SRSS Link Generate CSV File with username and password - reporting-services

We got on the report server a report that it gonna generate a CSV file. The link is:
http://reportserver/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?/Reports%20Temporary/SugarAPI&acccode=ABC&rs:Format=CSV
The problem is when they click the link they got a prompt with username and password. How the username and password be embedded in the link?
Thank you!

You cannot embed username and password to the link, but if the user has permission to download report and if your users are authenticating under Domain, you can enable simple feature of Internet Explorer not to prompt password.
Go under Internet Options and Select Security Tab
Cick on Custom Level
Go to User Authentication Section
Select Automatic logon with current username and password
then users can authenticate without using username and password
If you are going to use this URI inside your backend application, SSRS has its own SOAP Services which you can use to get authenticated to report server and download CSV file.

Redirect to Moodle home page by skipping login

I have a customized Moodle website for which I would like to login directly without prompting the user to provide username and password in Moddle login page.
I have a third party application which uses MySQL DB and has user table in it. Moodle application also has user details available already. No need to create user from external application, just the login is sufficient. From my application, I would like to redirect to Moodle home page by skipping login page. I read about the options about CAS server and external DB authentication in Moodle. There are no clear documents about how to set his up or which option suits my scenario.
So am confused whether should I use CAS server authentication or External DB authentication?
How can I skip the login prompt and make the user login directly by utilizing the username (and not password) ?

SSRS Guest User Permissions

I am using SSRS 2019 hosted on a local server to deliver reporting functionality. I am struggling to grant user access using a guest account.
I have created a guest account on the server pc and added the user \Guest as a system user in both the home folder and site settings of the SSRS directory. The guest user can log in to the directory and see reports, but when the user tries to access the report they are prompted for login details again. The database login details are a generic username and password.
This is where the user gets stuck; they keep getting prompted for their username and password. When they enter them correctly, the security prompt just opens again. The report is set to inherit permissions from the parent folder, and the user appears on the report security tab with browser permissions.
I have tried adding the SSRS directory as a trusted site on the server, but am still running into this issue. Is it something simple that I have overlooked?
Adding the server pc to the domain network solved my issue.

Access .mdb file in shared drive - only I can see Logon (Name/Password) popup when opening file?

I have an Access file (.mdb) that I created an Admin password for. When I try to access the file, I get a Logon popup to enter a Name and Password. Seems to be working just fine for me.
However, I have it saved on a shared drive, and no one else is seeing the Logon popup when they try to access it. They just have free reign of the application, regardless of whether they have the Admin password or not.
Is there something "special" I need to do so that users on other computers can see this? Or is this not possible?
Seems like you haven't set up user level authentication properly.
The prompt for the password is due to User-level security, a security option that has been deprecated since Access 2007.
The password prompt shows up in two scenario's:
Your system workgroup file requires a password
You're entering the database using the /wrkgrp command-line switch, which is pointing to a workgroup file requiring a password.
With properly set-up user-level security, access to the database is denied if a user doesn't enter using the provided workgroup file, or doesn't enter a valid password.
I recommend you use the latter option, use a separate workgroup file, and the command-line switch for users entering the file. Or better: don't use user-level security at all, but go for a different modality of security (if only one password is enough, encryption is the way to go).

SSRS Report Manager (2008R2) will not save Windows credential password in data source

On a test server, we have a data source using "Credentials stored securely in the report server" and "Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source". The account is a domain account. If I enter the password and click "Test Connection" I get "Connection created successfully" but the password box empties and when I click "Apply", the password isn't saved.
I have all rights on the folder and am set up as a Systems Administrator role in Site Settings.
Our other test servers are set up the same way and I don't have a problem with them. A coworker with the same rights as me has no problem with this server. All of them have the data sources set up to use the same domain account. So the problem is only it is me working with this one server. It worked fine for the last year and just stopped working this week. So something must have changed, but I can't figure out what.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark
If you move a report (copy/paste) the report credentials have to be re-entered. This data is not saved in the definition itself.
