How can I write a macro in MS Access that will automatically run multiple SQL queries and also save them simultaneously? If I choose the OpenQuery action then it needs a query that is already saved but I want to run queries on multiple tables using macros, is there any way to do this!
Use a simple function to create the query. Then you only need to run it. If you don't supply a name, the query will not be stored (temporary).
Create query:

I have a little problem with downloading data from Oracle DB and moving it to the MySQL table.
On Oracle i have only a read privilege. The only task I could execute is Select.
On MySQL i have select/insert/update privilege. Also, there's no problem to change anything in mysql structure - i also have access to mysql root.
Each week I have to download huge amount of data from Oracle and move it to MySQL (for further processing). The best (and the only) solution in my case is to use MS Access.
My vba code snippet looks like (code is usually put into a loop, where I perform some inserts, each for different business site. Executing it in one query sometimes meet no end).

All of used tables/querydefs are linked tables or pass-through querydefs.
Just a question. Situation is as follows:
I have 15 make table queries that pulls data for a different submission clarification code that was used on a claim; i.e. Pull all claims where submission clarification code 5. As of right now I have a macro that will run all 15 queries, but each time I am required to type in the region I am filtering for due to the [What Region?] prompt I had put in the criteria field.
My question is:
Is it possible to use VBA to run all 15 queries using the DoCmd.RunSQL where I only have to type in the region number once and it will apply it to all queries?
My initial thoughts were I would have VBA prompt me for what region I'm filtering for, store that in a variable, and then use that variable in the SQL statement. But I'm not even sure if you can do that? Thanks in advance for any advice that may be given!
Update: So after reading a few threads, I created a mock database to try out some of the concepts and I think I might be on the right track?

So to apply this to the 15 queries I would just Dim other variables as DAO.QueryDef right? I'm note really sure i need the SQLString part either? Also, I noticed that when running this mock code it took quite a while for it to create the new table. Is this normal? Also also, the code will not run if the table it is creating already exists. Is there a way to just have the code replace the existing table with the new one? Kind of new to this VBA so thanks for your patience.
Short answer is yes, this is possible. Some keywords you want to familiarize yourself with are "parameters" which are the variables with the prompt and "Querydef" or query definition.
There are quite a few articles detailing how to pass parameter values to a query programmatically. Check out this page for a solid overview of how to accomplish this. Most notably, the last example uses an inputbox to prompt the user to provide the parameter value, which gets you close to what you need. (ie. cmd.Parameters(0).Value = InputBox("Enter a country name"))
Modified to your design, it might be best to create a string variable and ask for the parameter first, then use the variable in declaring the parameters individually, which would permit a single parameter submission that gets applied to all queries.

I have a database which I'm working on. It is composed of split database, both front and multiple links to backend tables.
I am working on a report which is composed of 15 different sub-reports. I have a form which allows me to input start date and end date for the report. There's a button which generates the final report. The problem is when I want to generate the report, I would have to re-run each of the different make-table queries for each of the sub-reports. The issue with this is that there would be 2 warnings for each query, one to delete my table and another for rows added to the table.
I researched online and found this code to run the Execute command which will remove all the warnings. I'm new to VB but I figured I'll give it a try and I get the following run-time error "3078: The MS Access database engine cannot find the input table or query". I checked the query name and it matches so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error. I've only tried one of the 15 queries so I can make sure it works. Once I get this to work, my other question is would combining all these into 15 execute commands work in the module?

So lets break down the real reason why this code doesn't work.
You copied and pasted Visual Basic for Applications(VBA) into a .VBS(Visual Basic Script) file and expected it to work, I assume.
The problem with this is that VBA and VBScript are slightly different languages. Review the info section for both tags on stackoverflow when you get the opportunity.
For now lets just patch your code and maintain your DAO object so you don't have to reconstruct your Database usage with ADODB.

Set an access object so you could maintain the remainder of your code.
Added the acc.DBEngine. before OpenDatabase with additional parameters.
Renamed your Sub from Form_Click to ExecuteInsert, then placed ExecuteInsert at the top of the code so that the vbscript activates the sub. If you just place a sub in a vbscript file, it will not necessarily run, you have to activate it directly.
