What could be the issues? anyone faced such issues? how to reslove this? Pl help. Thanks.
Delete this folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
I looked everywhere for this solution. Deleting the above folder did the trick, followed by running the repair option from SQLServerReportingServices.exe (run as administrator).

Ok, I don't rly know where to start, but let's do this.
So for two weeks I had my last working day where everything was working fine in VS 2019 (16.11.4). Today I wanted to start a project, and i got the following error message:
Unfortunately, a process used by VS has encountered an unrecoverable error.

Followed by another error:
There was an error activating the remote language server. Plese select Help > Send Feedback > Report a problem.
These errors also appear, when I create a new project. The only way I can start VS19 without errors is, when I click "Continue without code" in the popup.
So I tried to repair or modify VS. When I want to repair it, it failed. The popup which is prepairing the repair info is shutting down with no error message.
I didn't find that much information in the internet, especially with the error code.
Furthermore I detected, that I cannot install or uninstall VS19. Plus, I cannot install VS22, because it is aborting again after the "preparing the VS installer". Again no error is poping up.

I used to get frequent chrome driver error in karate UI tests. I have been using karate tests in VS code for the past 5 months. Now, I used to get driver config / start failed: chrome server returned empty list from http://localhost:[port] frequently. Sometimes, I need to run 20 times to run the same test to succeed. All other runs throws either "driver config / start failed: chrome server returned empty list" / "ERROR com.intuit.karate - evaluation of 'karate-config.js' failed: javascript function call failed"
I have installed chrome multiple times but I get the same error. Also I have re-imaged my laptop due this issue and through something went wrong. Even now I used to get the above errors often.
I have installed Chrome 64 bit in windows laptop, it get installed in "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" but karate standalone will always check the Chrome path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" in runtime which doesn't exists.
Note: I have set the chrome.exe installed path in my system environment PATH but karate not considering the path variable. Please advise me on this.
So I have modified the driver config as given below:-
* configure driver = { type: 'chrome', headless: true }
[To]
* configure driver = { type: 'chrome', executable: 'C:/Program Files/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe', headless: true }
Karate version: 0.9.6.RC3

OpenJDK Runtime Environment 18.9 (build 11+28)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 18.9 (build 11+28, mixed mode)
Chrome Driver config
configure driver = { type: 'chrome', executable: 'C:/Program Files/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe', headless: true }
Chrome Driver Errors

Please guide me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Chandra
I was same error. Actually its finding chrome.exe in different location where actually its not located.
In default it's looking at "C:/Program Files (x86)/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe"
but actual path was 'C:/Users/ues/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe'
So check your chrome.exe path.
Hope it's helpful.
I have solved my problem by defining in the config file as;
"karate.configure('driver', { type: 'chrome', port: 9222,
executable: 'C://Program Files//Google//Chrome//Application//chrome.exe' });"
maybe assigning a port help me to solve the issue but one thing to consider here is that u need to use forward slashes in the executable command.
No one else has reported this, so you'll need to figure this out maybe with the help of someone who can troubleshoot your machine. Maybe there are some permission restrictions. Maybe your old processes are still running, so make sure you go to your task manager and kill them etc, this is quite common on Windows.
And please upgrade to 1.0 before trying anything else, because that may help: https://github.com/intuit/karate/wiki/1.0-upgrade-guide
Otherwise we will need your help to maybe debug and suggest changes to the framework. Ideally you should contribute code to Karate, and remember - it is an open source project. If you are able to replicate your problems, follow this process: https://github.com/intuit/karate/wiki/How-to-Submit-an-Issue - but I'm not sure that is possible with the kinds of issues you are describing.
If none of the above options work, you may need to consider switching to some other framework.
EDIT: most teams run on CI + Docker which is much more stable: https://stackoverflow.com/a/62325328/143475
I have a .NET 3.5 project with a corresponding unit test project.
First of all, since the Update to VS 2013 I cannot longer run the test project with MSTest. I learned that vstest.console.exe is the new preferred way to execute the tests.
Nevertheless, during the test run with vstest.console.exe which executes 550 UnitTests, all of them successful, my console gets spammed with a LOT of these exceptions:

I don't know what I did wrong.
I can only guess that because the tests are executed in Isolation mode (probably because of .NET Framework 3.5), it needs to transfer some objects between app domains, and here these exceptions occur.
My Question is:
Why can't the assembly be located? The Moq.dll is right beside my unit test assembly. What can I do to prevent these hundreds of exception messages during the test run?
Update:
I was being asked to run the fusion logger alongside, and it gave me this info:

Now, I am asking why it does not use the Assemblies provided with my test project.
I cannot copy the Moq.dll to any of these paths, since I run multiple test projects in the same test run that use different versions of some assemblies and I could only provide one specific version here.
I was getting similar warnings on the build machine. The reason turned-out to be MockExceptions being thrown during the unit tests execution (All tests were successful even in my case, because of async-await weirdness).
Trick to identify these exceptions is to 'Debug' the unit tests instead of 'Running' (Right click and select Debug Selected Tests at project level). Fixing these MockExceptions got rid of the build warnings for me. Hope this helps.
Okay, I found the issue.
It seems that in the Moq NuGet package the Moq.dll in the lib\net35\ Folder is a dll built against .NET 4, and this cannot be loaded when the test is run in a .NET 3.5 environment.
I was following exact the same steps as described in this article to test the dotnet app.
https://developers.google.com/drive/examples/dotnet
My env is visual studio 2010 and IIS 7
Everything was fine. The app deployment was successful and I could see the login screen and the "allow access" dialog. However once I granted access, I saw the following error.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,

edit CRM 4.0 Was installed and working perfectly fine. I tried fresh install and upgrade of 2011 edition and im having these problems
Are you an administrator on your domain? The CRM setup process adds some groups to AD, so you'll need access on the domain to create those groups if you are the one running the setup process.
Figured out the problem. I had to reassign the Webserver and application roles on the server, then reinstall sql server. That fixed the issue. For some reason the sql server thought the name had changed or something - despite numerous reinstallations. Not sure why or how - but that fixed it
