There is already a feature request for this in the IssueTracker for Google Maps Platform. You can star this issue to get updates on it.

I am using a javascript Google Maps V3 to show the location of places I have on my site, I can only offer a small view on my site so anyone who wants to see the larger map on google should either click on the Google icone on the bottom left, or in some cases I saw a link/button on the map stating "click to show on Google Maps".
So my question is how to show the link/button on my map that can open the same location on google maps site.
Google map provides an option to customize the link by adding some parameters for viewing map.
You can get the list of parameters here:
http://alvarestech.com/temp/routeconverter/RouteConverter/navigation-formats/src/main/doc/googlemaps/Google_Map_Parameters.htm
You'll need to pass the parameters to the link.
Example: https://www.google.com.au/maps/preview/#,,
You can also refer this post for more details: How do I link to Google Maps with a particular longitude and latitude?
Google recently changed Google Maps UI, and now the links I use does not work anymore.
I've tried searching, but I haven't been able to find info om how i should build links to the new Google Maps. I only find info on integration, and static image maps, which still works, but I want to be able to click on the image to get to the full Google Maps.
This is the format I used earlier:
https://maps.google.com/maps?z=16&t=h&q=loc:48.854013+2.350232
Does anyone know how I can get that work again, or preferably, a link to the entire documentation?
Here is the API for Google Maps Embed API
check the new link structure.

Look at the InfoBox from the utility libraries. There is an example in the documentation.
I am using google map in my application. I have an application regarding to property sales and purchase for that I have used google map.
But now I have to add Bird's Eye view in it. Since there is no such a concept in google map api, I have decided to use Bing map.
But when I implemented a bing map in it, It affected the functionality of google map.
Means it conflicted the google map.
Can't I use bing map with google map?
Have any Idea?
When you want to use both Google map and Bing map in your application, then you can use different iframe for each.
It will prevent conflicting between each other...
Thanks to brian.behling for their post on Google help forum.

I have answered this question just because anyone else can refer to that easily...

I am using the google maps api v2 to build attraction guide mashup. Currently it shows some landmarks on the tiles it returns. I notice some of the geocoding of certain attractions is off.
Is there a way I can tell google to send back map tiles with no land marks? I cant seem to find any info on the api docs about it.
As of Google Maps API v3, you can use the Google Maps API Styled Map Wizard to do exactly this.
There is no way to request custom tiles from Google. Your only option is to choose from the available map types, or to generate your own tiles.
The Terrain map (G_PHYSICAL_MAP) might be more acceptable for you.
