Unable to create a new project in Web2Project - open-source

I recently downloaded Web2Project after going through the reviews. Installation was a breeze and the application is neatly aligned. I was able to create the users, assign permissions, create companies etc.
However when I am trying to create a project , despite filling all the fields in the screen the page just refreshes back without giving any error message or creating a project.
I am looking to see if there is a way to troubleshoot what is going on with the page. I tried exploring to create an account in Web2Project support forums but not able to create an account through the available media and hence seeking technical assistance through Stackoverflow.
Web2Project New Installation
Web2Project Code (Just installed on WAMP Server) -- Projects Module
After filling all the fields in the Project Screen, the project should be created.
But the screen just refreshes without creating the project. No errors shown. When I go to Project List page nothing is created.

I was facing same problem. Took a lot of work until realized that the cause was the field PROJECT_ID of the table PROJECTS was not created with the auto increment definition. I just seted up this property and the problem was solved.
How did i discover the cause of the problem? In the SYSTEM ADMIN module, access the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION page, and then set the value of the field DEBUG LEVEL to 1, and check the field SHOW DEBUG MESSAGES. This will allow the web2project to log into C:\Windows\Temp\PHP72x64_errors.log (in case of my instalation) the error.
Good luck!

I'm facing the same problem and took a lot time to solved until I came here.
Goto the table project immediately, found no auto_increment in project_id field. Put it on, it worked!
And hoping current web2Project maintainer will fix this in their installer.
Thank you!

New user added to TFS has different settings than rest of users

I have 2 issues going on with TFS.
We have 2 active directory roles set up for TFS and Visual Studio 2015: ADMINS and USERS. And we have one main Team Project.
We recently hired two contractors and added them to our USERS role. But what we have noticed is that on their machines, as soon as they start to edit the files, it shows as [lock, edit] where everyone else shows just [edit]. The primary difference that we know of is they have Windows 10 where the other developers are on Windows 7. I have been trying to troubleshoot this for the past week with no success. Any suggestions on what I can look at/query to find this? This isn't stopping us, but still having to workaround it.
Then mid morning one of these contractors was trying to edit some Shared Datasets. And now he keeps getting "Access to path [filepath] is denied" but so far it looks to only be happening on *.rsd and *.rds. He was able to create a Dataset, commit it to TFS. But then is unable to edit it. But he can then delete and commit the deletion to TFS. This is completely stopping him for working on these, so this is more of an issue currently.
I saw a post about checking the local file properties to see if it is read only. We did try to change the readonly setting. The file updated but it won't show in TFS Pending Changes or allow him to Undo the change. We currently have 3 solution with a ssrs project. He gets the same issue in all. I had another developer who is in the USERS role validate that she can edit.
Any suggestions on how I can trouble shoot these items is appreciated.
For the [lock, edit] issue, if the user select lock type (e.g Check in- ... Check Out-...) when Check Out for Edit... then it will show as [lock, edit].
For the "Access to path [filepath] is denied" issue, seems it's related to permission settings on your local machine or AD. So, please check if the user has the correct permission to access the the shared path/files. For the specific files, make sure they are not read-only.
To troubleshoot that, just try below things:
Try the contractor's account on other clients, (e.g on Windows 7) to
check if it has the same issue.
Try move the user from USERS role, then add the user separately
in TFS and give the corresponding permissions, then check if it has
the same issue.
Check Security and Version Control settings and make sure no
restrics.

How to properly setup a MYSQL database with JAVAFX intellij?

Ok so Im am still very new to javafx and intellij. I am working on a little project of my own right now and all I am trying to build is a simple calendar just like apple's version or google's. I figured this would be a good exercise for me to get to know the Intellij IDE better and JavaFX.
Here is the problem that I seem to be stuck with for a couple days now. In my application, a user has the ability to create a new event which contains many properties such as "event name", "first name", "last name" etc.. Now all the information is stored in a shall we call it "NewEvent" Node. Here lies the problem I am facing. I am trying to save the data locally on the clients computer however I am not sure how to begin. I have browsed around and I have found this thing called MYSQL that is supposed to do just that. I was hoping you guys could help me out here on how I should set this up.
Here is what I've done so far.
Downloaded MYSQL v5.7
Downloaded MYSQLWorkbench
Created a Database called "event" with all the properties contained in the Node
Somehow added the MYSQL database to intellij
Created a dialog where if the user clicks save, all the information is stored in a node.
To my understanding in order to access the data stored in the MYSQL table, shouldnt the "data file" be saved in my project folder? I have no clue where this is located. Also how would I gain access to database in order to edit it dynamically. Like adding a new row to the database.
I have looked up online with many different searches but they all seem to be using NetBeans and they are mostly outdated. I found it really hard to find information from start to finish. All I want to do is to store data locally and to access it. I expect to have a largely populated database, seeing as no one actually deletes an event once its over so what I was told is that MYSQL is capable of handling huge data. Hence my choice to go along with it.
I have done a little Android Application last summer so I am a little familiar with MYSQL, however I remember saving the data onto a table on the clients phone.
MySQL isn't an embedded database. Only the libmysqld is embeddable.
You can integrate JavaFx application with any database. HSQLDB or H2 would be more appropriate, since they do not need an installation on the client machine, and can be configured to save the data file on any location.

Can't edit table row in phpmyadmin

I've just had an issue with a client's site they couldn't login to an admin area I built for them. I verified this and went straight into the database via phpmyadmin.
I thought I'd try to edit the admin password and see if something has gone wrong here. I've clicked edit (pencil icon) however I don't get the row to edit I get the following...
Column | Type | Function | Null | Value
and a go button, no edit options, no row data, I click go and get an error:
tbl_replace.php: Missing parameter: goto
I'm guessing there is some kind of database issue going on here. I've tried a Check Table and an Analyze Table, with no results output.
Not really sure what's going on here, I've never come across this before.
Any ideas? Sorry if it's a bit vague I've tried to include as much info as I could as simply as I could.
[UPDATE]
I think I've found the culprit to a few issues on my vps, including database and my clients website etc. I found that my tmp directory is full. Old sessions and misc files not being cleared. This could very well be the cause. I have one file '.cpanel_easy-.bLfpq2ZYoTbdcY_c' that I can't identify that is taking up a whole lot of space, if I knew what this was I could possibly fix my issue.
I can confirm that the issue I was having was caused by the tmp directory on my VPS being full. It was filled with old temporary install files and a bunch of sessions (hundreds) and other miscellaneous files mainly from software updates but a whole bunch from various Wordpress installations, I'm guessing plugins with some messy coding that don't clean up after themselves.
Thanks to those that helped out.

Refresh destination schema metadata in Integration Services

I have been working on a huge ETL project with 150+ tables and during the design I had to make a major change on destination column names and data types for a couple of tables.
My problem is that I can't get SSIS to see the new schema for the tables I changed. So I would like to know how can I get SSIS to refresh this schema? I find it kind of ridiculous that there no way to tell SSIS to update the metadata from database schema, especially for database migration.
Recreating the project from scratch is out of question because I already spent some hours on it. Also changing manually the 400+ columns I changed is also not an option.
What about using the Advanced Editor and pressing the Refresh button on the left side below?
Following my previous auto-answer, I finally found what was preventing the metadata from being refreshed.
When I originally modified my database, I actually executed another script that was making a DROP on the table and then a CREATE TABLE to recreate the table from scratch. There, SSIS was never able to detect changes and I had to do all the things in my other answer.
Later today I had to make some minor modification and this time I opted for an ALTER TABLE. Magically, this time SSIS detected all the changes even notifying me to refresh columns from the advanced editor, which worked fine.
So basically all these issues has been caused by my poor knowledge about DBA and its best practices.
I found a way to fix it but that was a bit tricky.
Even thought I was completely removing any references of the table from my packages, I was always getting the old metadata.
I still don't have a clear fix but here is what I did to fix it:
Removed any reference to concerned source and destination tables
Deleted obj and bin folder from the project folder
Saved, closed and then reopened the project
Created new data flow from scratch and updated metadata was finally there
Don't know where those informations were cached but I suspect that the obj folder keeps a cached copy of your packages or that Visual Studio keeps metadata in memory which is freed when you close it. Anyway, following these steps should fix it.

Events not working in MS-Access

The database that I am working on (in MS-Access XP) seems to have become corrupted somehow. It no longer supports any events - clicks, change, update events, nothing seems to work. This is the error that I get:
The expression On Change you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: Object or class does not support the set of events.
What can I do to make events start working again? I have tried Tools->Database Utilities->Compact and Repair Database..., but it didn't help at all. Also, it hasn't been like this the whole time - events were originally working, but now nothing works, not even the auto-generated command buttons.
Compact and repair generally won't solve problems that happens in objects other than tables and indexes. Importing usually fixes those but maybe try a decompile and then an import. Decompile or how to reduce Microsoft Access MDB/MDE size and decrease start-up times
I encountered the same problem once and documented my trouble shooting steps here. The expression On Click you entered ...

Long discussion summarized.
One page that might have a solution that might help is Errors using multiple versions of Access under Vista/Windows 7 This is basically a permissions problem into the registry.
Another suggestion is to to repair the Office 2003 installation in control panel. A2003 then reverts to using Version 11 of the library, but only until A2007 is used again, then the problem reappears.
The original poster stated "Okay, after a few restarts, it seems that removing the 2007 runtime did fix the problem for me. "
Tony alluded to this in his long string of comments, but this sounds exactly like the dueling Access registration problem. I hadn't used A2007 until recently (I had the runtime installed to test if a database developed in A2003 could be deployed under it -- it could -- but hadn't used it since that testing was completely), and when I run A2007 after I've been using A2003, it has to reconfigure itself. The other day, something went wrong during the A2003 reconfiguration (after having last run A2007) and I got errors similar to yours. Running A2007 (to re-register everything as A2007) and then running A2003 (to re-register everything as A2003) fixed the problem.
The key is that when the re-registration fails, Access doesn't necessarily know it the next time it runs, so you end up running in an environment that is partly registered for A2003 and partly for A2007. The way to restore it is to run the other version of Access. That is, if A2003 is launching without the reconfiguration notice, then close it down and run A2007 so it reconfigures itself and re-registers itself as the real Access. Then when you run A2003 next, it will re-register itself as the authoritative version of Access and your A2003 app should have all of its references in proper shape.
Yes, this is very annoying.
And time-consuming.
I don't know why MS seems to think this is something that doesn't need to be fixed. While I know they don't give a rat's ass about developers who need to run A2003 and A2007 side by side, there are plenty of end users who might have an A2007 runtime app installed but also have A2003 installed as part of their base Office installation.
This has been going on forever, so I doubt it will ever be fixed.
I have encountered the same problems many times in Access 2013. From a page on MS web site, I found the answer which solved my problem. I am sharing it here.
I copied the code safely somewhere else outside Access, in the Notepad++.
Then I deleted entire vent Procedure, with its code, which was not firing.
Created fresh Event procedure, and restored the code from Notepad++ to the newly created Event Procedure.
The event earlier not firing started without any glitch. The issue got solved.
I don't know why the problem appears. This problem has come up many times and every time it is resolved with the same solution.
Try it.
Try to decompile and recompile the database.
If that does not work, I usually create a new database and import everything from this one to the new one. If something is corrupted, I will encounter issues at that time and be able to fix it.
Can you see the code in your code modules? If so, cut and paste it somewhere safe. Then flip the HasModule setting for each form to false, repair the database, and restore the code to newly created code modules.
You decompile the database by adding the flag /decompile to the start-up options i.e.
msaccess.exe “C:\my_folder\mydb.mdb” /decompile
I find that solves most of my problems. If not then another one is to re-secure the database by running the security wizard. This basically makes a new db and imports all the objects for you
I had a similar problem. When it started I created a new version of the code by copying the database. This did not help. However, deleting the form from the new database and importing it from the original solved the issue. I did not receive any warnings of corrupted code or other. It simply just worked without any changes to the VBA etc. Bit weird all in all
I compacted the database (Access 2010) into a new one. No joy. Deleted the form that was not working and imported it from the old database. No joy. Recompiled. JOY! Not sure why it quit and why it now works. I suspect a problem with a large amount of text in a linked text box on the form.
