Bootstrap 4 navbar justify-content-end not working in IE10 - html

I'm having trouble with Bootstrap 4 in IE10; I made a navbar with a phone number/linked-in link on the right using justify-content-end which works perfectly until I checked it in IE10, the website is required to work on IE10 specifically so it is a problem. The code is as follows:
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-md navbar justify-content-center bigText blueBG">
<!-- Dropdown toggler for small devices -->
<button class="navbar-toggler" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbar">
<span class="fas fa-bars text-white"></span>
</button>
<!-- Links -->
<div class="navbar-collapse collapse w-100 justify-content-center ml-5" id="navbar">
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="home">Home</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="#">#</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="tool">Tool</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="contact">Contact</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" id="finalLink" href="documentatie">Documentatie</a>
</div>
<div class="navbar-collapse collapse justify-content-end">
<a href="tel:+0123456789">
<i class="fas fa-phone text-white"></i>
</a>
<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/">
<i class="fab fa-linkedin text-white ml-2"></i>
</a>
</div>
The problem is that the navbar just cuts off near the right end of the page, after that it's just the white background and a blue square.

Fixed it! I omitted the w-100 class and changed the justify-content-center to justify-content-end:
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-md navbar bigText blueBG">
<!-- Dropdown toggler for small devices -->
<button class="navbar-toggler" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbar">
<span class="fas fa-bars text-white"></span>
</button>
<!-- Links -->
<div class="navbar-collapse collapse justify-content-end ml-5" id="navbar">
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="home">Home</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="#">#</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="tool">Tool</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" href="contact">Contact</a>
<a class="nav-item nav-link text-white link" id="finalLink" href="documentatie">Documentatie</a>
</div>
<div class="navbar-collapse collapse justify-content-end">
<a href="tel:+0123456789">
<i class="fas fa-phone text-white"></i>
</a>
<a href="https://www.linkedin.com">
<i class="fab fa-linkedin text-white ml-2"></i>
</a>
</div>

Bootstrap 4 only partially supports IE 10/11. Your problem here could be the "justify-content" classes which, according to this Can I Use... isn't supported properly. Try removing them and see if that works for your overflow problem. If not, please inform us of what changed.

I hope this will helpful for you,

Navbar desktop to mobile

I wanted to create a navbar hamburger in mobile view. But The issue is, I have two ULs, and when I created a hamburger The two UL's will split into mobile versions. Is there any way I can fix that thing?
This is my code:
<header>
<div class="container" id="home">
<div class="container">
<nav class="navbar navbar-default">
<div id="nav-toggle">
<a href="#">
<span></span>
<span></span>
<span></span>
</a>
</div>
<div class="mr-auto">
<span class="navbar-title">PRACTICE FOR NAVBAR HAMBURGER</span>
</div>
<div class="mx-auto">
<div class="navbar justify-content-center" id="nav">
<ul class="nav">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active hometext disabled">HOME</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#shop">SHOP</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">BLOG</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">ABOUT US</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">CONTACT</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
<div class="ml-auto">
<div class="navbar" id="nav">
<ul class="nav">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#">MY ACCOUNT</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#"><i class="fas fa-search"></i></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#"><i class="far fa-heart"></i></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#"><i class="fas fa-shopping-cart"></i></a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
</nav>
</div>
</div>
</header>
I wanted to stay the desktop view as this
The first <ul> is in the HOME section then the second <ul> is MY ACCOUNT
You can use flex for a div that includes two ul:
*{
box-sizing: border-box;
}
.container{
display: flex;
justify-content: space-between;
}
.navbar1{
width: 60%;
}
.navbar2{
width: 30%;
}
ul{
display: flex;
justify-content: space-between;
list-style-type: none;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
nav1 li{
width: 20%;
}
nav2 li{
width: 25%;
}
<div class="container">
<div class="navbar1 justify-content-center" id="nav">
<ul class="nav1">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active hometext disabled">HOME</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#shop">SHOP</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">BLOG</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">ABOUT US</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext">CONTACT</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div class="navbar2" id="nav">
<ul class="nav2">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#">MY ACCOUNT</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#">1<i class="fas fa-search"></i></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#">2<i class="far fa-heart"></i></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link hometext" href="#">3<i class="fas fa-shopping-cart"></i></a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
I think the best solution is to wrap both of your ul into a single one in mobile screen sizes using JavaScript

Set margin-top according to the height of the other element

I have two navbar´s (one under the other). My goal is that both are fixed at the top, so I applied to both (fixed-top).
To make the other navbar fit under the other, I used a margin-top. My problem is that this margin top is not responsive, if you increase or decrease the screen size, the navbar does not fit perfectly under the other.
Is there a way to fit them correctly or calculate the necessary margin top?

This should work:
Wrap both navbars in the same div
Give this div the fixed-top class
Remove the fixed-top class from both navbars
remove the inline css of the second navbar (margin-top: 74px;)
See below:
.MyNavBar {
box-shadow: 0px 12px 17px rgba(188, 188, 203, 0.14);
border-bottom: 1px solid #BCBCCB;
z-index: 9999;
}
.MyNavBar img {
cursor: pointer;
}

can't get div content to align right using bootstrap 4 as framework

experts,
I am trying to upgrade to bootstrap 4, and I am having a hard time with the flex containers.
For some reason, my navbar menu links both submenu and mainmenu are not aligned right. However, when I remove the submenu ul content completely the main menu correctly aligns to the right.
what am I missing here?
thanks in advance.

You need to use justify-content-end utility class.
Here is working codepen: https://codepen.io/anon/pen/rvOZBK

Top navbar to go underneath side navbar

I'm currently using the example from bootstrap called 'dashboard' I'm wanting to get the top navbar to actually tuck underneath the side navbar. Like this example: Image Example from Dribbble
I've put the dashboard code from bootstrap onto jsfiddle for ease of use for those that are willing to help (I really appreciate any help with this).
https://jsfiddle.net/1dy65wqx/
It should impact this:
<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-md navbar-dark fixed-top bg-dark">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">Dashboard</a>
<button class="navbar-toggler d-lg-none" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbarsExampleDefault" aria-controls="navbarsExampleDefault" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">
<span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
</button>
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbarsExampleDefault">
<ul class="navbar-nav mr-auto">
<li class="nav-item active">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Home <span class="sr-only">(current)</span></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Settings</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Profile</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Help</a>
</li>
</ul>
<form class="form-inline mt-2 mt-md-0">
<input class="form-control mr-sm-2" type="text" placeholder="Search" aria-label="Search">
<button class="btn btn-outline-success my-2 my-sm-0" type="submit">Search</button>
</form>
</div>
</nav>
</header>
<div class="container-fluid">
<div class="row">
<nav class="col-sm-3 col-md-2 d-none d-sm-block bg-light sidebar">
<ul class="nav nav-pills flex-column">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active" href="#">Overview <span class="sr-only">(current)</span></a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Reports</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Analytics</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Export</a>
</li>
</ul>
<ul class="nav nav-pills flex-column">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Nav item</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Nav item again</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">One more nav</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Another nav item</a>
</li>
</ul>
<ul class="nav nav-pills flex-column">
<li class="nav-item">

</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Another nav item</a>
</li>
</ul>
</nav>
I have changed few styles, please add this to your css file..
<div class="row" style="position:relative;">
<nav class="col-sm-3 col-md-2 d-none d-sm-block bg-light sidebar" style="position:fixed; z-index:2000; top:0px;">

Bootstrap Navigation Bar Collapse

I'm currently using bootstrap's navigation bar in order to collapse elements when the screen gets small. There are two divs that should collapse when the screen gets smaller, but before they collapse, the elements stack on each other.
Half Screen: http://imgur.com/8692UFO
Small Screen: http://imgur.com/MIrRvNH
What I'd like to do here is to collapse the social media icons on the right before the navigation links at half-screen, but using bootstrap's "hidden-sm" doesn't seem to work. I'm pretty new at bootstrap and would like some advice on how to fix this.
My HTML:
<!-- NAVIGATION BAR -->
<div class="navbar navbar-default navbar-static-top navbar-inverse">
<div class="container">
<!-- HOME BRAND -->
<div class="navbar-header">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">
<img src="./newnewfoy.png">
</a>
</div>
<!-- NAV LINKS -->
<ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-collapse collapse">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active" href="#">Home</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">About</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Event</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Volunteer</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Sponsors</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Contact</a>
</li>
</ul>
<!-- NAV MEDIA -->
<div class="nav navbar-collapse collapse medialinks hidden-xs">
<a id="YOUcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="IGcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="TWTcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="FBcon" class="mediacon" href="#"></a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
CSS:
.nav{
height: 50px;
}
.mediacon{
float: right;
}
.medialinks{
float: right;
}
.navbar-brand{
padding-top: 7px;
}
You have to add a button into the navbar header to open and close the navbar.
<button type="button" class="navbar-toggle" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#myNavbar">
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
</button>
I created a working fiddle https://jsfiddle.net/x32tf96L/
HTML
<div class="container-fluid">
<!-- HOME BRAND -->
<div class="navbar-header">
<button type="button" class="navbar-toggle" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#myNavbar">
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
</button>
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">
<img src="./newnewfoy.png">
</a>
</div>
<!-- NAV LINKS -->
<ul class="navbar-collapse collapse" id="myNavbar">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active" href="#">Home</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">About</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Event</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Volunteer</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Sponsors</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Contact</a>
</li>
</ul>
<!-- NAV MEDIA -->
<div class="nav navbar-collapse collapse medialinks hidden-xs">
<a id="YOUcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="IGcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="TWTcon" class = "mediacon" href="#"></a>
<a id="FBcon" class="mediacon" href="#"></a>
</div>
</div>
CSS is the same.
I solved it.
Solution:
<div class="container">
<!-- BRAND, BUTTON -->
<div class="navbar-header">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">
<img src="./newnewfoy.png">
</a>
</div>
<!-- NAV LINKS -->
<div>
<ul class="nav navbar-collapse collapse navbar-nav">
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link active" href="#">Home</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">About</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="#">Event</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Volunteer</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Sponsors</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link disabled" href="#">Contact</a>
</li>
</ul>
<div class="medialinks hidden-sm">
<a id="YOUcon" class = "mediacon" href="www.google.com"></a>
<a id="IGcon" class = "mediacon" href="www.google.com"></a>
<a id="TWTcon" class = "mediacon" href="www.google.com"></a>
<a id="FBcon" class="mediacon" href="www.google.com"></a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
