I can't choose right webcam in Google Chrome.
Chrome detects my webcams correctly, but I am unable to chose one of them from list because it is in a disabled state where Chrome is always choosing Facetime HD Camera instead of the default webcam that was selected in Options.
Screenshot: https://tppr.me/WC94p
Website where I have tested: https://chatruletka.com / https://ruletka.chat
chrome://settings/content/camera
The quick select is currently disabled in Chrome. You need to type the above into the URL bar in chrome to pick which webcam you want to use. I have had chrome "bug" a few times where I have had to kill chrome in task manager and restart the app to successfully swap the camera. You might need to do the above and refresh a few times.
Also if you ask for a resolution which isn't supported by your main camera it will attempt to get it from another source. I have encountered this a few times on Android when asking for a 720x1280 feed. Instead of the front camera being used the browser decided to use the back camera.
To truly solve this problem you should allow the user to select which webcam they want to use. Below is the official cross-platform example from the webrtc GitHub repo which achieves this. It also forces a specific camera to be used via the deviceId

I don't know what is happening with my PC and my Google Chrome browser. It is opening every webpage inside a iframe. I dont know why. I have tried resetting all the chrome settings and I even have tried deleting all the data ( deleted all folders related to chrome ) and re installing chrome over 10 times and still the same problem. It is really giving me pain.
You can clearly see that I am on the startup page of chrome and its showing me view frame source and reload frame. I searched it on google found 0 solutions or even 0 topics about this kind of issues. So I am really begging for a solution here..
There is no actual frame, it's just an UI issue. There is a Chrome bug report about it here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1085040
Let's hope it will be resolved in an upcoming update.

I am getting re-directs with 'webhp' something like:
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=div+with+arrow+css&start=10
I also notice that my Google Chrome Bookmark star looks differently and when I click on it I get:
I guess I can't post images...It is a strange bookmark pop-up when I click on the star.
Is this a virus and how do I get back to my old bookmark star?
Bookmark Star
Only this could cause the changing of the bookmark star
Chrome update (new version with new UI)
Shortly my answer is No:
because I don't think a malware is not being involved with changing the bookmark star of your browser
A trojan and other virus is designed to steal data on the PC or to weeken your computer
You can get the bookmark star back with maybe a downgrading If it's relly caused by an update
Re-directs
It could be a Toolbar.
With Toolbar, I don't mean the one with the tools on your browser, I mean the ones like the default page changers like:
Ask toolbar
Yontoo toolbar
Babylon toolbar
Not all of them are malicious, some of them come with installations like adwares

I'm using OpenTok for audio-only calls. When I view the site on Chrome, I get a prompt asking for both camera and microphone permissions, even though I'm only using the microphone. Also, my camera light turns on even though it's an audio-only call. Is there any way I can fix these issues?
Chrome does not let developers change the words "camera and microphone". As for the light, if you are using a built-in camera and microphone, the camera will turn on, because that is how your laptop signals that you're using the built-in microphone. If you have an external microphone, then the camera light will not turn on.

Today I noticed I was getting an AJAX loaded "Shopping Assistant" in my Google Search results:
This isn't a Google thing from what I can tell, looks like I have some spyware in my Chrome browser. Anybody know how to remove? (not listed in the Extension)
In my case it was Translate selection 1.2 addon.
Try to open a console (f12 or ctrl+shift+i) into a simple page (that is not chrome store or start page) and start disabling extensions one by one then refresh the page.
This is how it looks like when the thing is still on.
This is a spyware that comes with Flash Video Downloader extension in chrome. UnInstall Flash Video downloader that should get rid of this.
I found the same malware in Translate Selection 1.3 extension. It seems that Chrome Web Store is full of complaints about the problem: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/translate-selection/goanabmlmgfinmjohhepcpffcnkeobjm/reviews.
If you have Superfish WindowShopper extension installed, perform following steps:
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar, select Tools and then click on Extensions.
In the Extensions tab, remove (by clicking on the Recycle Bin) the Superfish WindowShopper extension.
The BetterChrome extension also contains this. Uncheck "Enable SuperFish Suggestions" in the BeterChrome options.

I installed Vimium for my Chrome browser to use but I noticed that Chrome shortcut keys take higher priority.
For instance, if I try <C-u>, instead of scrolling a page up, I see the source code of the page.
How can I configure Chrome or Vimium to use Vimium shortcuts rather than built-in Chrome shortcuts?
You currently cannot map any default Chrome shortcut keys defined already. That is unfortunately one limitation of Google Chrome Extensions API. The Extension team is familiar with such restrictions, and they have it on their queue for future APIs.
In the meantime, try to pick a shortcut that doesn't conflict.
Hope that kinda helped.
Actually David's answer should work somehow. Some may misunderstood, these commands are added in Vimium's Options Settings.
By the way, if you want to add and as scrolling full page up and down, just add the following in the "Custom Key Mapping":
unmap <c-f>
map <c-f> scrollFullPageDown
unmap <c-b>
map <c-b> scrollFullPageUp
This works for me. Enjoy!
First unmap the previous shortcut,
unmap <C-u>
map <C-u> scrollPageDown
