answer
Regards.

Onenote2007 notebooks are read-only in Onenote2016 unless I convert them

I have a stack of onenote2007 notebooks that I'd rather not convert to onenote2016.
Opening one of these onenote2007 notebooks in onenote2016 results in every section being read-only.
I searched the internets and found this article:
https://support.office.com/en-au/article/Upgrade-to-OneNote-2016-for-Windows-d22943e9-4c4e-4b4c-bbeb-2aa533e71ea1
The article says:
OneNote 2016 can read notebooks created with either OneNote 2016 or 2013 and it can also open, view, and edit any notebook files saved in the older OneNote 2010 and 2007 file formats.
If you’re upgrading from OneNote 2007 to OneNote 2016, your existing notebooks in the 2007 format won’t be automatically converted. This is to make sure you can use OneNote 2016 for all the notes you’re currently working in, including collaborative projects with people whose shared notebooks are saved in the older format. If you're still sharing notes with people using OneNote 2007, postpone upgrading the notebook file format until all others have upgraded to OneNote 2010 or later.
So, it sounds like I should be able to edit a onenote2007 notebook in onenote2016. But it shows up as readonly.
Things i've tried
Checked my office2016 is activated.
Tried to open the notebook from a \\ path. Same read only problem.
Tried to open the notebook from a C:\ path. Same read only problem.
Ensured the path to the notebook is not read-only by the OS.
I converted a section of a test notebook to onenote2016 and I could now edit that one section, but not the others (as they hadn't been converted)
I've checked the options for onenote2016 and couldn't find anything.
Thank you in advance.

To check which file format a notebook is saved in:
In OneNote 2016, open a notebook, and look at the title bar of the OneNote window. If [Compatibility Mode] is shown next to the notebook name, then the notebook is saved in the older 2007 format.
In OneNote 2010, choose File > Info. Next to the name of the notebook you want to check, choose the Settings button, and then choose Properties. In the Notebook Properties dialog box, look at the Default Format to see what format the notebook is saved in.
Guess you'll have to export each files by hand to the 2016 format :/

I upgraded OneNote 2007 to OneNote 2016 and this is how i fixed it.
Right click on the notebook.
Select Properties
Select the button that says "Convert to 2010-2016"
Done!
Thanks!

add interactivity checkbox missing in excel 2010

I'm trying to publish an excel file to the web and I want this file to be interactive for everyone.
After searching Google I saw that in the old office you could do it by enabling the "add interactivity" checkbox that is now missing in office 2010.
does anyone know how I can make my published excel file (now *.htm) be changed by any user through his Web browser?
Unfortunately, the capability of publishing interactive web pages was removed after Excel 2007. You will not be able to accomplish this using Excel 2010.
Have a look here for more information.

Open a shared folder on a domain from a web page

Thanks for you help in advance,
I am building a very simple web page , (a single page) with links to e.g bbc.com, cnn.com etc, (this works fine)
now i need to create diff links on that page to various location on our internal shared drive, which is already map to user pc from the server (running win server 2008).
wen users who's systems are not connected to our domain try to access the shared drive (after a shut down) they are always prompted for username and password which then give them access to the drive.
my ques now is how do i create this link on my html page so that when users click it. its opens (\10.10.0.1\k\Shared\HR) in windows explorer and not in the browser which it does now.
<li data-tags="Logo Design"><img src="images/portfolio/thumbs/image(5).jpg" alt="Illustration" />
this is the line i use.
i have read this links but they dont look to ans my ques, or i dont just understand what to do,
Opening windows explorer via link
Open ClickOnce application deployed in shared folder by a web browser
Access a shared folder from a machine not in the domain
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7249017/open-file-w-test-in-explorer-exe-not-in-chrome-or-internet-explorer-any (this looks like what i need but i don't know where to fit in the code there)
How to launch an EXE from Web page (asp.net)
am doing this on my system but will transfer it to the server, and will place a shortcut to my index file on users desktop.
Thanks for you help, I hope I have provide all the info needed to help me with this.
we all use chrome cause of google drive
This will not be accomplished by any default browser configuration that I am aware of, as using file:// references would typically cause the browser to try to launch the file. Maybe search though Chrome plug-ins to see if something is available there to override default browser behavior.

API for Microsoft OneNote 2010 + SkyDrive Web Services?

I am quite familiar with the Microsoft OneNote 2007 and 2010 APIs, however these interface directly with OneNote itself. In 2010 we have the great facility of syncing OneNote with SkyDrive. This works really well. We can also use the OneNote Web App, Windows Phone 7 and now the iPhone app to access our documents.
My question is this, is there any way of accessing the SkyDrive (or similiar) API directly to enable access to our OneNote notebooks on SkyDrive itself? I trust existing OneNote Uers will see the power of this.
Opening up fiddler I see all sorts of calls to http://docs.live.net/SkyDocsService.svc. The services are also referenced in a forum post by Daniel "Mr OneNote" Escapa on a forum post below:
OneNote has a 3 screen solution with the 2010 release. We will have the desktop app, the web app and a mobile app all which sync to the same place in the cloud to Windows Live. This will allow you to do all of the same things you mention above. So when you are at your parents you can use the browser to view your notes (IE, Firefox & Safari). You can also view your notes in the Android browser on your phone and finally I hope there is a OneNote app for the Android in the future. For example there is a 3rd party group which has released an iPhone solution for OneNote 2007 even without all of these web services we are adding in Office 2010.
