I've just purchased and set up Pav Fila OpenCart theme. Looks like a great theme and the only thing I want to change is the product description layout (design).
Is this easily possible with the inner block builder and layout builder or needs advanced coding? Maybe an extention?

Well if you want a simple layout change you can do this with opencart editor
Goto catalog > products > select your product ,click edit
Goto general tab
here you can customize your design like this-

I've added a widget to my Magento (1.9.x) homepage Page by adding this to the content source:

My new products show up, but they are displayed twice, in two separate HTML blocks. After investigating I can see that it is using both these templates (once after the other):
app/design/frontend/mytheme/main/template/catalog/product/new.phtml
app/design/frontend/mytheme/main/template/catalog/product/widget/new/content/new_grid.phtml
Any ideas why?
It turned out that, in the homepage Page, I already had some "Layout Update XML" defined in my Design for the Page. Not sure why it hadn't showed up until after I added the widget code above to the Content, but I removed it and that fixed the issue.
In the end I actually found & used this http://docs.magento.com/m1/ce/user_guide/cms/widget-new-products-list.html which looks like a better way to do New Products on the homepage anyway (it allows better non-dev admin control).
I need a help in magento 1.9.x
I want access Product details page via URL but Product not visible in searching and Category so for that i use 'Not Visible Individual' in Visibility section when create product from backend.
So i can't understand what i do.
Please help me.
Either You have to change visibility to "Catalog Search" OR Add this simple product to any configurable product.
I know I could edit common product view in theme-folder/template/catalog/product/*, what I need is when visit a special product, the product page show a special view, not the common style.
Anyone could give some suggestion to achieve it? Thanks.
Open admin > open your special product > design > Select your custom design and pay layout > Save.
I've Googled around for about an hour, without luck.
I'm trying to build an advanced contact formula i a Wordpress environment. The contact formula should do this:
At first, there should only be a single dropdown-menu available, like this:
Option1
Option2
Option3
If 'Option1' is selected, then some information should be shown, and then another dropdown-menu is shown, as such:
Option4
Option5
Option6
If 'Option2' is selected, then it should again show some information, but then show three other options, like this:
Option7
Option8
Option9
And so on. Many survey-formulars are built in this way - but I need to make it, to make a support-site for some different products.
I tried Googling for Wordpress-plugins, but without any luck (I must admit, I'm unsure of, what I should search for). I've used Wufoo-formula's before, but it doesn't appear to me, that Wufoo has that option.
How is this made the easiest and the best? Hand-coding it using HTML, javascript and CSS? Or are there a cool online-tool that I'm unaware of?
I had the same problem and made some research, which ended up in some results.
1. Buy the required functions
If you have a great number of forms to create and the money to invest, you could use something like Ninja Forms and buy the Conditional Logic plugin. With this you can create multiple forms and connect their elements with the needed criteria to show or hide them or to change their values.

2. Code the form
Actually we have only one form we use. This is the reason, because I decided to save my money and did it myself.I expanded our wordpress theme by another page template and created the form that fits our needs in it. After that I added the PHP code to send the form via email on the top and the JavaScript code for the conditional logic on the bottom of my php file. In Wordpress I created a new page and applied the newly created page template.
I'm not sure if this is best practice, but for me it was an easy way to achieve my goal and save some time.

I just had a look at this Link and read again & again your text item! yet fail to understand where the Array comes in ??? this looks to me quiet plain sailing you would just have to decide what you like! I use Thumbnail tree set ups as well as normal Tree set ups as well as Linked module Tree set ups where as the last would I assume be the bet for you!
YES, I did recheck that again so here is one of many I use to view in action.
Please go to enter link description here select the Tab two(2)=Show Case & once you have closed the pop Up window select the Directory item (Featured Artists - EXAMPLE) that will open the Tree node just like in the Linda example and so on!
This Tree works with modules so selects different .swf file modules showing video, text, anything really independently as you can test for yourself by selecting Information, Img. Gallery etc.!
