Google Cloud Storage upload conflict from web UI - google-chrome

Just recently in the last few days, whenever I use the Google Cloud web interface in Chrome to upload a file into a Storage bucket, I am seeing:
I confirm the file DOES NOT exist in the bucket, it is a random file id name. Uploading files into this bucket from Chrome worked just as recently as last week. I don't think I changed anything related to the bucket. I believe I have updated my browser Google Chrome (69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and macOS to Mojave though.
Anybody else confirm?
UPDATE: I was able to upload a file from Firefox successfully to the same bucket (62.0.3 (64-bit)), so it seems to be a regression in Google Chrome 69 which is sort of ironic.

Uploading to Storage in Chrome now magically works. I believe the error was due to AdBlocker which recently pushed an update. Perhaps AdBlocker was the culprit.

Chrome extension not syncing

I wrote a google chrome extension which should sync data to my chrome profile to all of my computers.
Therefore i'm using the chrome storage api: Google Chrome Storage
I'm able to store and read the data on my primary pc. But on my other computer the data is not accessible.
I'm using the same profile on both computers. And i'm using the chrome.storeage.sync methods.
Because i don't want to publish the extension now i installed the extension with the developer mode activated and not over the chrome store.
Is this the reason why the data is not syncing?
Ok, i now published my app to the chrome store and now it's syncing.
So syncing is not working while your extension is under development.

Change the Chrome App IndexedDB file

I'm trying to replace the file containing the IndexedDB database of my Chrome App with the database from my client's Chrome App so that I can view and get his data.
I've experimented with installing 2 Chrome Apps on my Google Chrome. I've tried to get the database files from
C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 3\Storage\ext[chrome_app_id]\def\IndexedDB\chrome-extension_[chrome_app_id]_0.indexeddb.leveldb
folder (1st chrome app) and replace the database files on the second one. But the 2nd chrome app's data is still not updated with the data from the 1st one.
Is there a right way to do this?
I successfully updated the indexeddb database of my chrome app by replacing the database files while chrome is shut down.

How can I backup Installed chrome add-ons and restore

In my Google Chrome browser "Spell checker and Grammar checker by Ginger" add-ons installed.
It's very important add-on for me, to improve and correct spelling as well as grammar.
But now Author has been deleted this Add-on.
How can I backup installed add-on. So I'll restore this add-on in future.
All your Google Chrome Extensions (Add-ons) can be found on your local computer in the %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions folder. (Windows)
[On linux, Chrome extensions are stored in:~/.config/google-chrome/Default/Extensions/]
All you have to do is make a copy of this folder and it's contents on an USB device or on a seperate folder on your hard disk.
To restore your Extensions copy everything back to this very same folder.
You should be careful however and be aware that as Google keeps updating Chrome your older extensions may lose compatibility.
Here's a link for a bit more thorough description but it's really simple so I guess it shouldn't be much of a problem.
Use Backup and Restore Google Chrome Offline to copy Google Chrome data and extension between computers without a Google Account and without Internet.

How to silent Install chrome extension on Windows 10 Technical Preview without using a developer version of chrome.

I have a problem getting a chrome extension to work on Windows 10 Technical Preview. I have this extension hosted in Chrome Web store. However when my i run the .exe on my pc, which is supposed to install a client on the pc and an extension on chrome, i cannot see the extension in the chrome extensions.
But when i use the developer version of chrome, i can see the browser prompting me to accept/disable the extension.
What am i missing here? I am pretty new to chrome plugins. Any suggestion/help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Google Chrome (unfortunately) no longer allows private or local crx files to be installed as extensions. You must host it on the Google Chrome app store. From within the store you can make it private to a specific domain, or limit the app to only those within a Google group (they must use their Google account for access to the install).
Deployment of plugins that work within our intranet has suddenly become a major pain. I'm really surprised they couldn't come up with a better solution for this.

Geolocation not working on Chrome even from a host server

I was working on a html5 file which uses geolocation. It was working fine in Chrome version 38.0.2125.111m from both loading the file locally and from a host server. Now, Chrome does not work for geolocation from either resource. I understand the security issue when running the file locally, but it still happens from any website that is running geolocation. I get the error message of "geocode service failed". BUT runs fine from both resources using Firefox. I have a windows 7 x64 laptop. The code that I am using is right off of Google geolocation example...
I've also went to the chrome's privacy-security-location settings and checked to use allow all sites to check location and still the problem continues... Help!
I think I found a clue. I copied the geolocaton file to another website and ran fine using the same chrome version which makes me believe that it is the google api keys that was causing the problem. I deleted the keys for both local and web host and will see in a few days if indeed this was the case. If it is, then I suggest not to establish api keys during development until app is ready for production.
