In MATLAB, it is possible to define code suggestions and completions as explained in the documentation page titled "Customize Code Suggestions and Completions".

Suppose I have a method called myMethod which resides in a class called myClass. Creating a JSON as above with "myMethod" instead of "anotherFunc" didn't seem to have an effect.
My question is - how can we define completions for class methods using this technique?
After some trial and error, it appears that the prediction/completion logic expects to see syntax like:
"myClass.myMethod"
In other words, this should work:

My confusion is in regards to the following: The ContainerOverrides method doesn't accept parameters, but I need to modify a parameter (Command.$), so how can I possibly do that? I came across this post where somebody seems to have a similar issue, but when I try to apply the proposed solution, of simply writing
command: JsonPath.arrayAt('States.Array($.Foo,$.Foo,$.Bar,$.Bar,$.Bar)'
I get told that ''Cannot use JsonPath fields in an array, they must be used in objects''
TL;DR The current implementation of EcsRunTask doesn't permit this. The general-purpose CallAwsService construct does.
The EcsRunTask construct is the CDK's implementation of the ECS optimised integration. The construct only accepts an array of strings as override commands. It cannot produce substitutable output like "Command.$": "$.commands" that's needed to read the override command from the execution input. This is a limitation of the CDK implementation, not of the ECS optimized integration itself.
The cleanest solution is to use the CallAwsService construct, which implements the SDK service integration. It requires manual configuration. The API-specific config goes in the parameters prop. The prop is loosely typed as { [string]: any }. It's flexible, but it's your job to provide the expected syntax for the ecs:RunTask SDK call. Here is the relevant bit for your question:

InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Compose' inputs at line '1' and column '2617': 'The provided property name 'GP.Test' has these invalid characters '.'. The name cannot contain any of the following symbols: '[, ], .'.'.
Could anyone suggest if we can handle '.' inside compose or any other way for achieving this?
Yes that is correct behavior that is occurring in the logic apps. The reason is that you have used the set property function to set the value of the GP.Test property. When working with the expressions in logic apps, the '.' operator is reserved operator and will be used to access sub properties etc of the expressions, functions etc. Hence you get the error. The solution to this is actually simple, you use the compose action directly without using the set property. Sample screenshot below.
Or if you want complex transformations, then using the liquid transformations through the integration account is the way to go
I'm looking for a way to pass a variable (normal string) from a linked template back up to my main template.
I want to use something like: (in linked template)

There's a 'sharing state in resource manager templates' doc with the usage of reference() but apparently that can't be used in variables as it gives me an error while trying to deploy.
Seems to me there should be an easy solution for this but i haven't been able to see it yet..

It looks like you made a typo at the end of your emit statement:
doc.pages[0].q-answer-placeholder,q-answer-localized.
Instead q-answer-localized should be changed to doc.pages[0].q-answer-localized.
Further to this it seems that you have defined a field as q-localized in your emit statement, but actually according to the sample document that you posted this should actually be q:localized, I assume that this was a mistake in the snippet of the document and not the emit statement, but if not then will also need amending.
I would imagine errors like this would be flagged up in the view engine's map-reduce error log, in future you should check this log so that you will be able to debug errors like this yourself.

I would like to generate JAVA classes from a given JSON Schema draft 4 version
I evaluated couple of tools and jsonschema2pojo was found to be useful. But it supports json schema draft-3 version only(although json schema draft 4 is in their roadmap).
Can anyone suggest me a tool or a way to generate java classes from a json schema (compliant to json schema draft4)
?

You might try cog, a general purpose code generator written in Ruby. I put a simple project on github called json2java which demonstrates how cog might be used to generate Java classes from json data.
Not sure exactly what you want to do, but here is what I assumed. The json data would look something like this
