I use Visual Studio 2015 for editing reports on Report Server 2014. All of a sudden I could not publish my editions anymore. I got the error:
The request failed with HTTP status 502: notresolvable. (Microsoft.ReportingServices.RsClient).
Every configuration remains the same, I mean, my account on AD and the report server is online and the reports are working. I can do maintenances using Report Builder, which is saving me until now. I have my reports in version control on VSTS, just in case. The SSRS was updated from 2008R2 to 2014 recently (a couple months ago), but only very recently I coud not deploy from inside VS.
What more information is relevant to put here so I can get help from community? I have already searched for solutions but nothing found here or at Microsoft KB.

After deploying my reports to the reporting server, I tried to add a subscription on one of my reports. It was not possible, and I got the error as described in this link.
http://www.kodyaz.com/reporting-services/subscriptions-cannot-be-created.aspx
All my reports use the same shared data source.
I applied the solution proposed in this link and it worked.
BUT Each time I deploy my reports (from SQL Server Data tools for Visual Studio 2013); the error comes back.
I tried to modify the properties of the shared datasource with SQL Server Data tools for Visual Studio 2013 before deploying;similarly to what is shown in the hyperlink, but in this case I am not able to access my reports anymore.
So, it seems that I could only modify the credentials "online" with my web browser; and not "offline" with SQL Server Data tools for Visual Studio 2013.
I remarked one difference between the "offline" and "online" properties of the shared data source : online, it is possible to check the box "Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source". This checkbox does not exist in SQL Server Data tools for Visual Studio 2013.
This means : each time I redeploy the reports from SQL Server Data tools for Visual Studio 2013, I have to do the online manipulation on my web browser to get the subscriptions working; which is of course really annoying...
Does someone know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor English.
I had a similar problem. I solved it by simply deploying the whole project and not only the shared data source.
I've got a solution with a 2012 SSIS project included. I've also got a 2010 SSIS project included. Both was working well I was duplicating functionality from one project to another. After going offline from TFS i got the following error:
Cannot show the editor for this task. (Microsoft Visual Studio)
Value does not fall within the expected range. (mscorlib)
In EventViewer I got the following error this morning:
Microsoft SSIS Service:
Registry setting specifying configuration file does not exist.
My research showed me it could be a permissions problem and I changed my Integration Services instance to use the NetworkService account.
I've also edited my registry key to reflect the correct path to the MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml file.
The error did not appear again however the problem still persists.
I've done a repair. Deleted SSDT 2012 along with the Data Tools enu and Build Utilities. Nothing helped.
PLEASE HELP!
I've been trying to get a report running through Microsoft ReportViewer in Visual Studio 2012. Here is my situation.
I have a report (.rdl file) that was originally created through Microsoft Reporting Services running on a SQL Server 2008 R2 server.
I originally tried moving it into a VB.NET project running through Visual Studio 2005, but when I converted the .rdl file to .rdlc and tried to bring it into the VS 2005, I could not view the .rdlc file in design time. A while after that, I figured out that this was due to schema compatibility issues because of the fact that the report was created on a SQL Server 2008 server.
So then I tried creating a project through Visual Studio 2012 instead, which we also had in house. This time I was successfull at being able to view the report in design time. However after that, I ran into run time issues because I was using Version 8 of the Microsoft.ReportViewer.Winforms dll. I believe that this was also due to a schema comaptibility issue
So now, I'm trying to move up to using a newer version of the Microsoft.ReportViewer.Winforms dll (Version 11). When I remove the Version 8 and add the version 11 instead in my references, everything appears to be fine at first, no errors present. However, when I try to build my project I get the many compile errors all over the place like the following:
Type 'Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportViewer' is not defined.
The wierdest part is that if I were to remove and re-add the reference, or check one of the Microsoft.Reporting references in the Imported namespace, all the errors go away. But when I rebuild the project the errors come back, and I'm stuck.
I'm currently running the Microsoft .NET framework 4.5 on my computer, and I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2012 as my development platform.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Doug
This might help: How to edit SSRS 2008R2 Reports in Visual Studio 2012?
Does anyone know definitively whether the ReportViewer 10.0 webforms control works correctly against a Reporting Services 2012 instance?
Our application uses v10.0 of the webforms ReportViewer control and typically we connect to one of several 2008 SSRS instances. However we have had to setup a new secure environment for one of our clients and have deployed our application to it. We are seeing some strange behavior and I just found out that this new environment runs SQL Server 2012 and therefore SSRS 2012.
The problem we are seeing is that some users of the web application get the following message in the ReportViewer control:
"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."
This doesn't seem like a client specific issue since the connection to the SSRS server is made by the application and the rendered output is sent to the client. Before we go too far into troubleshooting this issue I feel like I need to try and verify whether this combination should work ok, or if there are known incompatibilities.
Unfortunately it's a fairly big effort to just swap out the ReportViewer control we are using to the latest version that aligns with SSRS 2012 and so I'm trying to see if anyone has successfully gotten this to work without issues or not.
Thanks.
I have recently installed SQL Server 2012 Developer on my laptop. I created a simple SSRS report using AdventureWorks201. The report builds fine but will not deploy. I get the error "The specified report server URL http:/localhost/Reports_MSSQLSERVER2012 could not be found"
I am able to browse to said URL without issue. I can even upload the report and run it just fine. I am using an administrator account in both cases (on the URL and within SSDT).
Is there some reason why SSDT cannot see the URL I am specifying?
